A few minutes earlier—on Anindya's side, 12:36.
Anindya was still eating her lunch slowly, but her expression still looked irritated. Her three friends, who were watching, were a little worried.
"Gulp!" Anindya swallowed the last bite.
"HAA!... Now I'm going to chat with Julian!" Anindya said with an annoyed expression and a deep voice.
Anindya started to reach for her phone, which was resting on her skirt. Desy, seeing this, stopped eating her sushi and took Anindya's open can of jasmine tea.
"A-Anindya, drink first—" Desy said, reaching for the can of jasmine tea.
"Thank you!" Anindya interrupted, taking the can of tea Desy had given her.
After that, Desy continued eating her sushi, occasionally glancing at Anindya—who was typing messages quickly and irritably.
"Moo!... Why hasn't he replied to my message?!... Even though his status is online!" Anindya grumbled irritably.
Anindya continued texting Julian. But soon, they heard footsteps approaching them—it turned out to be Wiro.
"Anindya!" Wiro called out, walking towards them.
Her three friends immediately turned to Wiro—and Anindya stopped typing on her phone and glanced sharply at him.
"Do you have time?" Wiro asked politely.
Anindya looked away and snorted.
"Hmph!,"
"If Julian isn't here, I don't have time for you!" Anindya said, still annoyed.
Anindya looked back at her phone and re-entered Julian's chat.
"I-I used to feel so friendly... But now his personality has changed..." Wiro thought to himself, smiling awkwardly at Anindya.
"Hey, playboy!" Desy called out.
Wiro, feeling like a playboy, turned to Desy. He saw her angry gaze, as she held chopsticks in her right hand.
"What do you need from Anindya?!," Desy asked with an angry expression and tone.
"You know, Anindya already has a boyfriend, so don't try to flirt with her!" Desy continued.
Wiro paused, noticing something on Desy's face—he moved closer to her, then bent down—bringing his face right in front of hers. Seeing Wiro's face so close, Desy was immediately startled, and her cheeks slowly turned red. Delima and Wulan stopped eating and could only stare at them with puzzled expressions.
"W-what's wrong?!" Desy asked nervously, her eyes wide.
Wiro didn't answer. He stared deeply into Desy's eyes—the gaze was so deep that it made Desy reflexively hold her breath, her cheeks blushing nervously.
"You..." Wiro said quietly.
Desy straightened her back, becoming even more nervous.
"W-what?!" Desy asked quickly, her voice trembling slightly.
"Are you eating a mess?" Wiro finally said, his eyebrows raised and his tone of surprise.
In an instant, Desy's expression changed—from nervous to annoyed. Her back, which had been straight with nervousness, returned to normal.
"H-huh?!... What do you mean?!" Desy asked back with an annoyed expression and tone.
"I mean... I see grains of rice on your face" Wiro replied, his gaze still suspicious.
Desy was immediately shocked.
"E-eh?!... W-Where?! Where?!" Desy asked nervously, touching her face all over.
Seeing this, Wiro smiled.
"The grain of rice is on your right cheek" Wiro replied.
Desy stopped touching her face. Then she glanced down—because it wasn't visible, she rolled her eyes to the other side of her right cheek. As Desy rolled her eyes, she unconsciously turned her head. As she turned her head, Wiro's left index finger suddenly touched Desy's right cheek.
"POKE!"
The atmosphere suddenly fell silent—only the sound of Anindya typing on her phone keyboard could be heard. Delima and Wulan were shocked to see what was happening—Desy was so stunned that she let go of her chopsticks, while Wiro simply smiled and touched Desy's right cheek.
Desy's expression slowly turned to panic, and her face flushed with anger—she quickly removed Wiro's index finger from her cheek.
"W-W-WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOINGGG!!??" Desy shouted angrily, holding her right cheek with her right hand.
Wiro straightened up.
"Ahahahahaha~... Sorry~ Sorry~ Sorry~... I was just kidding~" Wiro said, laughing out loud.
"GRRRR!!!" Desy growled angrily.
Wiro stopped laughing, took a deep breath, and then put his right hand on his hip.
"Calm down... I'm serious, there's a grain of rice on your cheek" Wiro said with a relaxed expression.
"GRRR!!!... I won't be fooled by you again!" Desy replied, still angry.
Feeling he'd had enough of teasing Desy, Wiro bent down again and picked up a grain of rice—which turned out to be on the bottom of her left cheek—not too far from the corner of her left lip, and it wasn't very large.
"See...?" Wiro asked, showing the grain of rice he was holding.
Desy's anger subsided slightly. She stared at the rice grain Wiro was holding with a surprised expression and her cheeks still flushed. But it didn't take long for Wiro to suddenly start eating the grains he was holding.
"Aamm~"
Instantly, Desy, Delima, and Wulan were stunned.
"Thank you for the food~" Wiro said with a sweet smile.
After saying that, Wiro returned to Anindya—who was still typing.
"Anindya... I want to talk seriously..." Wiro said, his expression suddenly turning serious.
Unfortunately, Anindya remained indifferent, staring at her phone screen—fingers still typing. Wiro didn't give up—he continued.
"...It's about the wound on Julian's arm" Wiro said, his expression immediately turning serious.
Hearing this, Anindya stopped typing—then lifted her head and looked at Wiro seriously.
The two of them spoke behind the school garden shed.
"So, what do you want to talk about?" Anindya asked, her arms crossed.
Wiro put on a serious expression—his arms crossed as well.
"Since recess is almost over... I'll get straight to the point" Wiro replied with a serious expression.
"What happened to Julian's arm?" Wiro asked with a serious expression.
"Didn't the blue-haired one tell you?" Anindya asked back.
"You mean my class leader?" Wiro asked.
Anindya nodded.
"Yeah, she only told me that Julian's arm was injured" Wiro said, glancing to his right.
Anindya sniffed, then closed her eyes and said.
"Good, then we have nothing to talk about" Anindya said, brushing her hair back with her right hand.
Anindya passed Wiro. Wiro gritted his teeth and chased after Anindya—who wasn't far from him. Wiro grabbed her right hand and shouted.
"WAIT—" Wiro said, not finishing his sentence.
Before he could finish and reach for her hand, Anindya—possessing the instincts of an assassin—quickly dodged to the other side, disappearing before him. Wiro, grasping at the air, quickly stepped forward to steady himself.
Once he was balanced, he straightened up—with a surprised expression, he slowly looked back—to find Anindya standing with her head bowed.
Wiro, seeing this, immediately turned around—facing Anindya. The atmosphere became silent and tense—because Anindya had exuded an intimidating aura.
"I-I don't know why I feel an intimidating aura emanating from her..." Wiro thought to himself, staring at Anindya with a frightened expression.
Anindya slowly lifted her head—making Wiro, who was watching her, tense and scared. Once her head was fully raised, she smiled sweetly, her eyes closed—but her gaze remained fixed on Wiro. The smile gradually diminished her intimidating aura, and Wiro's fearful expression shifted to one of astonishment mixed with confusion.
Anindya narrowed her smile and placed her hands under her stomach—forming a respectful pose. With a small smile, closed eyes, and a respectful pose, Anindya began walking toward Wiro, finally standing at his right side.
"You don't need to worry... Earlier, Ms. Lavendina gave him medicine, and it's true that his arm was scratched by a nail—because I stayed with him throughout the first break" Anindya said softly, her eyes still closed and her small smile still visible.
Wiro fell silent, strengthening his resolve—his gaze and expression slowly turning suspicious.
"But earlier, when I moved the chairs and tables, there were no nails embedded" Wiro said, glancing at Anindya, his expression and tone filled with suspicion.
Anindya opened her eyes—glancing at Wiro with a smile that was still sweet.
