Hearing this, the group had a look of realization on their faces.
They began practicing the Basic Sword Techniques again.
Whenever someone made a mistake, Aaron would strike them lightly with the stick and explain their error.
Of course, he added a touch of Knight Energy to make the correction just painful enough to remember.
Five days later. Nighttime, inside Aaron's tent.
Aaron sat with Rumba, the old chief Khumba, Melina, Kelly, and Torvald gathered before him.
He began, "Tomorrow morning, I'll be leaving for the Wizard World. Miss Elisa has already informed me about the arrangements."
He paused, then continued, "Training must not stop. Miss Melina, I hope you can protect the village until I return. Once I'm back, I'll help you resolve your matter, and you can officially join my territory."
Melina smiled and replied, "Okay, Lord Aaron."
Aaron had made this offer after using the Baron Badge
he received from Lord Alaric when he was granted his territory and title.
Using the badge, he discovered that the Rose Guards' loyalty had reached nearly 80 points.
Most others in his territory were between 80 and 90. Those with 90+ loyalty included Rumba, Kelly, Jake, Blake, Torvald, and a few others.
After returning, he planned to sort them out quietly, offer additional benefits, and begin training them as his core members.
He turned to the old chief. "Old Chief, while I'm away, please supervise the training of the others."
Khumba smiled and replied, "Lord Aaron, don't worry about it."
He was already satisfied with Aaron's rule. The people were safe, monsters no longer dared to attack, food was abundant, and they even had silk clothing.
He had resolved to use his strength to protect this place.
Then, with a hint of concern, he asked, "Lord Aaron, if someone else comes to the village while you're gone, what should I do?"
Aaron replied, "I don't think anyone will come. But if they do, don't let them enter the village. Melina, your team must ensure they stay away. Once return, I'll deal with them."
Khumba felt relieved hearing that.
Aaron then looked at Rumba. "You must continue what you've been doing these past few days."
Rumba nodded, though his voice was a bit low.
Over the past few days, they had been beaten during Basic Sword Technique training. It was painful, but they had managed to reach the beginner level.
He was determined to keep training. If Lord Aaron returned and found their performance lacking, he was sure he'd be beaten again.
Aaron turned to Kelly, who shivered slightly and asked, "Lord Aaron, do you have any orders?"
She had also been disciplined during training, so her tone was cautious.
Aaron smiled and said, "You'll supervise and continue your training, same as usual."
Finally, he looked at Torvald, who immediately said, "Aaron, if you find any books on craftsmanship or useful tools in the Wizard World, please bring them back for our territory."
Aaron nodded.
"Of course. If I find anything important, I'll bring it here."
He had already prepared, bringing four extra storage bags and his space rings, with a combined capacity of nearly 20 cubic meters. Plenty of room for whatever he might find.
Next day.
Early morning.
Aaron stood in front of the giant eagle, staring with a stunned expression.
Though he had seen monsters before, like the Gray Wolf he hadn't been shocked by them. But this creature's massive size was on a different level.
From the map, he could easily check its level: Level 25, and its body was twice the size of the Gray Wolf.
Elisa called out, "Aaron, hurry up and climb using these ropes!"
Aaron snapped out of his daze and climbed up onto the eagle's back, where he found Elina already seated inside a carriage.
She opened the door, and Aaron stepped in.
Elina turned to the driver, handed him four mana stones, and said, "Please take us back to Mosten City."
The driver's entire body was covered in a black cloak, his face barely visible. He simply replied in a hoarse tone, "Okay."
Aaron sat beside Elisa, and from the window, he watched the monster fly at incredible speed.
He turned to Elisa and asked, "What kind of monster is this?"
Elina answered, "It's a Swift Eagle. Although it's only a Tier 3 beast, its huge body and speed, comparable to a Tier 4, make it ideal for transportation."
Aaron's eyes lit up. "Can I buy a Swift Eagle?"
Elisa nodded. "Of course you can. There are many types of monsters for sale. You'll find one that suits you. But be warned, each one is expensive. Even a Tier 1 monster can cost 10 to 100 mana stones, depending on its bloodline and rarity."
Aaron leaned forward, intrigued. "Are there other means of transportation in the Wizard World?"
Elina replied, "Of course. Most people use carriages to travel within cities. They're easy to hire, just a few copper coins."
"If you want a monster as your personal ride, you'll need broken mana stones."
She continued,
"1 mana stone = 10 broken mana stones
1 broken mana stone = 10 gold coins
1 gold coin = 100 silver coins
1 silver coin = 100 copper coins."
Aaron asked, "Is there any important rule I need to remember after reaching the Wizard World?"
Elisa thought for a moment and replied, "Nope. As long as you don't cause trouble, people won't bother you."
Aaron felt relieved. His heart lightened as he looked forward to discovering what kind of world the Wizard World truly was.
Outside the window, all he could see were white, fluffy clouds stretching endlessly across the sky.
He opened his map, but found that it displayed nothing. He was shocked, until he realized they were flying in the sky.
The map only displayed dangers, and now, he noticed a few red dots, confirming his suspicion.
At the same time, he realized a drawback of the map.
Its scanning range was limited to 5,000 meters horizontally and 500 meters vertically.
On the ground, this was enough to easily spot enemies.
But in the sky, it was a different story.
If he were flying at 5,000 meters altitude, and enemies were at 2,000 meters, the map might not detect them at all.
He made a mental note: fight on land whenever possible.
