The sky was clear, the stars filled the sky and moonlight shone since it rose up when Akirion and Elina were soaking.
The mourning sounds prevailed, and it was so irritating, Akirion. They took their time even though irritation was on their side. After they enjoyed the hot spring, they both got out, their bodies refreshed after a warm bath soak.
They both got out at the same time, and they glared at each other for some seconds, then took off. They were both blushing as if they were both in the same bath.
The followers were feeling sleepy since Akirion and Elina took much time soaking. Their eyes were getting heavy, followed by their heads. Every time when they blinked, their top lashes were gluing to the bottom lashes, and then their heads were following up too.
Suddenly they saw Akirion and Elina getting out, ready to go out. They called each other and hid themselves. Akirion's eyes glared at them with suspicion. He took more than 30 seconds glaring at that cart. Elina saw that Akirion was lost somewhere.
"What's wrong, Akirion?"
"Mhh, nothing, nothing really!" he replied, closing his eyes as he scratched his head.
"Mhh, alright then, it's time to head home!"
"Alright, my body feels refreshed, but I can't wait to reach home." He smiled, his eyes narrowed as he looked at the dark road.
Meanwhile, the followers had their eyes wide open as they got ready to do their last task: to follow them back home, and then they would rest. As for Erlin, her mind was going to be at ease after she had closely investigated Akirion.
They followed behind, and again, kept their distance.
Akirion and Elina were moving fast; they had a light, and their bodies were refreshed. They had all the energy they needed.
After a long walk, the sky recollected the clouds. The moon struggled to pierce its light through the dark clouds. The whole place got dark; the heavenly light was blocked by the clouds that suddenly gathered around.
"Is it about to rain?" Elina asked, her eyes glaring at the sun. Akirion replied with his eyes narrowed, glaring at the black road.
"Yeah, maybe, but I don't think so!"
At the same time, the followers asked themselves the same question. Their eyes searched for the hidden light, but the clouds were super thick and dark. They increased their pace since they didn't want to lose Akirion and Elina.
After some steps, there were some shops that had lights all around, so when Akirion and Elina took a turn for a shortcut, they were walking in the lights. They saw their road clearly, and it was clear with no one walking around.
The followers took some small ways in the middle of the apartments. They charged forward and waited for Akirion and Elina there. They started to smell some smells that were not going along with them.
"Sup with the smell?" Liberty fired a question.
"Don't you see a trash can next to you?" Anda asked, and he checked and smelled a more intimidating smell next to him.
He quickly sealed his mouth and nose with his hand.
Meanwhile, Akirion stopped Elina, and they started to scan the whole place. "What is that smell?" Elina asked, her eyes narrowed while her hand grabbed her nose tightly.
"It smells familiar, don't you think?" Akirion asked, his eyes blazing with rage as he continued to scan the place.
"Since you said it, I'm starting to think that I've smelled something like this before!"
Akirion sneered, his face being molded by an intimidating smile. He stopped looking around and said, "Didn't you smell such a smell today?" he asked, his voice a bit deepened.
Elina panicked and started panting. "Don't tell me, don't tell me….."
Within a second, Akirion replied, "Ohh yes, just like your mind said, it's a monster!"
Suddenly a thunderous noise boomed in the ground, and terror engaged over the land. It mixed up with the dark, especially where the followers were.
The followers got a bit jumpy as a thud was heard as if something fell from the sky.
"What was that?" Liberty asked, his voice barely above a whisper as he struggled to speak; the intimidating night got more intense than it was.
Meanwhile, Akirion and Elina had their eyes and mouths wide open as they had the monster landing, saying, "Don't you think that's childish to call me a monster? Only scared kids call me that!"
Akirion and Elina gulped, a bit taken aback, and a bit uncertain whether it was a monster or not. They never had it talking; even the last one at the school couldn't talk this confidently.
"Ohhh, guess who's talking!" Akirion said, his mouth stretched from ear to ear as he grinned like a Cheshire cat.
The monster gulped a bit; astonishment flowed in its body.
It was just like the monster from the school, but it had a different aura. Its aura was orange, too intimidating; it overwhelmed Elina's body since her knees shook until a thudding sound was heard as she dropped down on her knees.
This monster was confidently talking, its voice a bit robotic but more deep, getting its voice to be more humanlike. Its eyes were black and white, black on the outer side in both eyes, with a line that was burnt like a snake trail.
After it heard Akirion replying to its words confidently, it sneered, its eyes scarily glaring at Akirion. Its square-shaped teeth with a V below were shining outside as it grinned like a Cheshire cat.
"Mhh, didn't your mommy teach you some manners? I'm an elder, and you should show some respect!" the monster said as it slowly moved towards Akirion.
"You must earn it," Akirion said, then paused, his eyes angrily narrowing down slowly. He then continued, "I can't respect a monster, by the way!"
"Grr, hey, didn't I tell you that the way you call me is a bit childish? I'm an elder and can't be called a monster! And again, I should be respected as a human!" The monster lectured as its feet stepped on the ground slowly as it slowly moved towards Akirion.
"So what should I call you then?"
