BEYOND THE BLAZE

Chapter 77: wrath of humans

The students stopped shooting at the boulder as they saw that it was pointless since they tried every technique, but they failed to make a scratch on the boulder.

Without anyone shooting, the boulder cracked at the center, creating a big scratch on it.

The students found a big gap during that opening; they notified the others about the crack. After seeing such a crack, energy filled their tired bodies. Their eyes were filled with mischief, happy to have successfully made a crack in the monster's shelter.

They started shooting at the boulder again, their hands pointed at the shelter and their feet exchanged, heading closer to the boulder since they had a mindset that close combat makes a big impact. So they surrounded the boulder; their hands never stopped glowing with magic.

On the other side, Akirion, who was stretching himself, realized that the monster was up to something. He watched his comrades getting closer to the boulder, and he kept quiet, leaving them to enjoy their valuable food.

'Fools, so they aren't seeing that it's an ambush? Ridiculous humans, we can be stupid sometimes.' Akirion thought as he glanced at his sword and got ready for a war.

Before the students even shot a lot of attacks, a brown aura erupted from the boulder, and an explosion occurred.

——

The boulder pieces flew around, hitting each and everyone who had bad luck. The monster followed the flying boulder pieces and attacked those who were left standing, and many were sent flying.

"Ohh, great, it's up. Okay, here I come." Akirion said, his voice growling. His eyes were narrowed while glued to the monster.

He rushed to his comrade's rescue as he approached it and neutralized its attack by just standing in front of it.

"So you've finally regenerated your leg? That's totally good because that brings us to a fight that I was waiting for." Akirion said as he sneered, his eyes narrowed as he glared at the monster. Suddenly, a gasp escaped his sealed mouth.

"That's good to hear, human!" A monster said, its eyes glued at Akirion as it improved its stance, ready for Akirion's attack or surprise attack.

The other students were happy to see him on their rescue since they had already been kicked by the monster.

As for Akirion, he was taken aback by the way it responded. The last time it didn't reply to anyone, but this time it was open for a discussion.

"So you were ignoring me all this time?"

"What do you mean, human? You are the luckiest because you got to hear my voice before you died, so I suggest you celebrate before the end of time, because when I start my move, you won't get a chance to say goodbye!" the monster threatened, its eyes scarily glaring at Akirion.

"I'm sure you forgot to say that you were joking, isn't that right?" Akirion mocked, a sneer pulling his lips apart. His eyes were filled with criticism as he gently glared at the monster with a bit of underestimation.

"Grrrr, it's time to face your end, human! You better say your last words."

The monster swooped through the air, heading to Akirion, who was around 10 meters away. He was glaring at the monster with a sneer on his face as he felt relieved and ready for a war.

The monster came ready with its kick flashing towards Akirion's face. But fear never reached Akirion; only a bit of criticism and underestimation fueled his body as he grinned like a Cheshire cat, his lips weirdly stretched with his teeth shining in a darkish place.

Since the clouds never faded, the warm bright sun wasn't seen; only a bit of light showed that the sun wasn't off yet.

Akirion snapped his eyes open and blocked the flashy kick that was aiming at his face. His eyes were narrowed as he landed his sword on a power-channeled foot that was as strong as metal.

Another way for an attack was formed by the monster as it changed its attack and used its left leg coming from Akirion's right side.

Akirion felt its motion aiming at his stomach. He opened his eyes wide open, but a bit of criticism overwhelmed him as he sneered again, glaring at the monster's upcoming attack.

He changed his stance and took a push-up position and dodged the attack, and suddenly he aimed for the landing leg on the ground. Suddenly a spike popped up from the ground, aiming at his stomach, and that made him lose his stance again and got him rolling with his cloth torn in the stomach.

The monster made its perfect landing while Akirion stood up from the ground, the dirt stuck in his back, while his grin prevailed.

'This human is totally scary, especially that grin. What is he up to?' The monster thought its eyes were glued to Akirion.

"Now, it's time to face the wrath of humans!" Akirion said, his eyes narrowed as underestimation prevailed.

The monster didn't grasp Akirion's words; anger blazed in its 's eyes, its blood boiling, ready to kill the humans.

It disappeared from its place and appeared in front of Akirion, where they started to exchange blows, the monster using its channeled punches.

Every power-channelled point of the monster got strong like metal. So to avoid cuts from Akirion's sword, it channeled its power into its punches for strong punches and defense.

The fight raged; the two swung their weapons, Akirion with a sword while the monster used its punches. The wind eloped with dust from the ground, filling the atmosphere.

Akirion remained stiff and grinning, his eyes narrowed, while the monster's eyes boiled with rage while glaring at Akirion's eyes.

The other students gasped, glaring at Akirion's strong swordsmanship. His fastness in blocking the attacks got them exclaiming, their eyes wide open, staring at the dust eloping from the ground, around the two fighters, blocking their eyesight.

Suddenly, they landed hits on each other, and they reversed, both trying to hold their grips in the ground.

They looked at each other again, ready to start another attack.

"It's time to finish this!"
