The five opponents' faces simultaneously changed.

"Hold onto me!!" Jiang Xiaoyue raised her arm, activated the shoulder pole, which transformed into a rocket, dragging her swiftly away.

Xian'er and Xu Ni clung desperately to her hem, the long fish guard swayed like a dragon's tail behind them.

Wang Yun reached out, retrieved something from her bosom, and scattered it with a raised hand.

A golden net descended, ensnaring the shoulder pole and the trio.

Wang Yun formed a hand seal, murmuring: "Close!"

The golden net closed and sealed its opening.

Xian'er released Jiang Xiaoyue, squeezed out the last four Water Bomb Talismans from her sleeve, and tossed them without aiming.

Hastily triggered, the Water Bombs formed by the talismans varied in number, with the least amount being only one bomb.

From four talismans, a total of eight Water Bombs struck the golden net.

The net bulged from the impact, but nothing more, as the Water Bombs penetrated and vanished in the lake water.

"Hahaha!" The four laughed.

"These three are indeed fledglings!" The man without magic artifacts laughed, while forming hand seals.

The Water Shark suddenly shot forth, its water-made body allowing direct entry into the golden net, ruthlessly attacking the three.

Jiang Xiaoyue swung the shoulder pole.

The man without magic artifacts formed a gesture with two fingers, hooking upward, causing the charging Water Shark to dodge the pole, following the Dharma Seal.

The man without magic artifacts gestured downward, prompting the Water Shark to circle above the trio before diving down.

Jiang Xiaoyue swung the shoulder pole again, but the shark evaded once more.

"Hang in there!" Xu Ni bit into the fish guard, retrieved a Jade Bottle, removed the cork, and pulled out an Inkfish.

She squeezed the inkfish with both hands, like Earth's little firework, and the inkfish suddenly sprayed ink.

Whoosh!

Black ink quickly spread, filling the entire golden net, some seeping through the net's gaps.

"Fellow cultivator Jiang," Wang Yun spoke softly, "hand over the fish guard, or I'll close the net."

The man without magic artifacts swiftly changed the Dharma Seal, as the Water Shark dashed about within the black ink, drawing black lines.

Within the black ink, the three huddled in a corner.

"What do we do?" Xian'er gasped heavily.

She had Water Avoidance Talisman, Water Bomb Talisman, Hemostatic Talisman, Detecting Talisman, Featherweight Talisman — five kinds of talismans, the sole attacking Water Bomb Talisman had, due to capturing Silver Ring Snake, been mostly used, and the last four were just used.

"It's all my fault," she worried again, "if I hadn't used the four Water Bomb Talismans just now, at least they'd deal with the shark!"

"Don't panic, don't panic." Jiang Xiaoyue took deep breaths constantly, feeling thirst even in the water, "Now isn't the time for reflection, we need to think of a way to escape!"
