Becoming a Billionaire after Divorce

Chapter 85 Li Wenwen: The Thorny Rose_2

"Sure, if you want to give me something nice, I won't object," Li Wenwen said, her confidence practically a declaration. The advantage is mine!

"Since it's a friendly match, let's keep it that way. How about the loser buys the winner dinner? Of course, the winner gets to pick the place," she suggested.

"Alright, you said it. Don't come complaining that I'm bleeding you dry when you lose," he replied.

"Fine, we can start now," Sun Dasheng said, glancing at Zhao Gang who was standing nearby.

Zhao Gang nodded to show he understood, then instructed his staff to set up the competition area.

"You're just going to stand there and watch?" Xie Moyao couldn't help but ask again.

Standing beside her with his arms crossed, Li Feng responded, "That's just her personality; you know that. Just let her be. With me around, she's always the one bullying others. No one dares to bully her."

"My, you're confident," Xie Moyao said, shaking her head lightly.

However, she had a mild-mannered personality herself. Having already tried to persuade Li Wenwen twice to no avail, she decided to say no more.

「The Shooting Range」

The fully geared-up pair was in position.

"Should I go first, or will you?" Li Wenwen asked.

"Ladies first. You go ahead."

"Fine. Then keep your eyes peeled. This is how a real sharpshooter shoots."

The moment she gripped the pistol, her entire demeanor changed. Her Weaver stance was textbook, a clear sign of extensive training; she was obviously no stranger to firearms.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

After ten shots, the target score was announced: 81 points.

Her skill was quite impressive; every shot had scored an eight or higher. Out of a possible 100 points, achieving 81 was a remarkable feat. It was even slightly better than her usual performance—a truly exceptional display. She lifted her chin proudly, gesturing toward Sun Dasheng as if to say, "How about that? Ready to admit defeat?"

"She really is skilled, huh? The boss might be in trouble."

"Indeed. It's her first time at our range, so we've never seen her shoot before. It looks like we underestimated this young lady."

Hearing their discussion, the young woman's smug expression intensified. She took off her noise-canceling headphones and said to Sun Dasheng in the next lane, "Uncle, if you surrender now, you'll get off easy. You'll only have to treat me.

"But if you insist on competing and still lose, you'll have to treat my brother and sister-in-law, too."

Sun Dasheng just smiled at her. Looks like winning this will be a bit difficult without adding some points. I really have underestimated the people of this world.

So be it.

System, add points.

A warm current flowed through his body, finally converging in his hands. He felt the sensitivity and dexterity of his hands increase dramatically. The pistol in his grasp transformed from a weapon into a toy he could manipulate at will.

He raised the pistol with one hand, holding it straight out.

"Hey! This is a competition! You'd better take it seriously or just give up. Don't use that arrogant one-handed stance as an excuse when you lose!" Li Wenwen snapped, clearly annoyed.

She assumed he knew he couldn't win and was intentionally throwing the match, just so he could later claim he wasn't even trying. She'd seen that type of person far too many times.

Standing on the sidelines, Da Yong and Zhao Gang were also surprised. They exchanged a look. The boss couldn't really be giving up like she said, could he?

But Sun Dasheng simply ignored her, raised his arm, and started firing.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

In one smooth motion, he emptied the magazine. After reloading, he fired two more shots to complete his ten, then removed the noise-canceling headphones from his ears.

He smiled at Li Wenwen. "What were you saying just now? I couldn't hear you. Could you repeat that?"

"You... Hmph! I won't thank you for throwing the match. Even if you gave it your all, you'd still be no match for me!" she retorted.

"Oh, really?" Sun Dasheng replied with a quiet smile.

"Hmph! Keep up your act," Li Wenwen said, crossing her arms over her chest before quickly dropping them with a blush. She had forgotten she was wearing a low-cut camisole. Her movement had inadvertently squeezed her bosom mostly out of her top, giving the man opposite her quite a view.

"Hmph! Where are your eyes wandering? Haven't you ever seen a pair this big before?" she snapped.

"I've seen more peaches than the points you just scored," Sun Dasheng stated coolly.

Now Li Wenwen was absolutely fuming.

"Pah! Shameless!"

Then she remembered they were still in the middle of a competition.

"Hasn't his score been announced yet? Is it too low to say out loud? Afraid of embarrassing your boss?"

She assumed Sun Dasheng was the shooting range's owner; otherwise, why would the staff be sucking up to him so much?

Zhao Gang gave her a faint, knowing smile. "The score my staff reported is... a bit bizarre. I'm having them double-check it."

As he spoke, he glanced at the calm and collected man beside him. No wonder he had been so relaxed and casual. All along, he had been a wolf in sheep's clothing. His claim about this being his first time shooting was probably a lie, too. Otherwise, not even a genius could explain this score. His first time shooting, and he hits ten for ten on a fifty-meter target, with every single shot a ten-point bullseye? If such a person truly existed, he could only be called a superhuman. It's simply impossible for someone this incredible to exist in the real world.

"Oh? How bizarre? Do tell," Li Wenwen scoffed, not believing a word of it. They were obviously just trying to protect their boss's ego by not announcing his score.

"Are you sure you want to hear it?" Zhao Gang asked.

"Of course! Announce it. Let's all see just how 'bizarre' it is. Go on, enlighten us," Li Wenwen said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
