Renette looked in the direction of the Silver City and saw the golden clouds.

It reminded her of the old tales of Martial Gods who were born out of golden clouds and golden lightning.

"Someone is becoming Martial God?"

"Aaaaaaaaarfgh!"

Kiernan screamed, and below his feet, a golden cloud appeared, and he stood on it as if it were solid ground.

'Your time of judgment has arrived!'

A voice echoed from his mind.

It was an ancient, rough-sounding voice, like it was coming from the God Himself, and the golden clouds then crackled with gold lightning.

'Take them away. I'll join them shortly.'

Kiernan communicated with Fen.

Fen, in his Monster Wolf form, grabbed Julian and Jock and started running out of the Silver City.

They were invisible, but there was someone who was able to sense them, and with his hollow eye sockets, Anathema chased after them.

From the Silver City, the army of bodyguards—Black Knights—came alive and jumped towards the sky.

They weren't planning to let Kiernan become Martial God and were planning to stop his advancement for good!

"…"

A man with long orange hair had eyes like the sun, and at that moment, he turned into a massive dragon.

Sun Dragon, Mythologia!

"ROAR!"

Mythologia roared, shaking the world with his power.

Kiernan pointed two fingers towards the golden clouds, and in that moment, golden lightning pierced through the clouds.

The lightning struck Kiernan's fingers, and as if he were a lightning rod, he controlled the lightning and funneled it into his fist.

"Golden Lightning Rox!"

Kiernan stabbed his fingers forward, and from his fingers, the golden lightning shot out and engulfed Mythologia.

Mythologia was completely engulfed in a sea of golden lightning, and it didn't matter that he was a True God.

The tribulation lightning was the strongest thing there was.

The tribulation test was determined by the talent of the person undergoing it, and the more talent a person possessed, the stronger the tribulation lightning.

There was no greater talent than Kiernan, and thus, the tribulation lightning was even strong enough to kill True Gods!

Mythologia crashed into the ground below and crushed many "Red Ones" under his massive dragon body.

"This bastard is throwing the tribulation lightning!"

"How could he possibly control that?"

"This is what he has been planning? To use the tribulation lightning to kill us? This sneaky bastard!"

Kiernan kept throwing golden lightning at Black Knights, and whoever got hit got scorched to ash.

It didn't matter that their Queen could bring them alive if they didn't have a body to be revived in!

The skies turned angry.

More clouds appeared, and the lightning turned even stronger, as if the god were angry at Kiernan.

The tribulation lightning was a weapon of the gods, and it wasn't made for humans to use as they please.

Kiernan wasn't a god just yet!

THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!

Fen arrived back at the crashed ship, which was pretty much repaired, and he tossed Julian and Jock off his back.

"I'll go… get… the rest of… the prisoners!"

Fen spoke to them and started running back to the Silver City.

"What's going on? Where is Kiernan?"

Renette asked.

"…He is keeping every Black Knight busy, and I think he is currently undergoing a tribulation test!"

Julian said with a serious look on his face.

"…What are we going to do now? Go get him?"

Jock asked.

"Interesting what kind of vermin has managed to sneak all the way here. How did you manage that? Tell me."

A voice came from the sky.

With shocked expressions, Renette and they turned to the sky and saw a black-cloaked figure floating above them.

The figure was a skeleton holding a sniper, and their hearts dropped to the pit of their stomach.

"WE WERE FOLLOWED!"

Julian shouted.

"Ahhh!"

Renette's wings appeared from her back, and she attacked Anathema with her swords, but he just smacked her away effortlessly.

That simple-looking smack sent Renette crashing through the forest, and when she stopped, she was barely alive.

Her whole body was broken and bleeding profusely.

Anathema was True God—it was one of the highest ranks in the entire Martial Arts Pathway—with a single breath, he could kill all of them.

However, he didn't want to kill them just yet.

He had questions regarding their arrival here.

"The 30th Black Knight, Gaoh, has a special power that allows him to detect anyone coming through that mist of his.

"Which is why he is the guardian of Dead World's border, but since you made it here, he didn't detect you.

"You are the first one that he has failed to detect.

"How?"

Anathema asked.

"HOWL!"

At that moment, Fen showed up and swallowed Anathema whole.

BANG!

In that moment, Fen's stomach exploded from Anathema's black bullet, and he jumped out, covered in the monster wolf's saliva.

"…Disgusting creature."

Anathema said with a scoff.

Thump!

Fen dropped to the ground, and the light disappeared from his eyes. It was like he had died.

"Fen, no!"

Julian screamed.

However, at that moment, the destroyed stomach repaired itself, and the light returned back to Fen's eyes.

"HOOOWL!"

Fen jumped back to his feet and released atomic breath, which engulfed Anathema and sent him flying towards the faraway purple volcano.

"Hmph!"

Anathema destroyed the atomic breath with his fist and flew back to them, but in that moment, his whole body started crackling with golden lightning.

"Huh?"

"ANATHEMA!"

In that moment, he heard a rageful shout, and the golden lightning struck him down to the ground.

"Aghhhhhhhh…"

Anathema screamed in pain as the golden lightning kept smashing him into the ground, and slowly, his skeleton body started breaking!

He looked towards the sky and saw Kiernan, engulfed in golden lightning like a god, staring down at him with blue eyes.

Anathema tried lifting his Dark Sniper, but then the golden lightning destroyed it, and he coughed out blood.

"…Ah… Is this how death feels?"

He grinned and turned to ash.
