"Don't worry, I'm not a cold-hearted person." Ye Xiao understood Chu Molin's thoughts, and knowing them, he wouldn't think he's wrong for what he did.

"I know." If Chu Molin thought Ye Xiao was cold-hearted, then he would've gone instead of Ye Xuan.

"I heard you used the car just now, is there something going on?" Ye Xiao wasn't trying to figure out Chu Molin's whereabouts but at such a crucial moment, given his relationship with Ye Xuan, he shouldn't be away.

"I went to see Xue'er and asked her to prepare some medicine for Ye Xuan. It's difficult to treat someone with altitude sickness without a physician accompanying them. There wasn't a doctor from the institute accompanying them this time." Chu Molin thought Liao Yifan would come to the institute, but he hadn't arrived, leaving it uncertain whether he didn't want to or had other matters, since he hadn't been seen yet.
