Top-class Bodyguard

Chapter 455: Zero Point

Everyone in the Wind Mark Mercenary Corps had an inexplicable trust in Ren Feng. When Ren Feng successfully completed a mission in Spain with his team, he happened to meet K, who then wanted to join the Mercenary Corps.

After an assessment, K proved himself with his outstanding skills, and later on, many missions involving women were undertaken by this womanizer, who almost never failed to win over a woman.

The range of these women spanned the entire globe, from Western Europe to Huaxia, from Huaxia to India, and from India to America; there wasn't a single woman he couldn't conquer.

After joining the Mercenary Corps, K and Catherine were responsible for intelligence work, making Ren Feng trust them implicitly.

Ren Feng smiled faintly, "After we finish this drink, let's find everyone else. Since when have we, the Wind Mark, ever hidden like this?"

"Exactly, at the very least, we need to overthrow this so-called organization!" K looked somewhat excited.

"Do you have any information about the others?" Ren Feng asked.

"I know one." K spoke, "Zero has hidden in the slum now, the organization is sending people to search for him."

"Let's go."

Ren Feng stood up.

...

Every city has slums, and San Francisco is no exception. About twenty minutes from the city center, there is a slum on the outskirts with many homeless people gathered.

This slum is directly built in the forest, made of makeshift tents, filthy and chaotic, much like the garbage dumps of India.

People of various ethnicities live here, primarily blacks and yellows.

Inside a tent, a somewhat world-weary, approximately thirty-year-old man with sharp Huaxia features sat there, still cleaning an AWP-410 sniper rifle.

Beside him on the ground lay several handguns and grenades, all seized from those hunting him.

He took a drag of a makeshift cigarette and exhaled a puff of white smoke, his eyes gleaming with sharpness.

It's been three days; he's managed to hold off the enemy for so long. He wondered how the other members of Wind Mark were doing.

Zero, a special operations team member from Huaxia's Southwest Military Region, was forced into retirement due to sabotage, and later, after an exchange with Ren Feng during a South Asia border mission, he joined Wind Mark to become their most terrifying sniper!

His strength was roughly only at the early stage of the Transformation Realm, but with firearms in hand, his combat ability multiplied exponentially!

Skilled in modifying thermal weapons and installing bombs, he earned the nicknames King of Snipers and King of Firearms, after having once taken down hundreds of US SEALs in a mission single-handedly!

Zero is his code name, meaning that every time he pulls the trigger, it's always as precise as a clock strike at zero.

Moreover, after Ren Feng handed the True Qi cultivation technique to Zero, his shooting skills have reached the Transformation Realm, so much so that not even Ren Feng can compare.

In front of Zero was a thin line that suddenly began to tremble violently, causing his cleaning motion to halt as a cold gleam flashed in his eyes.

He packed all the equipment on the ground, then suddenly darted out from behind the tent.

Outside, more than twenty gene-modified experts were searching, casually lifting tents trying to find Zero.

"Damn it, such a good hider. It's been so many days, and he still hides so well."

A gene soldier cursed directly.

"It's different this time; we brought the military dogs."

Another person spoke up.

Several military dogs, each with a leash, sniffed a piece of clothing previously scraped off from Zero, and dashed towards a nearby mountain.

"Follow them!"

One person shouted loudly.

All the gene soldiers rushed toward the mountain.

"I see him, he's there!"

One gene soldier yelled out, everyone's attention shifted, and sure enough, amidst the faintly visible woods, there was a figure.

"Get down!"

Another gene soldier exclaimed, but it was too late; a bullet shot through in the blink of an eye.

A single bullet, and blood spurted!

The bullet pierced through his heart with precision, killing the gene soldier on the spot!

Having previously engaged them, Zero knew he had to target their vital parts to kill them, so each shot was aimed at their hearts.

"Suppress the fire!"

Someone screamed, and instantly, these gene soldiers pulled out their weapons and charged towards the mountain, opening fire as they advanced.

Da-da-da!

The sound of countless bullets resonated, shredding the foliage.

Police dogs were rushing up the mountain, with these gene soldiers close behind.

Zero's expression was extremely cold. As he moved swiftly, his eagle-like sharp eyes scanned the gene soldiers coming up.

Almost instantly, he raised his hand and fired a shot.

Bang!

A military dog charging ahead fell immediately!

"Quick, rush!" others shouted loudly.

Everyone charged up the mountain as Zero's trigger clicks echoed without pause.

Bang, bang, bang!

Three consecutive shots, and three more military dogs lay in pools of blood.

He understood clearly, these military dogs had to be taken out first, or there'd be no escape for him later.

The gene soldiers knew this too, and seeing only one dog left, one of them even stood protectively in front of it.

Zero's eyes were sharp and bright, as he ran rapidly, raising the sniper rifle and firing another shot behind him.

With that shot, the bullet pierced through the soldier's crotch and with remaining force shot at the dog!

Just like that, the bullet entered the dog's head, killing it instantly!

The gene soldiers were both shocked and furious, recklessly charging forward to prevent Zero's escape.

Their marksmanship was slightly better than ordinary soldiers, but nothing compared to Zero's terrifying precision, hitting one target per shot!

His shooting was too accurate, regardless of how they dodged, their bullets seemed to cling to them, hitting their hearts whether in the air or on the ground.

Even though they were in a group and Zero was alone, he easily suppressed these gene soldiers.

Zero's face remained cold. Watching them recklessly charge up, he continued to run up the hill. He was about to fire when suddenly he went pale—a bullet's gone.

After so many days of shooting, the sniper rifle's ammunition was finally spent.

At the same time, seeing Zero not fire, those gene soldiers rushed up rapidly, shouting, "He's out of bullets! He's out! Go get him!"

This line charged those gene soldiers up like injected with adrenaline, madly charging toward Zero!
