"You are the daughter of the Chairman of the Awakener's Association!?" I exclaimed, surprised. "Now I understand why brother shows so much respect to the Awakener's Association."
"No, it's not the primary reason," Sister Aisha insisted. "Aryan respects father because of father's nature."
I was about to ask for further details about the Chairman, but then the commentator spoke up, taking my attention.
"With a round of applause, welcome the S-Rank Awakeners of our country, who have arrived here to witness this historical battle!"
The camera switched to six people sitting on large chairs placed side by side in a VIP cabin open from the front.
The camera focused on the man sitting at the very right of the seats. He had orange-colored hair and eyes like the burning sun, and wore red-colored formal attire.
"Guildmaster of Crimson Hawk Guild—Flame Monarch Karan!"
After a loud cheer from the spectators, the camera slowly moved towards the left, introducing the next Awakener with long dark green hair, olive eyes, and a robe similar to what people of ancient China wore.
"Guildmaster of Green Viper Guild—Poison King Rajan!"
This time, the cheers of the spectators weren't as loud as before, and the people seemed more afraid than excited by seeing him. Realizing the people's reaction, the camera quickly moved to the next female Awakener wearing round eyeglasses, her short black hair styled into numerous braids. She wore a thigh-length formal skirt and shirt.
"Guildmaster of White Lotus Guild—Saintess Riya!"
The cheers once again turned louder—this time even louder than when Flame Monarch was introduced.
The next Awakener beside her had numerous tattoos on his muscular body. He was wearing a beach shirt, shorts, and slippers. His long hair was tied into a ponytail.
"Guildmaster of Almighty Trident Guild—Leviathan Rocky!"
After the welcoming cheers of the crowd, the camera turned left, revealing an Awakener who seemed the most normal out of them.
Short brown hair, a regular human-sized body, and a few white hairs in his stubble showcased his late 30s age.
"Guildmaster of Black Flux Guild—Magnetar!"
After the short introduction that felt boring and quite long to me, the camera finally moved to the last person. Neck-length blonde hair and a long, lion-like beard of the same color, muscular body, and wide forearms.
"Finally, the Awakener in whose territory this battle is occurring—Guildmaster of Thunder Lion Guild, Lion King Shershah!"
A roar of exclamations broke through the stadium the moment the commentator introduced Shershah.
"Lion King!"
"Lion King!"
"Lion King!"
"So he is the Awakener that let brother enter the A-Rank gate in his territory," I murmured, my gaze fixed on his humongous body.
"Indeed. He is a good friend of Aryan," Sister Aisha said.
Except Saya, all the remaining S-Rank Awakeners had come to witness this battle. I knew my brother had strong influence, but I had never thought that his battle could gather all the strongest Awakeners of India.
It made me curious about how exactly Aryan lived his life five years ago—that he was considered this formidable even though he was stuck at AAA-Rank.
When the crowd finally settled, the commentator began again.
"Now, let's welcome the spotlight of this event and the reason why we have all gathered today."
An iron gate on one side of the stadium slowly ascended, and a figure walked out.
"With a huge round of applause, please welcome the Guildmaster of Silver Sword Guild—Sword King Rudra!"
"Hah! That bastard is here!" I scoffed as his appearance became clear when he reached the open ground.
Unlike the casual clothes in which he met me, Rudra was wearing lightweight, shiny blue armor covering him from neck to toe. On his waist, the same blue-colored longsword rested.
"Sword King!"
"Sword King!"
"Sword King!"
Violent chants of the spectators echoed through the stadium, making me wonder if all the people were on Sword King's side despite his cruel actions being revealed to the world.
"Why do people still like him so much?" I asked, confused.
"He maintained himself as a reputable figure, and not even once did any scandal related to him get revealed to the public," Sister Aisha revealed. "Even though he almost killed you, most people still think that you must have offended him in a way that he couldn't stop himself from killing you."
Hearing Sister Aisha's words, I couldn't help but laugh.
"It's like he is running a cult of his own."
Rudra raised his hand, calming down the crowd, and once the stadium turned somewhat silent, he began.
"I always respected Blood Demon as a neighbor and rival, despite all the rumors surrounding him. Even when he barged into my territory with his full army, I didn't retaliate and let them go for old times' sake. In the interview, he demanded why, out of nowhere, I attacked his people. So let me reveal the reason behind my actions today."
The entire stadium turned pin-drop silent.
"What excuse is he going to come up with?" I wondered.
"The reason is him!" Rudra pointed his finger at me, making the camera shift to my face to let the entire world see.
"Raj Singh, younger brother of Blood Demon, from the moment he woke up from Mana Overload, used his powers to endanger the lives of common people."
Before he could speak further, the Chairman of the Awakener's Association spoke up, his voice calm yet reaching every ear in the stadium.
"Sword King! Behave yourself. You are aware of what a negative comment by someone of your status toward the targeted person would do. If you try to slander anyone further, then I must stop you from speaking."
The camera instantly shifted away from me and turned to Rudra. People in the stadium began murmuring, surprised to see the Chairman actually speaking up for someone.
"Honorable Dr. Reyaan, forgive me for my rudeness, but what I said is actually true," Rudra replied, a smirk tugging at his face.
"I have even brought proof to show the atrocious actions of Raj Singh to everyone present here."
The Chairman was about to speak again, but suddenly the video on the large display changed to the hospital where I was admitted. In the video, smoke was coming out from one of the hospital windows.
After a moment, the video changed to the inside of the room, where one part was covered in ice while the other part was half-burnt.
"This accident occurred at the Himalayan Hospital two weeks ago, but I'm sure none of you are aware of this incident," Rudra revealed. "This damage was caused by Mr. Raj, who was trying to show off his powers just a day after he woke up from his coma, endangering the lives of hundreds of patients inside the hospital. And the reason this didn't come out in the news is because the hospital is owned by Black Raven Guild, so Blood Demon instantly took care of his brother's blunder."
"Th-this bastard is prepared!" I muttered, surprised from the sudden video clip.
