She was a guild master, and even if this adventurer guild was only in the village, it was still a guild nonetheless.

She also had a special B-rank monster under her control.

The griffin was young and immature now, but as it develops, it would surely grow into a powerful A-rank or even S-rank monster!

Yet someone like that was never mentioned or even shown in the game.

This would have made sense if the village wasn't explored or barely talked about within the game.

However, there was a whole event in which a huge part of took place within the village.

Stanley and a lot of other main characters also showed up within the village at least once during the story of the game.

But then, the guild master was never shown and only mentioned a few times.

It certainly was strange.

Damien already knew not to rely on the information from the game, since too many of it had changed due to his transmigration.

Emma frowned slightly, but her expression soon returned to normal.

The eyes of the men around widened in shock, and whispers soon started spreading around them.

"Did he just refuse… the guild master?!"

"How could he…?"

"I would melt if she offered to have tea with me… "

Emma rarely came to the guild, and even when she did, she only stayed for a little while before reigning.

The running of the guild was usually left in her hands of the vice guild master, who also wasn't around at the moment.

They were lucky the guild was only a small one, or else it would have been run down long ago with their lackadaisical attitudes.

Nonetheless, it was still up, thanks to staffs like Susan who worked tirelessly everyday.

Emma glanced at Damien again, the corners of her lips curling slightly in amusement.

In reality, he was only going home to meet with Nora and Claire.

The village guards stood there awkwardly, staring at his back as he drifted further and further away.

'This fucker… he really didn't spare us a single dime from those monster corpses…' the bald man in front of them thought, gnashing his teeth in annoyance.

They hadn't expected Damien to act so selfishly.

After all, they had been the ones who dragged the corpses all the way here.

Even if they didn't help in killing any of them, they would at least be rewarded for their efforts.
