Superpower Small Farmer

Chapter 391

Wang Xiaoqiang chuckled, hooking Lin Xianshu's delicate chin, and said, "I was just joking with you, I didn't expect you to take it seriously..."

"Ah... you, you knew everything, you, you played me..." Lin Xianshu said, fuming with anger. The thought that Wang Xiaoqiang understood everything, while she had earnestly explained "that time of the month" to him, filled her with intense embarrassment and annoyance. Clenching her fists, she started pounding on Wang Xiaoqiang's chest like she was beating a drum.

The next day.

Lin Xianshu received a summon from the Mount Hua Sword Sect, an internal call from the sect. However, Lin Xianshu ignored the summon. According to the rules of the Mount Hua Sword Sect, any disciple who ignored a summon would face severe punishment, possibly even execution. But after consulting Wang Xiaoqiang, Lin Xianshu made the bold decision not to heed the Mount Hua Sword Sect. Despite the great risks involved, she couldn't care less because she was clear in her mind that this summons could very well be a plot by Li Taiyi. After all, when Lin Xianshu had last asked for leave from the sect, Li Taiyi had threatened her, saying unless you never return to the Mount Hua Sword Sect, you can't escape my grasp once you're back.

Lin Xianshu would never submit to Li Taiyi. Now she had Wang Xiaoqiang, a boyfriend whose cultivation base could rival that of Li Gufeng. Even though the Mount Hua Sword Sect had a profound heritage and was home to many masters, in the face of absolute power, numbers were just a mirage. Therefore, she continued to mix with the secular world with Wang Xiaoqiang. Of course, she also planned, after her period was over, to start Dual Cultivation with Wang Xiaoqiang to help increase his cultivation base, and also to enhance her own. If the Mount Hua Sword Sect made a move, they would have the capital to resist by then.

During the several days at Lin Xianshu's home, the two began a tourism adventure in the Zhoushan Archipelago.

The Zhoushan Archipelago is located in the northeast of Zhejiang Province, in the East China Sea at the mouth of Hangzhou Bay. It's China's largest archipelago, belonging to Zhoushan City. Stretching from the northeast to the southwest, it's named after the main Zhoushan Island. It consists of over a thousand islands including the Shengsi Archipelago, Ma'an Archipelago, Rugged Archipelago, Chuanhu Archipelago, Volcanic Archipelago, and Zhongjie Islands, covering an area of 1,242 square kilometers. The terrain is mostly hilly with narrow coastal plains; the highest point, on Peach Blossom Island, reaches 539.7 meters above sea level. The rivers are short and mostly flow directly into the sea. With a complex coastline, there are over 20 fishing ports; Shenjiamen fishing port is one of the largest in the country. Daishan Island is a renowned salt field in the province. Mount Putuo is one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in the country; Shengsi Archipelago is known as the "Southern Beidaihe" and is a popular summer getaway spot and national scenic area. Daishan Island and Peach Blossom Island are provincial scenic spots. The surrounding seas are part of the shallow continental shelf of the East Sea and include China's largest fishing ground, the Zhoushan fishing ground, which is abundant in marine life.

As early as 4000 BC, Egyptians began using sand to help build the Pyramids, which were the early forms of sand sculpture. However, as an art form, sand sculpture originated in America. After nearly a century of development, sand sculpture has become a fringe art form that integrates sculpture, sport, entertainment, painting, and architecture. Its true charm lies in the use of purely natural sand and water as materials, creating fascinating visual spectacles through the creativity of artists. Sand sculpture art represents the harmonious unity of natural and cultural landscapes, natural beauty, and artistic grace. Its magic and uniqueness have increasingly captured the interest of many people, rapidly increasing the number of enthusiasts and making it a popular tourist activity internationally. The Zhoushan Archipelago, located 10,000 kilometers away from the Egyptian Pyramids but also on the northern latitude of 30 degrees, tells the same story – "The Fairy Tale of Sand."

The "City of a Thousand Islands" consist of 1,390 islands, among them numerous magical and beautiful golden beaches. Zhujiajian is a magical island that hosts 9 beaches, the largest combination of sandy beaches in the East China Region and even across the country. Out of those, 5 beaches stretch continuously, forming the grand "Ten Mile Golden Sands." These golden beaches, with fine sand and wide, flat shores, are ideal for creating sand sculptures and hosting sand-related events, beloved by sand sculptors and tourists from around the world. Zhujiajian, the fifth largest of over a thousand islands in the Zhoushan Archipelago, covers more than seventy square kilometers and has a resident population of over twenty thousand. In the west, it's connected to the world-famous Shenjiamen fishing port, bridged to the Zhoushan Main Island by a sea-crossing bridge, and across the sea to the north lies Mount Putuo, one of China's four great Buddhist mountains, at a 1.35 nautical mile distance. Zhujiajian is an integral part of the national scenic area of Mount Putuo and is at the heart of the tourism core area of the Zhoushan Archipelago.

Zhujiajian boasts a wealth of natural landscapes, with sand, stone, sea, and Buddhist views all in one, making it an ideal spot for seaside tourism, sightseeing, vacationing, leisure, and summer retreats. With its beautiful island scenery and rich marine culture, Zhujiajian is a place that visitors find hard to leave. Attractions like the Guanyin Culture Garden in Zhujiajian, Zhangzhou Bay, Ten Mile Golden Sands, and the Sea of a Thousand Islands have welcomed numerous domestic and international tourists. In 2002, tourism to Zhujiajian reached 1.06 million visitors.

Mount Putuo is located in the Putuo District of Zhejiang Province and is a small island in the Zhoushan Archipelago, situated to the east of the main islands. Widely known as the "Sea Sky Buddhist Kingdom," it is one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China and one of the first 44 national scenic areas identified by the country. The scenic beauty of Mount Putuo encompasses temples, seas, sands, and rocks.

Climbing the mountain and taking in the scenery while looking out at the azure sea, with islands dotting the water and sails drifting between them, the view is utterly enchanting. In the past, Mount Putuo was highly praised: "For mountain scenery with the charm of a lake, West Lake is supreme; for mountain scenery with the charm of the sea, Mount Putuo stands out." Comparing Putuo to the heavenly West Lake is indeed an objective view. The seascapes of Mount Putuo, at any scenic area or spot, give one the sense of a vast and open horizon. Even with the roaring sea breeze and the churning waves, it does not evoke fear of turbulent oceans but rather inspires awe with its unique natural wonders.

Thousand-Step Sand and Hundred Step Sands on the island have become famous beach tourism areas, not just for their excellent sand quality but also for their comprehensive entertainment facilities. Swimming in such a Buddhist kingdom by the sea is truly a unique experience.

Peach Blossom Island Scenic Area is located in the southeast of China's largest archipelago—the Zhoushan Archipelago—and is the fictional home of Eastern Heretic Huang Yaoshi in Jin Yong's novels. Surrounded by the East Sea, Peach Blossom Island enjoys a pleasant climate, with undulating peaks, misty mountains and seas, and unique scenery, making it an ideal destination for travel, vacationing, and leisure.

Peach Blossom Island boasts a complete range of tourist resources and a rich selection of cultural landscapes. Within its 31 square kilometer scenic area, there are six major scenic zones, including Peach Blossom Valley, Great Buddha Rock, Ta Bay Golden Sands, Anqi Peak, Hanging Dove Island, and Peach Blossom Harbor, making up 12 major landscapes and more than 60 attractions.

Among them, Archery Eagle Movie City is the only maritime film and television base in our country; Anqi Peak is the highest peak in the Zhoushan Archipelago; Peach Blossom Harbor is Zhoushan's deepest harbor; Great Buddha Rock is the largest stone in the southeast coast; White Sparrow Temple is said to be the place where Guanyin embarked on her path of cultivation; and there are also Peach Blossom Fort, Peach Blossom Formation, Peach Blossom Gathering, Peach Blossom Stone... With the sea holding its affection and the vegetation full of interest, it's a place truly worthy of being called "an immortal mountain above the sea, a paradise on earth."

Speaking of tourism, these spots are indeed the prime choices. Lin Xianshu grew up here and often visited these places with her parents when she was little, so she should be considered a suitable guide. Over the past few days, the two of them have been visiting these scenic spots, transferring from one to another. For others, to tour all these places would take at least ten days to half a month, but for the two of them, one week was enough.

Wang Xiaoqiang's Spirit Spring Flying Boat was like a tour shuttle, rapidly flying back and forth between these beautiful spots, even more freely and at will than a cable car. At each destination, they would sample the local specialty foods and snacks, stroll and browse around, thoroughly enjoying themselves—it was truly a heavenly lifestyle.

Of course, the two didn't forget about dual cultivation.

Today, after Lin Xianshu's period had passed, the two rented a relatively secluded rural retreat house to begin dual cultivation.

This rural retreat was filled with a wild charm.

The house, fashioned like a courtyard with green tiles and bricks, was very down-to-earth, backed by mountains and facing water, with superb Feng Shui. In the yard blooming flowers tangled with trees, winding paths led to a secluded spot—a small garden enclosed with green vines and centered around a large flowerbed.

The flowerbed was woven from wicker with both ends suspended by ropes, hanging between two trees. It was very flexible and even allowed for swinging. A smooth bamboo mat was spread on it, and the edges of the bed were adorned with fresh flowers, their fragrance wafting in all directions—a so-called flowerbed.

That evening, the sky was filled with stars and moonlight.

When midnight came, as Yin and Yang intersected, Wang Xiaoqiang lay in anticipation on the flowerbed, a bit impatient, while Lin Xianshu was inside, cleansing herself.

Women are trouble—Lin Xianshu, like Ye Qingcheng before her, took a good long while to bathe, making Wang Xiaoqiang somewhat anxious.
