A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1614: Do You Need Our Help?

Archer, Kassandra, Lucrezia and Demetra were led too a small palace built for them just inside the heavily guarded port, just as a storm descended on the city, causing people to rush home or into nearby buildings. Once inside, he slumped down in one of the comfortable chairs, sunking into the fluffy cushions.

The Demon Shark woman giggled at his reaction. ''Don't fall asleep, the others will be arriving soon,'' she said.

''I'm not,'' he replied, chuckling. ''I've been sleeping well lately, thanks to the women giving me the baby's and those little gremlins swamping me, all I feel is pinches throughout the night to make sure I'm still there.''

Demetra's yellow shark eyes lit up. ''How adorable, they love you so much,'' she said, beaming. ''I'm glad our baby's have a father like you, makes it different compared to how we grew up.''

''I see their growing bigger,'' Kassandra commented, putting her feet up near the fireplace. ''Especially Freya, she's getting smarter everyday.''

Archer laughed at this and nodded in agreement. ''Yes, time flies by and they will be my age when we met.''

The three women beamed at this before Lucrezia added. ''The boy's are adorable, they look like you but mixed with Nala and Nefi.''

''I know,'' he agreed.

Following that, alarms started blaring all across the city. Archer jumped up and sent a wave of mana across the southern part of Draconia to protect it from the Long Winters many disasters. His eyes widned when he realized a wave was heading straight for Sunfire City, making his heart race.

'Oh fuck, this will bad if it hits this place,' he thought, formulating a plan.

Without waiting Archer created a shield that covered the entire city, sucking out a great deal of mana, causing him to grit his teeth when pain suddenly hit him. Sweat drenched his body, alarming the three women. Lucrezia stepped forward, channeling a steady stream of mana into him.

The infusion eased his strain, but when the tsunami crashed against the barrier, it fractured under the force of mother nature. Still, the shield held just enough to redirect the waves, sparing the city. The waters were channeled the flood toward the farmland and mountains beyond.

When the people realized what had happened, a massive eruption of cheers echoed across Sunfire as Lucrezia looked at the other two and snapped. ''Come give him your mana! He needs it!''

As the women heard this they rushed forward and happily gave him every bit of energy they could. By the time the storm subsided, Archer dropped to one knee, breathing heavily as the world sent mana into his body, allowing him to struggle back into the chair, he felt the soft cushion he nearly fell asleep but kept himself awake.

He felt the mana returning to him which got rid of the pain, allowing him to relax as the city went back to the normal. Lucrezia fell in the chair nearby, covered in sweat, saying. ''Damn, you sucked me dry handsome, you owe me one.''

Archer chuckled and waved her away. ''I'll repay my debt, Luce. Let me catch my breath.''

Following that, the four of them waited for Aisha and Elara to arrive only for Kassandra to turn to him. ''Can you sing for us, Arch?''

''Huh?''

The others looked at the dark-haired woman who looked excited as she revealed. ''Nefertiti said he's got a beautiful voice.''

He couldn't help but smile. ''That was years ago, it's nothing special,'' he responded.

''Sing for us, husband,'' Aisha's soft voice sounded from behind them.

Archer let out a quiet breath, his gaze distant as he began to sing a song that had once captivated him on Earth. The familiar lyrics stirred a deep chord within him. ''I am a question to the world, not an answer to be heard...''

Kassandra's breath caught, her hands clasped tightly as his voice soared into the chorus. ''And I'm still here, and I'm still here…''

Each note was perfect, imbued with a yearning that mirrored the vast world they called home. Elara's red hair swayed, she leaned closer, eyes wide, as if the song had stirred something deep within her soul. Aisha, typically stoic, let her guarded expression soften, her lips parting in silent awe.

Demetra's fingers gripped the chairs, her yellow eyes glistening, while Lucrezia, unable to contain herself, let out a soft gasp, her hands pressed to her chest. The song's intensity built as Archer sang. ''And what do you think you'd understand? I'm a boy, no, I'm a man…''

His voice carried a raw strength, each word resonating with a clarity that seemed to pull the twin moons closer. The alien landscape, with its jagged cliffs and eerie glow, felt transformed, as if his music had woven a thread between this strange world and the Earth he'd left behind.

The women were utterly captivated, their silence proof to the magic of his voice. As he reached the bridge, his tone softened but held its power. ''You won't use me, I'm no puppet on a string…''

The defiance in the lyrics, though foreign to them, struck a chord, Lucrezia's red eyes sparkled with excitement, while Demetra's tears finally spilled over, tracing silent paths down her cheeks. Even the faint hum of the alien wind seemed to still, as if the planet itself paused to listen to Archer's performance.

When the final note faded Archer stood quiet, his chest rising and falling, his gaze fixed on the horizon. The silence that followed was heavy, charged with awe. Kassandra broke it first, her voice a whisper. ''What was that song?'' she asked, stepping closer. ''It felt, alive, like it carried your heart.''

Aisha nodded, her voice hushed. ''I've never heard anything so perfect. It's like you sang the stars themselves.''

Demetra, struggling to find words, murmured. ''How do you do that?"

Elara, bouncing on her heels, blurted. ''Please, Archer, sing it again!''

Archer gave a soft chuckle, the sound warm and grounding. ''That one's called I'm Still Here,'' he said, his voice still carrying that magnetic pull. ''It's a song from my childhood back on Earth.''

He glanced at each of them, their faces illuminated by the moons' glow, and added. ''Feels like it fits us here, doesn't it?''

Everyone agreed but he felt something inside him come to life, Archer's senses flared as a horde was attacking the eastern wall on Orientia causing him to teleport them all there. When they appeared on the wall he explained. ''Sorry about that, ladies. The Alliance hordes are pushing their luck with one last attack.''

''Do you need our help?'' Elara offered, blue eyes full of determination.

''Send me some mana through the tattoos,'' Archer answered, jumping up on the wall before grinning at the group. ''Now watch how strong I've got since last year.''

Following that, he jumped off the wall, summoning his wings and gliding toward the incoming swarm and landed in front of mutated humans rushing toward the eastern wall, making him smile as the creatures crashed into him. He was hitting each beast with a single punch, blowing them apart.

Blood and gore flew everywhere as he hit the horde,, causing the shockwaves to kill even more. While this happened the five women were watching from the wall, amazed at their husbands power.

Kassandra's lips curled into a teasing smirk as she glanced at Lucrezia. ''Still doubting how strong he's gotten?'' she asked, her voice laced with playful challenge as she nudged her friends shoulder.

The Death Witch blush deepened, her red eyes darting to the battlefield before snapping back to the Kraken Princess. ''I never doubted his strength,'' she retorted, her tone defensive but tinged with a sheepish smile. ''It's just, it's not every day you see one of the strongest dragons in the world sing like he could outshine any star on Verdantia. That voice of his, it shocked me, that's all.''

When the dark-haired woman heard this, she chuckled, her smirk softening into a knowing grin. ''Shocked you? It bewitched us all,'' she said, her voice dropping conspiratorially. ''Down there, he's a whirlwind of death, but singing like he's two men in one, warrior and poet.''

Aisha turned from the wall, her expression a mix of admiration and disbelief. ''It's unnatural,'' she murmured. ''No one should be that powerful and sing with a voice that makes your heart ache. It's not fair.''

Elara, breaking her silence, gave a rare nod of agreement. ''He's a paradox,'' she suddenly said. ''I've seen him cleave through enemies like they're nothing, but when he sang… it was like the whole world stopped to listen. Even this one,'' she added, tilting her head toward Demetra, who was practically vibrating with excitement.

The shark princess grinned, eyes sparkling as she leaned over, watching Archer destroy another wave of creatures with a single blow. ''He's incredible!'' she exclaimed. ''Did you see that? And when he hit that high note in the chorus, I thought I'd cry! How does he do it?''
