All the races took their respective seats, their aides and children were also around.
Adam was standing near a pillar right next to the window, he had crossed his arms and looked at the area with a calm expression.
The meeting would now begin.
The Dragon Emperor, Aurelion von Athelion spoke first. "First agenda of this meeting, the attack that occured in Silford Academy," he paused for a bit before continuing. "And proceeding with punishment and." His gaze turned to the elf, Eryndor. Who was now bound. "How to deal with the traitor before us, who wants to speak first?"
The stage was set, no one cared too much about the incident in the academy but that wouldn't be brushed aside either.
The main point of this meeting was to address the traitors that have been brought to light during the attack.
In the human kingdom it was:
Young Master Luke von Bazel, His Father The Duke.
This caused a big stir in the human kingdom when it was found out, a Duke who was supposed to be their protector, along with his son are both heretics.
The duke's case was not wanting his only son to die, even so he aided the traitorous son and even gave a guild master a fatal wound.
In the Elven Kingdom it was:
Crown Prince Eryndor von Velylis.
The elven race has always prided itself in being pure and superior, now one of their own has joined hands with the outer gods. And it wasn't just anyone, it was their crown prince.
When they heard this they felt embarrassment, anger and humiliating. All those decades and centuries of calling themselves 'pure' just blew up in their face.
The royal family also felt ashamed that they couldn't even feel that their own son has changed.
This also addressed one thing:
No matter how solid you think your defenses are, you might have a traitor among you.
"Isn't that a simple answer?" This was the Demon King, Vaelthos von Raevor. "A traitor should be executed, no matter who is." He said this with a grin.
Lythrienne heard this and shuddered, it's true a traitor should be tortured, have their info extracted and executed publicly. No mother would want their own child die. "Can't we be a bit lenient with the sentencing? He's still just a child—"
"A child, but still a traitor nonetheless," Malphas Rynn cut in. "If he wasn't captured sooner, who knows what more he could've done."
'The plan didn't work out, but if he dies I can just steal his body and turn it into a vessel' He thought to himself.
Bromdir looked at everyone while scratching his beard. "Hm, while it's true that the boy messed up. He's still a child of a world leader, we might as well show some face."
"That doesn't excuse his crimes," Caelum von Celestine spoke up. "Both by children almost died because of him, if it wasn't for Adam they would all have died, along with the other children of the other races."
Everyone turned their gaze to the Adam leaning against a pillar next to the window, his arms were crossed. When he felt the gazes of the other world leaders, he just turned his heard towards then slightly and just nodded.
'System seems like this conversation it's going to shift to me now."
[Well you did some impressive stuff during the raid, and now they know your true identity]
'True, I'll just stay quiet for now.'
[That's for the best.]
"Ah yes, The Dragon hiding amongst the humans," Vaelthos said with a grin. "What an interesting place to find a dragon, a young one at that."
Adam didn't flinch and just continued to listen to them talk.
"I have another option," The Elf King, finally spoke up. "We'll send him to 'Land Of Death' then."
The whole hall fell silence, even the demon king was surprised. Death would be better than sending someone to that cursed land.
The Land Of Death:
This place is an Island the size of a whole country, it's filled with monsters that range from A-rank and above.
That's where criminals who have been corrupted are sent.
This is basically a haven for all things dark, bad and corrupted.
No one comes back from this place Because they are either dead, become someone's experiment or gave in to the dark temptation and are now part of the land.
It's only recommend to go when your at least SS-rank and must have the company of an awakened who has the 'light' attribute, this is to ward off the corrupted mana that is in the air and also see through illusions.
And now a father was thinking of sending his own son to the land, death would be far more lenient than being sent there.
"Are you seriously saying you'll send your son to that place?" Aurelion asked.
"Yes," Eldarion replied immediately. "He'll try surviving at that place for two years, if he doesn't fall to corruption or doesn't die, I wish for his crimes to be forgiven if that time comes."
Everyone thought for a few moments before giving their answer, this was actually better.
They wanted to pressure the elves if they didn't agree with the crown prince being executed, being sent to the land of death is a death sentence itself.
Now the royal family of the elves will loose one gifted heir, and since the realm is about to open soon this was the best time to strike.
"Very well. Eryndor von Velylis shall be sentenced to the land of death for two years."
A faint hum echoed through the air and a seal appeared on Eryndor's chest.
"That seal will ensure that you go to the land of death, once you enter you'll not leave for two whole years. Your sentence shall be carried out the following year."
Everyone nodded fully agreeing to the decision.
"And now the following issue, Silford Academy's failure to properly manage to seal." Aurelion paused for a moment before continuing. "If they were able to learn about this earlier the beast wouldn't have been unsealed and no one would've died during the attack."
"Kyrexis has now come back, and you didn't tell us the moment you started seeing the signs." He gaze turned towards Caelum, the king of the humans. "Why is that?"
"The Headmaster, thought that he should keep this secret when they first started seeing the signs." He answered. "He wanted to know what their plan was and stop them, but things didn't go according to plan."
"The academy was breached, many cultists were already inside their walls. It couldn't be avoided no matter how hard we tried."
"We also sent out patrols and destroyed their ritual sites all over our boarders and thought we had them contained."
"But we were wrong and because of that, many of the students died in the attack." He was clenched his fists in frustration as he said this.
"All your saying is how you couldn't prevent this from happening," Eldarion cut in. "Your not tell us how you defenses breached and why couldn't search for cultists that were right inside your walls."
"You also failed at protecting your forest, Eldarion." Caelum shot back. "Your own son whom you live with, also fell to corruption. And only realized this after he killed a lot of people."
The Elf King fell silent after that and couldn't say anything else.
And this continued on for two whole hours, they were still talking about how to handle the issue with the academy.
They all also understood that many places might be holding cultists without them even knowing, but no one would say it out loud if it didn't align with their interests.
Yes even with a crisis right Infront of them, mortals would always prioritize their own needs rather than focusing on the danger coming for them.
Especially when they haven't lived through the old wars that have shaped this world, they think they will be able to fend of what their ancestors failed at.
And finally they were able to come at a decision:
The academy will be reconstructed, rebuilt and will have it's defenses reinforced.
Another thing is that all races will now be attending Silford Academy.
The academy won't be at the human continent anymore, but it shall be built on the mutual city in the very center of their borders.
"Okay now it's time for the final agenda for today," Aurelion stood up as he said this. "The 'Legacies' Realm is about to open next year."
Everyone was surprised, besides gates and dungeons a realm was something different and special.
The mana inside a realm is 10× more pure and dense than the one in their world, cultivating inside one you'll be able to increase your rank to the next rank if you train here.
This realm however is different, by going into old altars and temples you'll be able to gain an opportunity.
You mind be able to find a pill that will help you awake your physique or bloodline.
Another thing will be getting blessings from the old gods who have long perished and left their legacies inside their temples.
Waiting for a worthy successor to pass their trials and gain their Inheritance.
This is also a huge opportunity for every race since being able to awaken a Bloodline or even get a physique will have their strength jump to tremendous levels.
