"No offense, but I was hoping to fight the other guy, he seemed more powerful. Still, based on what I've seen, you're plenty powerful yourself, so this should still be a decent challenge," Remarked Aurora, cracking her knuckles as she and Raven took their places in the arena.

"Yeah, I can't deny that he was definitely a lot stronger, I couldn't have beaten him in a fair fight. Well, so long as you don't try to kill me, I suppose I might as well try and enjoy this fight," Responded Raven, as the barrier formed around the arena.

"Likewise."

The two of them prepared themselves as the countdown began, eyeing each other intently as they waited to spring into action, a rising sense of anticipation welling up between the two of them.

The instant the countdown ended, Raven unleashed his full power with a roar of exertion, as Aurora crouched down on all fours, the shadowy, cat-shaped cloak of dark energy shrouding her body.

She extended out several shadowy tendrils and sent them shooting out towards Raven as he zipped up into the air, firing out a blazing wave of purple flames down towards her.

The darkness of her cloak intensified as the flames closed in and engulfed her, before a sharp burst of energy erupted around her, blowing the flames away, before she rapidly extended out the right arm of the shadowy cloak straight up towards Raven with immense speed.

He swiftly veered across the air, the shadowy claws grazing his side, before he fired out his piercing beams with concentrated intensity.

The beams collided against Aurora's shadowy cloak, before piercing through, grazing the top of her left shoulder as she quickly shuffled across to evade it.

She lifted her gaze as Raven swooped down towards her, the claws on his right hand extended out and coated in intense, crackling lightning, before he slashed at her head, slicing through her cloak.

She sprang back, narrowly evading the attack before she lunged forward with a sharp burst of force and drove her claws through the middle of Raven's stomach before he could react, eliciting a sharp wheeze of pain.

He gritted his teeth before grabbing her arm, electrocuting her as he generated lightning, before he quickly let go and backed away several paces as slicing tendrils extended out of her shadowy claws, whipping across at his head.

As he evaded the tendrils, he fired out a gust of tranquilizing mist, before Aurora swiftly let out a deafening roar and blew the mist away before it could engulf her.

She zipped towards Raven with immense speed, evading as he swiped his claws at her head, inflicting a deep gash across his right side as she shot past him.

As she slipped behind him, she leapt forward as he spun around, driving her left hand towards his chest.

He grabbed her wrist before her claws could reach him, before she swiped at his face with her other hand as he flung her away with a sharp flick of his wrist, a couple of shallow, diagonal cuts appearing across his face.

Aurora twisted her body across in mid-air to cancel out some of the momentum and regain her balance, before skidding back as her hands and feet hit the arena, letting out a slow exhale.

Raven shot up into the air, lightning erupting around his entire body as he swooped down towards Aurora, who crouched and leapt towards him as he closed in on her.

He inflicted a deep cut across her right shoulder as she gouged out a chunk of his side as they shot past each other, their wounds closing up as they swiftly spun around to face each other and lunged in.

They locked hands as they clashed, Aurora starting to push forth before stiffening sharply as Raven intensified the lightning around his hands.

A slicing shadowy tendril whipped across at Raven's head as he simultaneously drove his tail up and tilted his head back, his tail slamming onto the middle of Aurora's stomach as her tendril sliced across the bridge of his snout.

The pair drove their fists towards each other, a deafening boom echoing out as their fists collided against each other with a devastating impact, triggering an intense shockwave and pushing each other back along the arena.

They rushed in towards each other, continuing to clash at a relentless high intensity, trading powerful blows on relatively even footing, neither falling behind.

Cracks had spread out all across the arena, the entire stadium shaking and rumbling with every blow.

Before long, the both of them were winded, running low on energy and struggling to catch their breath. They were both completely locked into the battle, enjoying themselves immensely.

But neither could keep going for much longer, and they were well-aware of that fact.

Raven formed a fireball in his right hand, concentrating and intensifying it, lightning crackling around it.

Aurora focused the entirety of her shadowy cloak around her left hand, forming a dark, swirling lance.

Following a brief, tense pause, the two of them shot towards each other rapidly, driving their charged up attacks forward as they closed in on each other.

A devastating burst of heat and streaks of darkness erupted as they clashed and shot past each other, deep cracks spreading out across the arena at the point of impact.

Raven collapsed onto one knee, a chunk of the right side of his chest drilled through, his transformation receding, before he glanced back as a thud echoed out behind him, to see Aurora facedown on the floor.

Her left side was severely scorched, her skin crackling as charred bits of flesh fell off and crumbled, before she shakily rolled over onto her back with a strained sigh.

"I'm completely drained...I surrender," She uttered, as she stared up at the ceiling with a wistful smile, the burnt flesh falling off as she steadily regenerated.

"And that's the end of the tournament, the winner of the final is Raven Kyzer!"
