Suddenly, one of the skeletons that punched Emily pointed at them and sent some shivers down the girls' spines. Before any act, it made a weird creaky sound, more like a bird but more different.
Emma narrowed her eyes, her brows furrowed. "Wait, is that a communication signal?" she asked, her eyes glaring at the tall and strong skeleton.
Emily shouted, "HUH!" Her mouth was wide open, and her eyes widened too. She was surprised by the sound and Emma's question. And she also heard some noise from those small skeletons.
There was a crowd of skeletons that popped up behind the five skeletons. When the crowd passed the five big skeletons, the one that communicated the last time raised his hand and showed a (come here) signal with his white, boned hand.
Elina asked, "Wait, it wants us to go there?" Her eyes were wide open, and fear made her heart loudly beat in her chest.
Emily barked as she said, "The what? That's totally cheating. How are we going to get there with an army on our way? There are the three of us against a billion skeletons coming our way!"
Elina started to scratch her head, her face low, her eyes racing, chasing the unknown on the ground. She thought, 'Damn damn damn, what should I do? What was Akirion going to do in a state like this? Mhhhhh, think, Elina, think.' She continued to scratch her head, and then she began to hit it gently, trying to gather some ideas that would work.
She thought of Akirion's actions or what he would say; suddenly, *Relax* rang in her head.
She looked up with a bit of a smile on her face as a ray of hope shone in her thoughts. She mumbled, with a low voice, "Oh yeah, be calm, think of a simple way. He's a good fighter, so I should be able to be just like him, but my magic doesn't do close combat fighting; that's bad." she said, her left hand helping the right in balance, since she was holding her chin with her right hand.
Emma interrupted, "Hey Elina, what are you muttering about?" she asked, her eyes on Elina.
Surprised and a bit disturbed, she responded, "Huh, sorry!"
"You don't need to be; you should be doing your best to stop these things!"
Emily budged in with a strategy; she said, "Exactly, you guys use low-level spells, and they are for defense, so stay there. I'll lead. Elina, take on the right; I'll deal with the left side. Emma concentrates on the upcomings."
Emma and Elina responded, "Roger!"
They all faced the undead that were racing towards them. Their weapons were their sharp-boned fingers. They were able to pierce through a human's skin without breaking a sweat.
Emily charged forward to attack the ones that were coming on the left of the dungeon.
That dungeon was like a corridor, but about 5 meters wide, and it was about 50 meters long before the corner. The strong 5 undead were standing around the place 40 meters away. Behind them, where the corridor ended, there was a corner; that's where a lot of the undead were coming from.
Elina got surprised by the sudden move. Emily moved forward; she tried to stop her, but her voice was too low: "Emily, wait! Damn, she wants to get hurt again? Emma, let's slowly move forward!"
"Sure!"
The two followed Emily, who made a sword made of ice. She ran, slicing all of the undead that were in her way. There was a really big crowd, and they also regenerated after some time, after they got sliced, so that made them the hardest targets. The girls didn't know their weakness, so it was totally a difficult task for them.
Emily swung her ice sword poorly since she didn't know how to wield a sword. She was lucky that her targets were like a piece of cake; a bit of strength was used to swing the sword, but it was very effective on the skeletons.
She continued her attack until she got a cut on her face as one of the undead used its three fingers to cut off her face.
Emily muttered in her mind angrily, 'Tsk, this thing got some sharp claws. Now you've got me worked up. I'm going to….' She paused and looked at her ice-made sword.
She continued and said, 'Damn, the sword got some gapped smiles. What do you expect from ice, Emily? I guess it will break anytime, so it's time for my guy's regeneration, and it's also time to kill these.' She fiercely grinned, her eyes widened.
Emily created another sword that was smooth, and she started her journey again.
Emma, on the other side, had her eyes shut and her hands gripped as she used her vines to break the undead that were in the middle, away from Emily.
And Elina, she was shooting vacuum blades a lot, slicing through the endless undead that kept closing the gap that she opened by killing a lot of the other undead using her vacuum blades that were ripping them apart, destroying 5 or more per strike.
Elina looked behind a bit, where Emma was, to start a conversation while fighting. "*sigh* These things are really hard to finish; there are a lot of bones down here, but they are still coming!"
Emma responded positively, "Yes, but I'm sure there are a few of them coming now!"
"Maybe you are right because they are decreasing, but if I look at it, it feels like we did nothing because they are still coming." She shot 5 blades at the upcoming undead.
"Yep, but keep it positive!" Emma showed a simple smile on her face.
Elina asked, after a lot of scanning, "Yes, sure, and where did the tall skeletons go?"
With a lot of positivity, Emma replied, "Who knows, maybe they went behind to take a nap since we are taking longer than expected to kill and finish their kids." She slowly chuckled, her eyes on her targets.
"You sound like you know that." Elina sounded more disturbed, her eyes glaring at Emma while she shot the undead coming at her.
"Nah, just thinking, that's all."
"All right, now, let's finish this." She changed her expression and looked serious; she looked forward and got ready.
"Sure, I'll upgrade to minimum." Emma said as she also changed her expression.
"Okay, I'll do the same."
Emily was still fighting the skeletons while Emma and Elina prepared a very big attack.
They meditated for a minute, and after that, their eyelids snapped open as they glared at the skeletons that were like 2 meters away from them since they went clear for a whole minute.
Elina angrily said, "It's time for a spin, dammit!"
Elina created a tornado that started to carry those skeletons before they laid their hands on the two.
Emma helps by destroying a lot of the undead using her vines. The ground was swept up, leaving it clean with a dirty tornado that was carrying a lot of things, sweeping everything in its way.
Emma and Elina cheered for victory; they swung their hands in the air, showing their happiness. "Yes, we did it!!"
Emily turned back after freezing for a second. "Hey, you guys, why didn't you give me a heads up?!"
Emma surprisedly said, "HUH?"
Elina responded calmly, "You didn't need it!"
Angrily, Emily said, "I did. Now my skirt went up. What if Akirion was here?"
"Thankfully he's not here." Elina responded with a calm voice again, with a smile on her face.
"Grr, stop with your calm voice; it's irritating me."
"Come on, I'm not allowed to be calm?"
"That's more ridiculous; you are allowed, of course."
"Huh, so… Never mind, we should find a way to get out of here." Elina calmly suggested.
Emma agreed with her, "Yes, sure, that should be our top priority!!"
Emily added, "Yeah yeah yeah, where are we going to go? Wait, what's that rumbling and crackling noise?"
Elina simply responded, "I don't know."
Emma panicked, "Don't tell me…"
Emily made another ice sword and said, "Get ready to fight, you shitheads."
Elina replied, "What? I don't even have a lot of arcana left; I'm barely standing!"
Angrily, Emily shouted, "What?! Did you finish all of your strength?"
With an embarrassed smile, Emma added onto Elina's point, "Hehehe, same here, I guess. I can't even hold my body from shaking." she said, her eyes closed, and her voice really low.
Emily shouted, her eyes wide open while blazing with rage, "You really are shitheads. Why did you do that? Now I'll kill you before I get killed!"
Elina shouted back angrily, "Stop making noise and make a plan, dammit!!"
Emily sneered and looked at the corner where the undead were expected. "That's more like it, calmness reduced." She paused, then slowly opened her mouth. "Hehehe, I love it, so now we fight!"
