Jason added even more power to his flight, and he felt some ice shards growing on his face as the cold wind froze on his face! Azrael was standing on top of a large snow dune with its staff raised in the air as it prepared to activate the rune, and Jason could see the large circular rune etched into the ground just a few feet away from Azrael! Jason quickly raced towards where it was and heard the Beast following after him with a loud bellow!

Jason reached the rune and flew past it before he turned around, and his grin widened as he saw that the beast had stretched out its hand towards him to try and grab him out of the air! The beast's eyes were wide with maniacal anger, and Jason could see that its face was set in a sneer of pure hatred! It was obvious that Jason had given the Beast one hell of a fight, and the Beast was only focused on trying to kill Jason right now! But Jason wasn't going to go down that easily! Just as the beast was about to grab Jason, Jason put a hand forward, and the entire world seemed to crawl into slow motion as Jason activated [Time Dilation]! The beast seemed to freeze in time, and the winds slowed into a gentle breeze as Jason began to perceive the world at an extremely quicker rate, and Jason didn't waste any time as he activated his Arcane Art!

[Land of Living Shadows] has been activated!

A burst of shadows suddenly erupted from around Jason, and Jason could see the look of shock coming over the Beast's face as the dark shadows wrapped its obsidian claws around both of them and transported them into Jason's pocket dimension!

The Beast landed in the murky waters of the shadow world, and it stumbled forward before looking around with a confused expression. It grunted in annoyance as it didn't see anything around it, but its gaze was suddenly pulled up as it noticed Jason standing on top of a giant hill on the other side of the shadow world! The large white sun behind Jason writhed with mysterious power, and Jason's eyes narrowed into a glare as he raised his hand and summoned all of his subordinates!

Thousands of subordinates walked out from the Alternate Dimension and surrounded the Beast, and even more shadow subordinates rose from the murky water of the shadow world as they followed Jason's command! Outside the shadow world, Jason could feel as Azrael began to push mana into the large rune that he had etched into the ground! Jason's [Land of Living Shadows] allowed Jason to pull any enemy he wanted into the shadow world, but Jason had learned that even though they could move around freely within this world, their bodies in the real world were stuck in one place, and they would remain there until they reappeared in the real world! So right now, the Beast was stuck within the Rune that Azrael had crafted, and that was why Azrael could begin the activation ritual!

'Thirty seconds. I just have to hold it here for thirty seconds.'

Jason narrowed his eyes at the beast, and he felt his entire world shake down to its core as the Beast released a massive bellowing roar towards him. The Beast quickly began to run at Jason, and Jason ordered his subordinates to stop it! The subordinates immediately unleashed all of their attacks at the same time! The Bishops used their [Mana Blast], and the Rooks started to commit suicide as they used [Kamikaze] to deal as much damage as possible to the giant beast! Even though none of these attacks were enough to stop its advance, they slowly began to push the beast back away from Jason! Jason pulled out the raygun from beside him, and he quickly unleashed another blast of pure energy that flew through the air and slammed into the Beast!

BOOOM!

The Beast roared in anger as it felt the searing pain from the raygun, and it suddenly unleashed a massive pulse of mana that shot through the region! Jason felt the shadow world shake from the intense energy as the beast began to overwhelm it with its mana, and Jason was shocked when the mana continued to rise in intensity! The Beast's roar echoed through the air like the cry of a raging beast, and its mana tore through Jason's shadows without any effort at all!

Outside in the real world, cracks began to show on the surface of the large black ball that held Jason and the Beast, and in the next moment, the entire shadow world erupted with a sonic boom as the Beast forced itself free from that prison! Although the Arcane Arts were skills that didn't require the use of mana at all, they were still a form of power that could interact with the real world, and so long as there was a form of power that surpassed even the power of the Arcane Art, then there was no way the Arcane Art would be able to stand against it! If Jason had been holding the full power of the [Lord of Shadows] Arcane Art and he had all three Attributes that made up the Arcane Art, then it would have been far more difficult for the Beast to destroy his world, but at the current level, the world stood no chance!

But luckily for Jason, even though the Beast was able to destroy the world fairly easily and reappear in the real world, it still landed on the ground in the exact spot where Azrael had crafted the rune, and these few seconds were all that Azrael needed to complete the rune and activate it!

A bright blue light shone around the Beast as a massive runic circle came to life, and the sky began to darken as a massive storm cloud gathered overhead! The winds blew with even more force than before, and even the beast was forced to raise its hands up to block its face as the intense winds nearly threatened to blind it! Static travelled across the air, and the world shook with power as Azrael poured his mana into the rune! Azrael brought his staff down and slammed it into the ground, and at the next moment, the rune came to life!

[Arrow of the Lightning God]!!

BBBBZZZTTTTT!!

It was like Zeus himself had unleashed his fury upon this world! A massive bolt of pure lightning suddenly shot up from the runic circle, and the Beast let out a cry of intense pain as the lightning tore through its body! The lightning travelled up into the sky and lit up the world with a massive column of blue power, and the entire world seemed to stand still as the scream of the beast echoed through it! This continued for the next few seconds as the rune slowly began to lose power, and it wasn't until more than ten seconds had passed that the rune finally died down and the blue column of pure lightning faded away! The beast's burnt and smoking body was revealed once the lightning passed, and it stumbled forward and fell to one knee as smoke rose from the multiple wounds it had received! The beast was covered in burns and cuts all across its body, and its long hair had turned a darker shade of brown from the intense lightning! But if you looked close enough, anyone would be able to tell that the beast was already starting to heal! The cuts were starting to close, and the burns were slowly beginning to vanish from its body! But Jason wasn't finished just yet!
