A deep, rumbling sound, like the bellow of a mighty deep-sea creature, echoed through the entire world, and Jason cursed as he realised that the beast was about to emerge from the Tear!

'Jason! Jason, are you okay!?'

Gina's worried voice echoed out from their mental connection and Jason just grunted back at her as he tried to focus! Jason began to release a steady stream of mana from his body to counter the intense winds that were blowing around him, and he felt the wind reduce in intensity so that he could see what was happening in front of him more clearly! Jason knew that he wasn't the reason why this monster was here! Jason didn't have any rabbits screaming around him, and he hadn't been making any noise at all when travelling, so Jason was sure that the beast had been attracted by the Machina's actions! Jason couldn't help but curse those fools for their stupidity!

Jason immediately let a small stream of fire escape his mouth to heat his body a little before he crouched and began to run in the opposite direction from where the screeching was coming from! Jason knew that this was a long shot, but right now, he could only hope that the beast was only going to focus its attention on the rabbits that called it here! Even with the intense typhoon swirling across the world, Jason could still hear the loud screech from the Siren Rabbits, so he hoped the Beast would move in that direction! If that happened, then Jason could just allow the Machina to suffer for their actions, and Jason could circle around and leave this world without any incidents! But even as he ran, Jason didn't dare to tear his eyes away from the Dimensional Tear as he anticipated what was going to be coming through!

The winds intensified even more as the beast's mana poured out from its body, and Jason felt a powerful aura from the beast pressing down on the entire world like a blanket of pure dread! Unlike Jason, who always kept a tight leash on his mana and made sure it didn't spread out all the time, the Beast didn't have any such restraint, and so the powerful TITAN-level mana simply flowed out from its body freely and fed the wind with enough energy to last for as long as it wanted!

Jason took in a breath and let it out slowly. He was still running around the beast at a quick pace, but Jason was trying his best to be careful so that the beast wouldn't notice him! The beast looked up towards the area where the rabbits were screeching the loudest and Jason almost felt relief spread through his heart when he thought that the beast was about to begin heading towards the Machina! But Jason had seriously underestimated just how dangerous of a monster the Beast of the Apocalypse was!

People have always been confused about the origins of the Beast of the Apocalypse! Many researchers and adventurers who knew about the beast thought that it was a Magical Creature that had gained too much power and was trying to assert dominance by taking out a part of the Primordial Expanse as its territory. But those people were wrong! The Beast of the Apocalypse had been born from the collective despair experienced by those who died in the Eternal Winters that existed all across the Primordial Expanse! It was a creature that was one with nature, and the chilling cold was an extension of itself! It didn't feel any form of possessiveness or vindication that pushed it to take entire worlds as its territories! The Beast of the Apocalypse had simply been doing all this because that was its nature! It was a beast born to take control and subject entire worlds to despair, so it had simply followed its natural instinct for destruction and moved forward without any form of emotions attached to its actions! But the one thing that the Beast of the Apocalypse hated more than anything else was to be challenged within its own territory! Just like the chilling cold of winter would try its best to beat down and kill even the most powerful men with its piercing chill, the Beast of the Apocalypse couldn't tolerate anything remaining alive within its world! It was a creature that would do everything in its power to kill and destroy. And that was simply its nature.

So the moment the beast appeared in this world, it immediately realised that there was only one creature that posed any form of threat to it! Everyone else in this world would be killed by the chilling cold, but there was one who was withstanding its chill! There was someone in this world who dared not to die!

The Beast turned its massive head towards the left, and Jason felt an intense shock pass through his heart as he locked eyes with the glowing white gaze of the Beast!
