Wizard: Start with Biological Transformation to Grind Experience

Chapter 6: One Sword!

There was no earth-shattering power buildup, nor was there any lengthy and complicated spell chanting.

At the moment Lynch swung his arm, the Ifrid's Sword in his hand suddenly burst forth with a blinding brilliance akin to the sun! Within the sword seemed to be sealed a volcano on the verge of eruption, as vast and unparalleled Fire Element and the terrifying might of the Late Domain coalesced into a dark red sword aura, barely a yard wide but condensed to the extreme!

The moment the sword aura detached from the blade, the space ahead emitted a strained "sizzling" sound, as if it were being melted through by high temperature. It did not produce a whistling sound of cutting through the air; instead, it crossed dozens of miles in an instant with a silent and eerie posture, as if seeing spatial distance as nothing!

The next moment—

"Buzz… Boom!!!"

First, there was a brief, low hum as if energy had been compressed to its limit, and then the deafening explosion sound suddenly came!

The distant towering mountain, at the moment it came into contact with the dark red sword aura, was not cut or shattered. Instead, it was like ice thrown into a steel furnace, beginning to melt and vaporize silently from the point of contact!

A huge hollow, with edges in a molten state, appeared out of thin air in the middle of the mountain and quickly spread outward.

In just the time it takes to take a breath, the entire mountain peak, thousands of meters high, had its upper half vanished without a trace, as if it had never existed. Only a massive base with a red-hot bottom, lava flowing across, and suffocating heat and crystalline dust swirling in the air was left behind.

A sword's power, burning mountains and boiling seas!

Lynch hovered in the air, watching the terrifying scene caused by his casual strike, feeling the Ifrid's Sword in his hand still meekly conveying that world-destroying power, his eyes bursting with astonishing brilliance.

"Late Domain… it truly is worlds apart!"

He could clearly perceive that this sword strike contained not just the ultimate destructive power of flames, but also a trace of essence from Ivrefret, touching the Flame Rule's charm. It wasn't a simple accumulation of energy but carried certain "conceptual" erasure and transformation.

Lynch hovered in the air, the scorching wind carrying crystalline dust sweeping past him, bringing the sizzling sound from the distant mountain base where lava flowed. He looked down at the giant sword in his hand, interwoven with dark red and golden flames, feeling the vast power within enough to change the world's color. Amidst his surging emotions, an even hotter thought irresistibly emerged.

"Tsk tsk tsk, if Level 4 can have this kind of destructive power, what would Level 5 be like… the true Rule Level?"

"Rules…" he whispered these two words, his eyes sparkling with an unparalleled longing. It was a brand new realm, a qualitative change in the form of Strength, a control over the fundamental logic of the world. A single sword might no longer burn a mountain but directly modify the "existence" concept of that area, having the mountains be defined as "void" by the rules.

However, the burning desire lasted only briefly before being doused by the cold rain of reason. He knew better than anyone that the gap from Level 4 to Level 5, symbolizing the Rule Level, was not merely one level but an insurmountable difference, like a mortal trying to ascend to a God.

The core issue was no longer about the body's Activity.

Ivrefret's body had now fully "revived," with every cell brimming with destructive fiery energy. But to truly elevate the essence of this sword, stepping into the hall of rules, it must truly come to life—not just the body, but also the revival of a soul!

This was not a simple matter of inserting a soul into this powerful shell.

Ivrefret, as a former Fourth-tier Divine Life, its body was the embodiment of the Flame Rule. Inside its shell flowed a domineering, unparalleled Origin Power containing the Original Flame Law.

The level of this power was too high, too violent. A regular soul, even a soul of Domain Level strength, would be like snowflakes thrown into the sun, instantly assimilated, incinerated by that terrifying rule's high temperature, until completely obliterated, without leaving a trace.

To inject a soul into this body of rules, the soul itself must reach the corresponding level!

Only a soul aligned with rules can harness a body aligned with rules.

"A soul of the Fourth-tier Level..." Lynch murmured, frowning slightly.

This was nearly an unsolvable problem. Setting aside that Fourth-tier existences themselves are legendary, how precious and rare their souls were, looking throughout the Wizard World, one might be hard-pressed to find such.

Even if he had incredible luck and genuinely obtained a Fourth-tier soul, the subsequent transformation and compatibility would still be nearly impossible tasks.

He would need to undertake the most subtle and dangerous adjustments and transformations to the soul's structure itself, ensuring its energy frequency, attribute inclination, and even form of existence perfectly match Ivrefret's body aligned with the Flame Rule… The depth of knowledge and technical challenges involved far exceeded what he could currently reach, likely even those at the pinnacle within the Supreme Council would find it tricky.

"Take it slow!"

Lynch shook his head, forcefully suppressing the unrealistic greed and eagerness in his heart. He knew that some paths could not be taken hastily.

His gaze returned once more to the Ifrid's Sword in his hand, its heavy weight and the terrifying power it contained felt incredibly real. A smile reappeared on his face, this time filled with satisfaction and pragmatism.

"The current Ifrid's Sword is already enough for me to traverse the Domain Level unhindered."

Of course, the Faith and goal of continuing to ascend must be maintained, but this was not something that could be accomplished overnight, nor should it be his sole pursuit now. The road ahead is long; enhancing his own Strength, exploring other Laws, all are of paramount importance.

"At the very least, I need to first gain the Strength to glimpse the rules before considering how to find it a deserving 'soul'."

With his mind set, the restlessness from longing for the rules gradually calmed down. He took a final deep look at the ruins of the distant molten mountain before lingering no longer. With a flash of the sword in his hand, his figure vanished from this test Space.

The future path is long, and what he must do is to keep his feet on the ground and take every step well.

...

At the same time, in the Broken Starry Sky.

Gulwige, who was meditating, suddenly opened his eyes and lightly swiped his finger in the air.

Immediately, the surrounding stars shifted, countless broken mirrors spun, and soon, one mirror floated in front of him.

In the mirror, Lynch's scenery appeared, and everything that happened over there fell completely into the gaze of this Star Speaker.

This left the wielder of Space Truth momentarily stunned, even a slight look of amazement appeared on his face.

"Ivrefret?"

He looked in amazement at the Great Sword in Lynch's hand, then at Lynch himself, somewhat dumbfoundedly saying, "This little fellow… just how many random things has he mastered..."
