A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1603: I Like Her Glasses

Archer and Alexa spent hours together, thanks to Time Warp, which gave them plenty of time together. After the lovemaking stopped and they were fully rested, only an hour had passed in the real world. This shocked the young woman who was busy staring at the translucent barrier.

''So this is magic that you can do all the time?'' she questioned. ''Doesn't it drain you?''

''Yes, it comes naturally to me, but to answer your question, it does if I use too much at once. Like protecting Florida from a storm or Draconia from attack,'' he responded, pouring them some tea that he had made some time ago. ''Here, drink this, it will keep you warm.''

Alexa approached, taking the cup with a smile. ''Thank you, Arch. This smells delicious already.''

''I made it from tea leaves that come from Avidia,'' he revealed.

When the navy-haired woman heard this, her green eyes lit up with fascination as she continued questioning. ''So you control that place?''

''Yes, two of my wives are from there. Embera and Malakia,'' Archer answered. ''I need to see her and Colestah when the time's right.''

''Are those the Fire and Water Elves?'' she inquired. ''And Malakia's Nala's grandmother, correct?''

''That's them, they are my newest wives but haven't seen much of them thanks to being busy.''

Alexa's face lit up as she suggested. ''Do you want to go? I can come with you, I'd like to meet the two, considering I've encountered everyone else thanks to Sia, including Lucrezia and Kassandra.''

Archer smiled at those names, chuckling with fondness. ''Those two are very antisocial when it comes to my new wives or women they hardly know.''

''Oh, the ladies informed me that they wouldn't have met me if I were another add-on, but when realizing I was your first love. Kassandra was interested.''

As the storm's fury mounted outside, the duo shared a hearty laugh over their steaming tea, the brew a small comfort. Archer's gaze lingered on the window, where sheets of rain hammered relentlessly, rattling the panes until the palace's shield hummed to life and deflected it.

When their cups lay empty, he raised a hand and, in a blink, they vanished, rematerializing amid the sun-scorched spires of Avidia's Fire Elf capital. But the only difference is that the city was covered in snow. This baffled him as the continent would've been hot, which was unusual.

Alexa shivered, complaining. ''Damn, it's cold. The girls were right, this seems to be getting worse.''

Archer chuckled at this and cast a shield around them, using his magic to heat the inside. The young woman beamed at that before taking his arm, smiling. ''I assume you brought me here to show me the city?''

''You're correct,'' he answered.

Following that, the duo started walking down the main street as people rushed into buildings to hide from the weather. He noticed Homeguards and Legionnaires patrolling, keeping the peace. The Fire Elves seemed to like them because the citizens greeted them whenever the soldiers passed by.

As they strolled through the bustling city, Alexa shared details about her work back on Earth, admitting that the pervasive automation by robots left her feeling unfulfilled. Archer, taken aback by this revelation, was still processing it when the gleaming palace gates came into view at the road's end.

Her eyes lit up with curiosity. ''Is that Embera's home?'' she asked, pointing ahead.

''Yes,'' he answered. ''Some of the harem choose to stay in their homelands, to continue ruling them''

''Aren't you the emperor?''

Archer chuckled. ''I am but their empresses that rule their peoples while my soldiers protect them,'' he explained.

After five minutes of walking, the two arrived outside, where Royal Fire Elf guards stopped them until they realized who he was. Seconds later, the commander knelt as he spoke respectfully. ''My Emperor, it's good to see you again. The empress is in her study, the last time I heard.''

''Thank you soldier,'' Archer replied.

The guards opened the gate, letting them through as the duo stepped into a snow-covered garden. He was shocked, and Alexa's eyes widened in shock, muttering. ''This place is beautiful, the way the flowers have frozen is so pretty.''

''I agree.''

Suddenly, Archer felt Embera approaching, putting a small smile on his face. A bright orange flame streaked across the sky, catching Alexa's attention, and moments later, a woman with fiery orange hair stood in front of them, her gorgeous face beaming as she greeted them. ''Husband! And I assume you're Alexa? Ella's told me about you.''

Alexa was confused; she shook her head and questioned. ''How do you know that?''

''The glasses,'' Embera giggled. ''No one but you wears them, even though Arch here could heal your eyes.''

''I like her glasses,'' he muttered.

Alexa glanced at him with wide green eyes, her smile grew wide. ''Really? Then I'll keep them.''

Archer couldn't help but be happy when Embera interrupted. ''So it is true, you're the first love of the infamous White Dragon, the way he looks at you says a lot.''

''What do you mean?'' the navy-haired woman questioned.

''It's so pure, it's admirable in such a chaotic world,'' the Fire Elf explained. ''But it's lovely to meet you, would you like to get some tea?''

The couple agreed, but Archer stepped forward and hugged Embera. The orange-haired beauty shivered in delight, melting into his embrace. Alexa watched this with a warm expression. Following that, the trio entered the palace and made their way toward one of the lounges.

When everyone was seated and comfortable, a Fire Elf maid stepped into the room and bowed. ''My empress, would you like me to bring some warm drinks?''

''Yes,'' Embera answered.

They continued talking as the orange-haired woman informed him that a small group of nobles was riling up crowds against them. Archer's eyebrow rose as a wicked smile stretched across his face. This caught the women's attention as Embera questioned. ''What are you planning?''

''Let them think they're winning,'' he revealed. ''I'll have some of my monsters track the culprits down, and when they're not expecting it, assassinate the leaders.''

The two women were shocked at his words, but Embera began laughing. ''That's a good idea, handsome. Will give those old fucks a shock.''

Alexa giggled at this and shook her head. ''You're devious, babe. They won't see it coming,'' she said.

''That's the plan, once people learn about it, they'll think twice about trying to overthrow one of my empresses,'' he expressed.

When Embera heard this, her face lit up as she suddenly lunged forward, hugging him tightly before her soft lips crashed into his. The two passionately kissed, sending a shock down his spine like an electric shock. While this happened, Alexa watched with a jealous expression, but it vanished thanks to realizing he still loved her.

Following that, they separated as the Fire Elf glanced at the navy-haired woman, but Aisha's alarmed voice echoed in his mind. 'Arch! Get to Orientia now! The Alliance are attacking with the undead!'

Archer grabbed Embera's and Alexa's hands as he spoke. ''Em, can you protect Lexi? The east is being attacked by an army of undead.''

The older woman's orange eyes widened in shock, but she instantly agreed. ''With my life, husband.''

He glanced at Alexa next. ''What you're about to witness will be a nightmare, just remember, and Embera are here to protect you.''

When the young woman heard his words, her face paled, but Archer reassured her. ''You'll be on a massive wall surrounded by Oathkeepers who'll die to protect you.''

Alexa visibly relaxed at his words before the three of them vanished and reappeared on the Eastern wall, where explosions and the horrible sound of moaning echoed across the battlefield. He summoned his wings, taking off instantly, only to notice a sea of Zombies, Ghouls, and other undead.

In the distance, Archer sensed someone on his power level, exciting him, but he needed to protect his new lands, causing him to mutter. ''Undead? You want true undead!''

Without waiting, he summoned Morena and Demacia. The sisters appeared in his arms, shocked. When they saw him, their faces lit up, and the duo kissed his cheeks, turning toward the incoming threat. The older of the two's blue eyes glowed with mana as she hissed. ''Useless weapons.''

She turned to him, determination etched on her face. ''Can I show them what true undead look like, husband?''

Archer nodded, descending toward the ground until they landed. The older woman stepped forward as a blue portal appeared behind them, and a dozen massive Tyrants stepped out. Their massive bodies and deadly aura stopped the enemy in their path, but Morena ordered in a voice full of malice. ''Show them what you can do and wipe every undead out!''

Moments later, the giant weapons charged forward, shaking the ground thanks to their size as they crashed into the enemy frontline. Massive fists crushed every Zombie that got in the way.
