Sid slammed his hands on the groom's head, vaulted up, and landed on its back. Knife out, he sneered.
"Ever been backstabbed by someone close to you? No? Then let me teach you how it feels—HA!"
[Right Mouse Button]
His blade drove deep into the groom's nape. The monster howled, paralyzed as Sid twisted and let the knife sink.
"Yeah, scream for me, big guy!"
The groom thrashed, its massive hands tearing through the air.

Sid vaulted again, catching a ceiling fan, swinging around, then launching off. He rolled as he landed, grinning.
"And that's a highlight clip right there! Imagine posting this—Sid vs. the dumb as rock groom!"
The groom roared in rage, swinging in a frenzy. Sid, healed and sharp, dodged every strike and countered in flashes. Each miss sent pews splintering, walls crumbling, stray zombies crushed under its fury. The cathedral shook with roars, groans, and the thunder of destruction.
Sid ducked under a swinging arm, shards of marble biting his cheek. He rolled across the cracked floor, barely avoiding another crushing blow. The groom's fist obliterated a column, bringing half the archway down on a cluster of zombies, smashing them flat in an explosion of dust.
"Damn, you're sloppy when you're mad!"
Sid yelled, twisting between the wreckage. His breath was heavy, but his smirk stayed.
They clashed closer and closer to the cathedral's entrance, the heavy doors looming behind Sid. Each strike from the groom shook the whole building. Zombies hissed and stumbled through the chaos, only to be torn apart by the groom's blind swings. The monster was in a frenzy, feral and reckless.
That's when Sid saw her again, the bride. Still lying where she had fallen, watching the fight like an audience. His eyes sharpened.
"Time to put that boss title back on… my stamina's dropping fast keeping up with your tantrums. How about we end this?"
[Stamina bar is decreasing too much. You are getting tired.]
"Stop nagging like my mother but you're right. Let's go to the Bride!"
He ignored the Combat Vision keys again and charged straight for his new target… the bride. The key buttons lit up for the new move.

Sid poured out the last of his stamina, sprinting forward and weaving through the chaos. His pocket knife flashed, stabbing into the skull of a zombie that lunged for him. Another stumbled in from the side… Sid slashed its throat, spinning past as black blood sprayed. He didn't stop. One after another fell, his movements ruthless, and fast.
At last he reached her. He slid to a halt at the bride's side and lifted his shotgun with both hands. He shoved the barrel into her mouth as she lunged to bite him. His jaw clenched; his finger rested on the trigger.
"Sorry, sweetheart… just doing this for the act. I wanted to see the cheesy romance between you and your groom. Tell me, do you love him? Look at him throwing tantrums and shoving you like that; I wonder how he treated you. Ooops — don't bite too much. Be a good girl. Stay still and keep my barrel in your mouth."
He aimed. He held.
The groom saw. It roared, louder than anything before. The sound ripped through the cathedral, shaking the stained glass until it cracked. The massive beast sprinted at them, each step tearing chunks from the ground.
Sid didn't move. He stood his ground, shotgun at the bride's mouth. His breath was steady.
"C'mon…"
He whispered, his eyes locked on the charging groom.
"Come and get me."
The bride's veil fluttered in the dust, her pale face still, her white eyes reflecting his figure. For a brief second, Sid's lips curled.
"Don't worry, undying bride. I'm not pulling the trigger on you. You should know by now how many times I've tried, but I can't kill you… Damn, don't look at me like that. You really remind me of her."
The groom lunged, its mouth opening wide, jagged rotten teeth glowing in the light. It raised both fists, ready to crush them both into the ground.
Sid waited. He didn't flinch.
And then—
Aim (Firearm): [Hold Right Mouse Button] + Shoot: [Left Mouse Button while Aiming]
BOOM!
The shotgun roared, its barrel shoved straight into the groom's gaping mouth.
"This shotgun's for the big guys with big mouths."
The blast tore upward, shredding its skull from the inside. The explosion of bone and rotten flesh shook the air, showering the ground with fragments.
The massive body staggered, swayed, then collapsed like a toppled tower. It crashed through the pews, the sound echoing like thunder before silence took hold.
Sid lowered the shotgun slowly, smoke curling from the barrel. His shoulders heaved, sweat running down his face. He glanced down at the bride, still intact, still lying motionless.
The HUD flickered.
[SYSTEM MESSAGE]
[Boss Defeated]
[Zombie Boss: The Protective Groom has been slain.]
"That's how you deal with a bugged-out boss fight… real dirty."
[Time to revive the bride]
Sid staggered back slightly, chest burning, muscles screaming from exertion. He stared at the collapsed body of the groom, jaw tight, and muttered under his breath,
"Well… that's done. His fault for being a big, overprotective idiot."
His grin was sharp, half cocky, half guilty, as he turned toward the bride.
"Alright, system… f*ck it. I killed the husband, now I take the wife. What? Blame you for pushing me into this, you built this twisted scenario, not me."
His voice carried a mix of irritation, bravado, and exhaustion as he took slow, deliberate steps toward her, his fingers twitching, itching to finally complete the task the system had forced upon him.
Suddenly, a flashing red box interrupted his monologue.
[SYSTEM ALERT!]
[Your stamina is critical. You'll collapse at zero.]
Sid gasped, shoulders heaving, sweat running down his forehead. Breathing too fast, heart hammering, he muttered sharply,
"Do not dare collapse me again, system. I've been pushing my body to the absolute limit for one and a half days straight. I know what I'm doing."
