Strongest Necromancer System

Chapter 464: This is the Limit

Maya was bothering Jason so much that Mira or Gina had to start pulling her away from Jason whenever he told them that he needed to focus, and the only time Jason gave in to Maya's demands was when he allowed her to straddle him so he could put a particularly delicate rune on her neck that needed her to stay still for a long period. Maya had almost fainted from a nosebleed during that time, and Jason just laughed at her dramatics.

Azrael had also been working on some of the more complicated runes during this time, and Jason was thankful for Azrael's vast knowledge of defensive runes. According to Azrael, a lot of the runes that they were creating now wouldn't be useful against powerhouses in the Tital-Rank at all, but they would stand up to SSS-Ranks for a few seconds and perform very well against anything from SS-Rank and below. This would give Jason's subordinates more than enough time to come and take care of the attacker themselves! Jason was mainly creating these runes to protect his sisters from any attacker here on Earth, so he was satisfied with what they had. A few of the runes that Jason used that day included:

[Crown of Jarkata]: A Third-Grade defensive rune that blocks mental attacks

[Frier's Web]: A Fourth-Grade defensive rune that blocks physical attacks

[Mana Mirror]: A Fourth-Grade attack rune that could deflect up to five direct magical attacks below SS-Rank

[Warden's Privilege]: A Third-Grade defensive rune that blocks any teleportation skill

[Bird of Ruvin]: A Third-Grade defensive rune that detects and blocks all ranged attacks

Jason had also placed the [Ryonga's Shield] runes on all of them as well as other lower-ranking runes just to make sure that they wouldn't have to worry about any attack that was up to high-level SS-Rank or low-level SSS-Rank! Agiel herself could send an attack at any of them and they wouldn't even feel it! Most of the high-level runes that Jason used had been created by Azrael. Jason was still only a beginner Runecrafter, so there was no way he would be able to create a rune that was in the Third Grade properly. Jason had focused on making the Fourth-Grade runes, and he left the Third-Grade and all of the other more complex grades to Azrael.

Once he was done with this, Jason watched as Maya gushed and squealed over the "tattoos" that Jason had drawn on them. Jason could see how Mira's face squeezed in slight disapproval when Maya said the tattoos were cool, and Jason couldn't help but laugh when Mira started asking if there wasn't a way to make the runes invisible. Most of the runes on Janet and Maya were on their back or necks, so even though no one would see most of them, there would eventually be someone observant enough to pick out the black ink. But Jason knew that it didn't matter, and he just told Mira that he would try to come up with a way to hide the runes later. While his sisters and mother were still going back and forth about the runes, Jason heard a voice echo in his head.

'Have you figured out how to access Evon's memories, babe?'

Jason turned to look at Gina, and he could see that she had a serious look on her face as she watched him from the couch. Jason let out a calm sigh before standing and going to sit beside her, and he told her that he was still looking into it. Jason had resurrected both Evon and Yuslev after the battle at the Los Angeles Bridge earlier.

This is what Yuslev's tab looked like after the resurrection. Yuslev's resurrection had given Jason a lot more information about the New Order cult and their locations, and Jason was able to use that to track down the rest of the New Order with his subordinates. Jason was currently making sure that the New Order would never emerge again, but it was the information that Jason got from Evon's memories that had really shocked him. Jason already knew that Evon had not always been mad. The entire reason why Evon had gone mad was because she had suffered the same mental attacks that Jason had gone through, and unlike Jason, Evon didn't have the mental strength to hold on long enough to find a way to block the attack. Evon had fallen to the voices, and she became a mad slave whose only purpose was to find the other Attributes of the [Lord of Shadows] Arcane Art.

After resurrecting Evon, Evon had appeared as one of Jason's subordinates in a sane form that had all the abilities that she possessed before becoming the Mad Evon. She stood tall like a general from an army with her spear, and there was a dangerous glint in her eyes that told Jason that she was ready to go out into battle at any moment!

The user has resurrected [1] Rook Rank III Demon Subordinate

+35,000 MP

+0.2% Strength

+0.3% Stamina

+1.5% Agility

+0.3% Durability

The user has gained the SS-Rank skill [Time Dilation]

——

Time Dilation: This skill allows the user to manipulate his perception of time to slow down the movement of everything around him for [5] seconds. This skill is activated by sending an extreme amount of mana into the user's brain and muscles to speed up their function and reaction time, and this will give the user the benefit of a few extra seconds, which could determine the outcome of a battle. But the system advises the user to practice and train this skill consistently in order to grow a tolerance for the strain that will be accumulated. If pushed too far, the user could suffer muscle and brain rupture while using the skill.

This skill is not evolvable.

This was what Evon's system tab looked like after the resurrection, and Jason was shocked to see that she was even more powerful than Gina. But after thinking about it, Jason realised it wasn't that surprising. The only reason why Evon had seemed so weak before was because she wasn't in her right senses. Evon was a general in an army and one of the most powerful fighters there, so it was only normal that she would be at least this strong without the madness holding her back. Jason had also gotten the [Time Dilation] skill that Evon had been using in the [Land of Lost Shadows], and Jason was a little shocked to see that he could only use the skill for five seconds at a time.

'Hold on, did Evon ever use her skill for longer than five seconds?'

Jason tried to remember if he saw Evon using the [Time Dilation] for longer than five seconds, and he realised that he didn't see her using it for a long time. Evon only used the skill for short periods at a time, and she never went beyond five seconds. After becoming his subordinate, Evon told Jason that since she was born, she had to train seriously just to make sure her body could withstand the strain of the [Time Dilation], but no matter how much she trained, her skill would automatically turn off once five seconds had passed.
