Water Mage in the Flame Realm

Chapter 115: No Longer Desolate Beasts

This is, of course, a "Magic Dance."

Expressing the essence of magic in the form of a dance.

But... it's different from any traditional Water Magic that Andrew has used before.

This Magic Dance is not any one of the many Magic Series within the "Water God Mark"!

"Breaking through to Tier Three, it's more than just my Magic Power that's transformed."

Andrew thought to himself, "I also have a completely new understanding of Water Magic."

The fact is, the many Magic Series within the Water God Mark might not be tailor-made for me as a Magic Lord, but rather the "traditional Water Magic" suited for conventional Water Mages!

The path of a Magic Lord, since it's a "nascent" path of cultivation, is far from being "perfected," so maybe the one who left the Water God Mark for me just pointed out the direction for this path, and the subsequent exploration and practice have to be paved by me step by step!

With this new realization, it was natural for Andrew not to be satisfied with merely putting out fires, earning Fire Extinguishing Value, and unlocking Water Magic in this way.

"I have to create new Water Magic, truly suited for the path of the Magic Lord that I'm on now!" Andrew couldn't suppress such a thought in his heart.

So naturally, Andrew took the desert as his stage and the Desolate Beast Sand Tide as his backdrop and began to dance.

In fact, this was the first Magic Dance Andrew created that matched both his professional identity as a Magic Lord and his newly transformed Tier Three Magic Power, based on several traditional Water Magics!

"Hmph... what a show of mystery!"

Rose, hiding in the shadows, watched Andrew's dance for a moment and then shook his head with a sneer.

In this Flame Realm, magic expressed in dance form is rare.

Even rarer than the Soul Magics like the "Heart Fire Series" and the "Desolate Language Series."

"Just now, for a brief moment, I even thought this guy wasn't a Warm Fire Mage but an Earth Fire Mage from our Magic Guild." Rose thought, "I even thought this kid was dancing the legendary 'Flame Extinguishing Dance,' gave me quite a scare."

But after examining Andrew's dance style, Rose quickly confirmed two points:

First, this absolutely wasn't the Flame Extinguishing Dance.

The style of the legendary Flame Extinguishing Dance, just like its name, is filled with a sense of destruction.

But Andrew's dance at this moment is simple, soothing, even somewhat plain.

Second, even if this really is a Magic Dance, it's absolutely trash!

You have to understand, even if it's not the "Flame Extinguishing Dance," the other Magic Dances in this world are either lively and cheerful or passionate and powerful! And Andrew's dance had no trace of liveliness at all? This slow-paced dance, what in the world are you dancing?!

Rose even suspected if this was Andrew's way of deliberately mocking him.

"In any case, whatever, if you love dancing, then just keep dancing." Rose still couldn't sense any special effect from Andrew's dance.

So he decided not to pay attention and instead focused all his efforts on driving the Desolate Beasts.

Normally, Desolate Beasts wouldn't dare approach any Water Tower Tree.

But now, with the sheer number of Desolate Beasts charging collectively, combined with Rose's deliberate control—

More than twenty of the strongest Desolate Beasts charged straight at Wildfire Town's guardian "Shire"!

Although crashing into the Water Tower Tree would cause significant harm to the Desolate Beasts, as long as "Shire" is toppled, even the last invisible barrier of Wildfire Town would cease to exist.

Guarding beside Shire were Purple, and Little Ha, who had just sent Barbara back to the Wildfire Territory and returned to the Water Tower Tree at the first moment.

Purple's face was pale, but her expression was calm.

Her thought was simple: "It seems either way is death, so... just try to take a few more with me!"

Thinking this in her heart, Purple flipped her hand to retrieve a black dagger—all Desert Hunters' weapons are such black daggers—then she silently charged towards the most formidable of the more than twenty Desolate Beasts charging towards them!

With a resolute will to perish together with the enemy, Purple stabbed the dagger into the Desolate Beast's eye!

This stab, in Purple's own estimation, could not possibly pierce through the Desolate Beast's eyeball.

The Desolate Beast's weak point is only at the back of its neck.

Other parts, even the eyeballs, are not easily breached.

The result of the stab was indeed as Purple expected: Crack! It was not the eyeball but her black dagger that shattered!

"Can't even take one down with me?!" Purple felt immense unwillingness and powerlessness.

Desert Hunters indeed restrain Desolate Beasts.

But it comes with a prerequisite, which is that the terrain must be open, and it's best one-on-one, allowing the Desert Hunter enough space to skirmish with the Desolate Beast rather than directly confronting it like this.

"Damn it, come on, then come kill me!" Purple, usually gentle and well-mannered, carried the wildness inherent in this Inner Sea Desert and the harsh determination to go all out to survive in her soul.

She opened her arms and, without retreating, continued advancing toward the Desolate Beast.

She had already prepared herself to be smashed to smithereens by the opposing force!

Refusing to retreat was the last thing she could do!

Then…

She saw—

Thud!

The Desolate Beast, whose eye she stabbed, suddenly had its forelegs give way and fell to the ground. Its massive body continued to rush forward for more than ten meters before coming to a stop due to its inertia. The impact force was still considerable, but it was nothing compared to the previous full-speed charge.

"This…?" Purple was bewildered.

What she didn't know was, at the moment she chose to face the enemy head-on and stabbed, an invisible blade descended from the sky, attaching itself to her dagger.

Even though Purple's black dagger couldn't penetrate the Desolate Beast's skin defense.

The invisible Magic Blade attached to her black dagger penetrated the Desolate Beast's eye directly into its body!

And such invisible Magic Blades were not only attached to the one on Purple's dagger but were... as numerous as the Desolate Beasts besieging Wildfire Territory, in thousands, or tens of thousands!

If someone could perceive Andrew's "Invisible Enchantment," they would see: at this very moment, a downpour of magic above the entire Wildfire Territory, falling not only on Purple's dagger, but also on everyone in Wildfire Territory.

In form, they were not just blades but transformed into swords, spears, staffs, clubs, cross swords, tactical boxing gloves, and so forth, according to the different people in the territory.

These magical weapons falling like rain had no particular lethality. Their function was not to stop the rampant Desolate Beasts with strong force.

But to make the thousands of Desolate Beasts assailing Wildfire Territory, just like mountain and sea in the crimson little world... no longer act as Desolate Beasts.
