After the formal ceremonies for the first-year students were over, Mart walked around, observing the students who had entered the Academy subtly but in detail.
"It seems that this time they are not being too obvious, or perhaps they have realized that we have a way of detecting the energy of the Demon God," Mart thought as he continued walking until he encountered Nirian Arcariz in the hallways.
Next to her was a handsome young demon who attracted attention. His hair was bluish-black, neither short nor long, his skin was pure white, his blue eyes were full of life, and he had blue horns that looked like dark blue crystals on either side of his forehead. He was slender and athletic.
"It's an honor to see you, Miss Arcariz." Mart greeted her courteously.
"It is an honor for me. I see you have finally reached class S," said the beautiful Nirian.
"Yes, everything in due time. Rushing things isn't always the best idea," added Mart, turning his gaze to the young demon who he concluded must be Moraf because he was almost identical to the demon he saw in his dreams dying at the hands of Arian.
Nirian realized that he hadn't introduced his brother.
"This is my younger brother, Moraf Arcariz." He will be in the S class, of the first year," Nirian said, sounding subtly proud.
"It is an honor to meet you, Mart Sevec. You can call me Moraf, there is no need for such formality at the Academy," Moraf said formally, but then, with a subtle joke to his sister, he added, "My sister talks a lot about you. I hope to have the opportunity to receive your guidance."
Mart noticed the slight shock in Nirian, but didn't give it much thought.
"Young Moraf. I hope we can be friends. If you have any questions, I will help you answer them. It will be an honor."
After other formalities, Nirian and her brother continued on their way.
"So that's the antagonist. He could easily become the protagonist of the story from the demons' perspective," thought Mart Sevec, who had already activated his demonic perception, with which he was able to sense Moraf Arcariz's latent talent.
When he finished touring the academy, Mart headed to his classroom.
"I have to ask Emy what kind of test she'll have to take to graduate. I hope they canceled the mission to Marrac Mountain. It's too dangerous to go there," Mart concluded as he entered Class S and several students turned their gaze toward him.
Mart recognized some of them, even Erian Lizerit, who looked at him with contempt without bothering to hide it.
Mart walked over and sat down near Selenia, Asfil, and Selis.
Shortly after, a teacher wearing dark glasses with round frames entered the classroom. He was short, but his demonic rank was evident. The professor's nails were black and pointed, his hair was black and short, his white skin had a slight greenish tint, he had two horns with a brownish-gray hue on either side of his forehead, and he wore a formal black suit.
"He is the warrior of poison."
"One wound from his claws and you are done for."
Some students murmured quietly, but with his heightened senses, it was easy for Mart to hear them.
"I am Professor Banser Siliscan. I will be the advisor for Class S and your demonic combat professor."

After the orientation classes on the first day ended, Mart went with Selenia, Asfil, and Selis to a cafeteria that only Class S students had access to.
In that cafeteria, Mart saw the creepy demonic dishes he was used to, as well as some new ones.
The difference between this cafeteria and the one the other students went to was that the food had a higher concentration of demonic energy, which made it more nutritious.
...
After Mart, Selenia, Asfil, and Selis finished lunch, they chatted for a few minutes, when Mart got up to go to the library.
The handsome demon Meleic Asfent approached, attracting the attention of the female students. Next to Meleic was the beautiful Sara Veniac.
"Mart, can we talk?" said Meleic, looking at Mart inquiringly.
Sara greeted Selenia naturally and sat down to chat with them.
...
Mart and Meleic walked out of the cafeteria and down the hallways.
"Why didn't you participate in the tournament?" asked Meleic, sounding somewhat indignant.
"I didn't feel it was necessary. I don't need to show my cards to an audience, especially considering what has happened," Mart replied calmly.
"Besides, if I defeated you, you might side with the enemy, and that would be problematic," Mart added to himself in his mind.
"You're right, I didn't consider that," Meleic added, somewhat disappointed in his own immaturity.
"In the end, you won. You're proving that your skills can't be stopped. You have the determination necessary to be the successor to the Duchy of Asfent. Although that last part is just my opinion," Mart said with some enthusiasm.
The two continued walking and talking until they reached the library.
"If you want to train, invite Moraf, Miss Arcariz's brother. I'll participate too. I'm not against training and proper preparation, because it will come in handy at a decisive moment or in an unexpected dangerous situation." Those were Mart's parting words as he entered the library.

In the library, some male students were watching Emy, because with her lineage now awakened, she stood out for her undeniable beauty, but when they saw Mart approaching the reception desk and hugging Emy, they all stopped watching her, feeling that they had been warned.
...
Mart sat down next to Emy.
"What will this year's graduation test be?" Mart asked her.
"Don't worry, I'll just have to write an essay, it will be easy for me," Emy replied with her usual almost somber voice and expression.
Mart felt relieved. He had been somewhat worried and felt that murderous intentions had arisen in him if they had approved the mission to Marrac Mountain.
Since he had the rest of the day off, Mart accompanied Emy until the end of the day while he read some books she had recommended to him.
