The nun who had been taking videos of the battle appeared from the shadows with a wide smile as she handed Jason the camera. Jason pat her on the head absentmindedly while looking through the video feed, and once he was done, he told her she did a good job.

"The video looks good. I'll send it to a friend of mine to edit, and I'll get a few more cameras so you and your subordinates can keep following the superhumans around."

The nun nodded before giving Jason an excited salute, and Jason just laughed as she vanished back into the shadows. Jason called on a few superhumans from his Legion and told them to take the corpses and Magic Crystals to the guild building, and Jason allowed them to work while he activated [King's Substitute] and left.

[Jason's Apartment]

[The Next Morning]

The rays of the morning sun bled through Jason's curtains and shone across Riyala's face softly. Riyala's eyes scrunched up in slight irritation at the sunrays, and she eventually began to open her eyes when it got too bright. Riyala blinked herself back to wakefulness, and she looked around in slight confusion as she wondered where she was. But slowly, the memories of last night began to filter back into Riyala's head, and Riyala's cheeks quickly reddened as she realized what had happened! She had sex with Jason! Riyala's hand immediately went to her stomach as she felt the throbbing sensation from last night's intensity, and she felt the stupidest smile spreading on her lips at that moment! She couldn't believe they finally got this far in their relationship.

Riyala quickly looked around for Jason but she was surprised when she didn't see him there. Where was he—?

Ka-Cha!

"Hey, you're awake already? That's good."

Jason's voice came from the door as he walked into the room, and Riyala turned to him quickly! Jason was wearing a black singlet and a pair of joggers, and his hair was dripping with water to show that he had just finished taking his bath. The moment Riyala laid eyes on him, she felt her heart rate speed up to an insane pace, and her cheeks grew redder as she pulled her blanket up to her chin and ducked her head. Jason smiled at Riyala's embarrassment, and he showed her the plate of steak in his hand.

"I figured you'd be hungry after last night, so here you go. How are you feeling?"

Jason sat down at the edge of the bed while handing the plate to Riyala, and Riyala collected it with a nervous smile before shaking her head at Jason's question and saying that she was fine. Riyala couldn't even try to look up at Jason at this moment, and she felt like any sudden movement would make her fucking heart explode! She still remembered how things had gone with Jason last night, and she knew that she had been acting like an animal in heat! She even begged Jason to fuck her harder! Riyala felt her entire head heating up, and smoke began to rise from her cheeks as all those memories came to her! She was so damn embarrassed!

Jason hummed as he noticed Riyala's nervousness, and he reached forward and touched her red cheek softly. Riyala looked up at him with a small gasp, and Jason leaned down to kiss her.

"Mmh~"

Riyala's eyes widened at the sudden action, but it wasn't long before she closed her eyes and kissed Jason back! She leaned into Jason and put a hand around Jason's neck to deepen the kiss, and she let out a small moan as she felt more heat pooling in her stomach! She wrapped both hands around Jason's neck and pressed her chest into his own as she tried to pull him on top of her, and they both enjoyed the kiss for a few more seconds before Jason pulled back with a small smile. Riyala pressed her forehead into Jason's own while breathing heavily, and Jason heard her chuckle happily.

"Hehehehe. I can't believe this is happening. I'm so happy, I feel like I could die."

Jason smiled, and he playfully told Riyala to please not die, and Riyala couldn't help but laugh at this. Jason kissed Riyala's smiling lips before he finally stood up and told her to eat.

"You're heading back to Radagan later, right? I need to go for a meeting, but I could drop you off at the Dimensional Tear if you want."

Jason began moving to grab a change of clothes as he said this, and Riyala told Jason that she would love that. Jason hummed in response, and Riyala smiled as she watched him put on a t-shirt. Riyala began to scarf down the food quickly, but Riyala suddenly remembered that she hadn't spoken to Gina yet. Riyala's cheeks reddened even more as she thought about meeting with Gina and Mira! They both knew that Riyala had come here to seduce Jason, so there was no doubt that they would have a lot of questions for her when she got back! Riyala put her hand up to her cheek and let out a shaky breath, but she was still smiling even as she thought about this. She knew she would have to face them eventually, so she decided to just get it done! Riyala asked Jason if they could go to his mom's house to see Gina and Mira before they left, and Jason's face soured a little. Jason was now wearing a t-shirt and a pair of black slacks, and Riyala watched him curiously as he put his hand in his pocket and said that they could go see Mira, but Gina wasn't home right now.

"Something happened with her and my sister last night. She was planning to leave without telling us, but Gina managed to talk her out of it. Gina's going to another city today to help my sister pick up her stuff from her ex-boyfriend's place."

Riyala blinked in surprise at the concept of an 'ex' boyfriend, and she wondered how it worked. So it was possible for a human to leave their partners after choosing them? Riyala's entire face soured at the mere thought of leaving the man that she had chosen, but she decided not to let that get to her since she knew that Radagan and Earth were very different. She couldn't use the same concepts to define the two worlds.

But Riyala was even more surprised by the fact that Jason's sister had been planning to run away. And the way Jason spoke about it made it seem like it was something that had already happened before. Riyala knew that she was new to the family, so she didn't know enough to really get involved in their drama, but the one thing she knew was that leaving your family behind wasn't something a sensible person would do!

'And she left them for someone that became her 'ex'? What sort of family member does this?'

Jason finished fixing up his t-shirt, and he leaned down and kissed Riyala before telling her not to bother about these things. Jason could see that her mind was racing, but Jason had already stopped caring about his sister a long time ago, so he didn't want Riyala to bother herself either. Riyala nodded sliwly and Jason smiled again as he continued getting ready. Even though Jason told Riyala not to bother with Janet, he couldn't stop his mind from going through the conversation that he had with Gina just a few minutes ago. Apparently, Gina had spoken to Janet throughout last night about what she was going to do next, and Gina had somehow managed to set Janet straight and tell her that what she was doing was stupid. Jason wasn't really interested in what decision Janet took last night, but he couldn't deny that he was proud of Gina for going out of her way to help Janet come to her senses. After their conversation, Janet begged Gina to come with her to Los Angeles to help her pick up her things from her boyfriend's place since she couldn't face him alone, and since Gina was far too kind to refuse, that was how they ended up here.
