The [Arrow of the Lightning God] rune was extremely difficult to draw, so there were only about five people in the entire Primordial Expanse who had enough knowledge to complete the Rune Formation, and it turns out that Azrael was one of those people!

'But there's an issue, my king. For a Rune like that, I'll need the Beast to stand still for more than thirty seconds at least. But from what I've seen, it's not going to be easy to keep it in one place for any amount of time!'

Azrael's voice echoed through Jason's mind, and Jason watched as the giant beast tried to swat Trigon out of the air! Trigon just managed to dodge the beast's swing by a mere millimetre, and it circled around and began to flap its wings in the beast's face to try and distract it further! Jason shouted back to Azrael that he didn't need to worry about anything else!

'Just draw the Rune and make sure it's as strong as possible. Let me worry about everything else. How long do you need?'

'Five minutes, my king.'

Azrael answered back immediately, and Jason let out a harsh breath as he glared up at the giant monster before him. Five minutes of trying not to die against this bastard, eh? It didn't sound so bad at all! Jason told Azrael to go ahead and start, and Jason crouched before he began to run forward towards the giant beast!

'Ragnar!'

Jason shouted out to the dragon, and Ragnar appeared from the Alternate Dimension with a loud roar! The intense wind quickly slammed into the dragon and tried to push it back, but Ragnar fought against it and launched itself forward with a mighty beat of its wings! The Beast let out another massive bellow when it saw Ragnar flying towards it, and Jason grinned when the Beast raised its legs to try and kick Ragnar, and Ragnar just tucked its wings in and used the loss of momentum to drop to the ground below and avoid the intense kick!

WOOOSSHHH!

The speed of the kick caused an intense wind to blow around them, and Jason knew without a doubt that if Ragnar had been hit by that, then he would have died all over again! But that momentary distraction was all Jason needed as he called on another Bishop Rank subordinate! Braga, the former General of the Machina Army, appeared in the air behind the Beast's head with both hands pointed towards the beast, and once Jason gave the command, he immediately activated the Bishop Rank unique skill [Mana Blast]!

[Mana Blast] was a skill that allowed a Bishop to unleash 200% of its attack power in one massive attack! And from what Jason had noticed about the Machina, their weapons had been built in a way that allowed them to unleash attacks that could harm even those who were one or two ranks higher than them! Jason was already a TITAN, but Braga had been able to cause some pain using his cannon blasters, even though he was only an SSS-Rank! So Jason knew that the moment Braga used [Mana Blast] together with his already overpowered Cannon Blasters, there was no way the Beast was going to get out unharmed!

KA-BOOOOMMM!!

Braga's cannons exploded with power as he activated the skill, and a massive blast of pure energy flew out and slammed into the nape of the unsuspecting monster! The beast let out a loud bellow of anger once it felt the attack on its neck, and it actually stumbled forward and had to catch itself on one foot so it wouldn't fall over! Jason grinned as he watched this happen, and he quickly sent a message to Braga when he saw the beast pull its arm back for a wild swing! Braga quickly ran back into the Alternate Dimension just as the Beast's massive swing flashed across his previous position, and Jason shouted for Trigon to launch its own attack!

[Mana Blast]!!

ROARRRR!!

BOOOOMMM!!!

Trigon immediately unleashed an intense blast of mana that tore through the air and slammed into the side of the beast's head, and this time, Jason heard the Beast scream out in pain as it stumbled forward multiple times from the fiery explosion! The beautiful thing about the [Mana Blast] skill wasn't just the fact that it allowed a subordinate to unleash two hundred percent of its actual attack power, but after an opponent is hit with a [Mana Blast], their defences would drop by one rank for the next five minutes, and that meant that any other attack carried out in those five minutes would cause nearly four times as much damage to the opponent! Right now, the Beast of the Apocalypse was a TITAN Rank II with the defences of a TITAN Rank I! But even with the intense amount of damage that the attack had caused, Jason cursed when he saw the Beast's hand blur as it swung towards Trigon! Trigon quickly tried to retreat into the Alternate Dimension, but the Beast just managed to clip its wing before it could vanish, and Jason heard Trigon roar out in pain from within the Alternate Dimension! Jason told Trigon to quickly use [Self Heal] on itself, and Jason refocused on the beast again!

Jason knew that hit-and-run tactics weren't the best way to deal with any enemy, but right now, this was the most reasonable tactic he could use to defeat this beast. The Beast was too strong for any of his subordinates to handle, and Jason needed to preserve his own strength for later, so he was going to keep on pulling the monster around using this hit-and-run tactic until Azrael's rune was ready! Jason sent a command for Ragnar to prepare its own [Mana Blast], and at the same time, he told Braga to get its cannons ready again! Jason was still moving through the intense winds of the typhoon since he knew that staying in one place was only going to make it easier for the Beast to find him, but Jason was shocked when the Beast suddenly crouched into a defensive stance with its hands over its head. For a moment, Jason thought that the Beast was trying to protect itself from the next attack that was coming, but it wasn't long before Jason realised that he was wrong!

The winds began to swirl at an even greater velocity as they gathered around the beast, and Jason felt his eyes widen as he saw various sharp ice shards growing out from the Beast's skin like needles! Jason quickly shouted for Ragnar to return to the Alternate Dimension as he realised that the beast was about to unleash an AOE attack, and Jason called on multiple Rook Rank III subordinates and told them to activate [Great Wall] right in front of him! The Rooks quickly did as they were told, and the massive Great Wall rose defensively! Jason quickly activated multiple defensive artefacts as extra protection, and at the next moment, the beast immediately rose to its feet and swung its arms outwards with a massive bellow!

BUUUUOOOOOHHHH!!!

The ice shards that had been growing out from the Beast's skin suddenly shot out in every direction like millions of supersonic needles, and Jason watched in shock as they easily eradicated the Great Wall in front of him! The Rooks that had formed the Great Wall were all on the same level as SS-Ranks, so the Great Wall was at least strong enough to stop one attack from Jason, who was on a TITAN Rank! But they didn't stand any chance at all against the intense speed and power from a TITAN Rank II like the Beast! The Great Wall shattered into millions of pieces, and the Rooks were immediately decimated by the ice shards before the shards quickly flew straight towards Jason!
