Little Qiang took Qiao Zhi to a restaurant to eat and then planned to continue diving into the sea for exploration. However, a small incident occurred, and the two had a slight friction with a local rich second-generation.
Speaking of which, it's somewhat melodramatic. It's a bit like a TV drama plot.
One local tycoon's son, a thoroughbred profligate figure, named Zhang Bao, was surfing with a bunch of fair-weather friends at sea. After surfing, they got hungry and came to this restaurant to eat as well.
The restaurant was called Hong Tai Restaurant.
Quite extraordinary, very awesome, because unlike other restaurants that treat customers like gods, this restaurant doesn't care about patrons, since both the restaurant's heritage and the food here are enough to rival any restaurant in the world. It is said to only serve some rich businessmen and celebrities, so Wang Xiaoqiang and Qiao Zhi were turned away.
Although Wang Xiaoqiang was famous in other places, most people did not recognize him. They might find his face familiar, but just bringing a woman to eat, others would not believe he was the renowned Wang Xiaoqiang, after all, there are too many people named Wang Xiaoqiang in the world. Who knows if someone is impersonating him.
Wang Xiaoqiang was very unhappy and wanted to argue about it, but Qiao Zhi held him back.
Eating a meal, it doesn't matter where you eat. Instead of making a fuss, it's better to just switch to another restaurant.
Just when Qiao Zhi was pulling Little Qiang to find another restaurant, Zhang Bao and his group arrived at the entrance of the restaurant, and Zhang Bao spotted Qiao Zhi at first glance and was immediately astounded, finding her to be a Heavenly Being.
His group of fair-weather friends were also staring at Qiao Zhi. Their gazes seemed to stick to Little Qiang and were reluctant to look away.
Zhang Bao was also quite skilled at picking up girls. Seeing that Little Qiang and Qiao Zhi couldn't enter Hong Tai, he immediately understood that their status wasn't enough. So he quickly stepped forward and grabbed them, saying, "You two are here to eat, right?"
Seeing Zhang Bao's cheerful and friendly smile, Little Qiang said, "That's right."
"Is it that they won't let you in?"
"That's right."
"No problem, just follow me, and by the way, I'll treat you both to a meal today." Zhang Bao generously offered.
There's no such thing as a free lunch. Surprised, Wang Xiaoqiang asked, "Do we know you?"
"We don't, but now we've met, haven't we? My name is Zhang Bao. As for this restaurant, it's opened by a buddy of my dad. Do you know the kind of people who come here to eat? Big celebrities, rich tycoons, dining here you could meet several famous stars you usually can't see." Zhang Bao boasted proudly.
"Haha, is that so? But I'm really not interested in celebrities, so forget it. Also, I heard that some of the celebrities are black… ears. Sitting with them to eat, I wouldn't be able to stomach my food," Little Qiang casually dismissed.
Zhang Bao took pride in seeing celebrities, while Little Qiang considered it a disgrace to dine with them. This was tantamount to slapping Zhang Bao in the face. Zhang Bao's expression showed a hint of annoyance, and he no longer paid attention to Wang Xiaoqiang, but turned to Qiao Zhi and asked, "Miss, is this guy your boyfriend or something?"
Qiao Zhi, being incredibly astute, immediately hugged Wang Xiaoqiang's arm and said, "He is my husband."
Zhang Bao glanced harshly at Qiao Zhi's chest and said, "I have to say, Miss, you're quite unfortunate to end up with such a poor and sour husband. This guy is not just poor, but sour..."
"What did you say, a dog's mouth can't spit out ivory…" Qiao Zhi sharply retorted immediately.
"Ha, it seems your lady is really a dumb b*tch. I feel sorry for you; you're actually cursing me back." Zhang Bao shook his head. His group of fair-weather friends gathered around, obviously all rich second-generations who loved chaos. At this moment, they stared at Qiao Zhi with muddled gazes, then looked provocatively at Little Qiang.
Little Qiang glared at Zhang Bao and asked "What's your name?"
"Little Turtle Three, it looks like you're from the Mainland. Here in Shallow Water Bay, there's nobody who doesn't know my name. Listen up, I carry the surname Zhang, Zhang of Zhang Fei, and my name is Bao, Bao as in a big golden ingot."
"Haha, if you hadn't mentioned your surname first, I would have thought you were my son... no secret, my son is also called Bao, but his name is Wang Xiaobao…" Little Qiang looked at Zhang Bao with a smile, his tone light and easy.
"F*ck your mother, you dare to insult me." Zhang Bao swung his fist towards Little Qiang's face.
Little Qiang caught his fist with one hand, saying, "Zhang Bao, want to fight? How boring. How about we make a bet? Just the two of us, one-on-one. If you win, my wife will dine with you. If you lose, have the restaurant's owner personally come out and invite us in for a meal, how about it?"
"Awesome, that's interesting," Zhang Bao's friends cheered on.
"That's what you said," Zhang Bao said with a triumphant look, his gaze sweeping over Qiao Zhi, a lascivious gleam in his eyes.
"Of course," Little Qiang replied, "seeing as you share a name with my son, I'll give you an advantage. Right now, your hand is held in mine; if you can pull it out within ten seconds, then I'll consider it my loss…"
"That's what you said," Zhang Bao was even more smug. "Alright, I'm taking that bet."
"Okay, you can start now. I'm going to start counting." Little Qiang then began to count. "One, two, three…"
Zhang Bao initially exerted all his strength, trying to pull away, but his hand didn't come free, so he kicked Little Qiang in the groin. Little Qiang didn't dodge, letting him kick.
Seeing Zhang Bao's foot hit Little Qiang's nether regions, all his fair-weather friends showed a schadenfreude expression, certain that with Zhang Bao's practice in the Twelve Moves of Tan Tui, that kick would have exploded Wang Xiaoqiang's little brother.
However, they were soon stunned to see that when Zhang Bao's kick landed, Little Qiang was unscathed, while Zhang Bao was howling in pain.
"Four, five, six..." Wang Xiaoqiang continued counting.
"Go to hell." Zhang Bao, ignoring the pain, threw a left punch at Wang Xiaoqiang's face.
Wang Xiaoqiang dodged out of the way.
"Seven, eight, nine..." Wang Xiaoqiang carried on counting.
"Die." Zhang Bao threw another punch towards Wang Xiaoqiang's abdomen. Wang Xiaoqiang still didn't dodge, and in the end, it was Zhang Bao who cried out in pain.
"Ten." Wang Xiaoqiang shouted the number ten and let go of Zhang Bao, "Alright, you've lost. Let the owner of this restaurant come out and invite us in for a meal."
"Eat your mom!" Underneath his shame and irritation, Zhang Bao kicked recklessly towards Wang Xiaoqiang.
Wang Xiaoqiang got angry.
He grabbed Zhang Bao's leg then pulled, hoisting up his nearly one hundred and eighty pounds body overhead before smashing him into the Hong Tai Restaurant's sign.
Bang!
The sign of Hong Tai, written in traditional characters, was smashed to pieces by Zhang Bao's hefty body.
Zhang Bao's group of rascals and cronies were petrified; the man before them was too formidable, tossing Zhang Bao's body out and smashing it into Hong Tai Restaurant—didn't they know who owned the place? It was a restaurant of Hong Nan, the big shot of Southern District of Hong Kong. This young man had just obliterated Hong Tai's sign; wasn't this courting death?
Immediately, a few security guards walked out from the restaurant, with the leading one pointing at Wang Xiaoqiang and bellowing, "Kid, you've got guts, daring to smash Brother Nan's restaurant!"
Wang Xiaoqiang asked, "Who is Brother Nan?"
"Brother Nan is Hong Nan, what about it, are you scared now?"
"A little, but what's the relationship between this Hong Nan and Huang Kunlun?"
"Huang Kunlun...? You dare to utter Master Huang's name? Just for that, your tongue should be cut out,"
"Try cutting it then." Wang Xiaoqiang stuck out his tongue.
The three security guards' faces showed strange and playful smiles, "Don't worry, you'll get what's coming to you. We don't lay hands here."
"Alright then, since that's the case, let's go in and eat." Saying this, Wang Xiaoqiang, tugging on Qiao Zhi's hand, attempted to force his way into Hong Tai to eat.
The three guards immediately blocked their way glaringly, "Looking for death, are you?"
With a wave of his hand, Wang Xiaoqiang sent the three guards flying out.
"Fuck, Inner Strength, he's an Inner Strength master," mumbled Zhang Bao, picking himself up and staring at Wang Xiaoqiang.
After sweeping away the obstacles, Wang Xiaoqiang took Qiao Zhi inside to eat. Once in the restaurant, everything was easier to deal with; the waiters came to serve them, they ordered dishes, and started eating.
And I must say, the food here is truly extraordinary; at any rate, Wang Xiaoqiang couldn't stop praising it and Qiao Zhi also thought it was quite good. However, halfway through their meal, someone came looking for trouble, none other than Hong Nan, the big shot of the Southern District. Hong Nan only brought two men with him, including Zhang Bao. Zhang Bao was the son of Hong Nan's old friend Zhang Jin, and since Zhang Bao had been beaten up, especially right outside Hong Tai, Hong Nan felt the responsibility to seek justice for him. However, Hong Nan did not start off by talking about fighting or killing.
Apparently, those in the underworld have their differences, as evidently, Hong Nan was not your average thug. He didn't immediately try to get rid of Wang Xiaoqiang's meal but instead pulled up a chair and sat beside them, asking, "May I know the gentleman's esteemed name?"
"Wang Xiaoqiang."
"Mr. Wang, hello, I am Hong Nan, and I'm also the owner of this restaurant. Mr. Wang, you beat up my friend's son outside my establishment, and even smashed my signboard, then strong-armed your way into my restaurant for a meal. What kind of explanation do you intend to give me?"
"There's no need for explanations. Restaurants are for eating, and turning customers away at the door is simply wrong. Moreover, this Zhang Bao harbored ill intentions towards my wife, lost a bet to me and then failed to keep his word, so teaching him a lesson was necessary," Wang Xiaoqiang, seeing that Hong Nan was being somewhat courteous, responded in kind and continued to eat.
"I'll fucking kill you." Zhang Bao, seeing Wang Xiaoqiang still acting so brazenly, immediately charged toward him.
But before he could get close, he was stopped by Hong Nan. As a seasoned figure in the martial world, Hong Nan was no stranger to such situations. Seeing Wang Xiaoqiang so bold, he knew there must be a reason for it, so he dared not offend him hastily, fearing Zhang Bao would suffer yet again.
Wang Xiaoqiang said to Hong Nan, "Hong Nan, if you throw this Zhang Bao into the sea for me, I will let this matter go."
Upon hearing these words, both Hong Nan and Zhang Bao were taken aback, then odd and gloomy expressions surfaced on their faces.
They had seen the audacious, but never anyone so audacious; they had encountered the arrogant, but never anyone as arrogant as this.
Wang Xiaoqiang's words left everyone unable to do anything but wryly smile.
It was as though he, Wang Xiaoqiang, was a Hong Kong tycoon and Hong Nan just one of his underlings. Such a statement could probably only be made by Huang Kunlun in Hong Kong. Yet this young man dared to spout such bold words carelessly, seemingly oblivious to the potential consequences. (To be continued.
