Purple Fire Sect!

Ranked tenth among the top ten sects of Yan Country. Though at the bottom of the ranking, it is still an established sect, an immense force in the eyes of ordinary martial artists, and no one dares to disregard the Purple Fire Sect.

Located in a mountainous area of a county attached to Han City, the Purple Fire Sect sits atop the highest peak, known as Purple Fire Peak, at the summit of Purple Fire Mountain!

Ye Xiao sat in Tang Heng's Buick and stopped about a kilometer from Purple Fire Peak, then walked to a steep canyon. Passing through this canyon, Ye Xiao saw a stretch of purple cedar trees. Indeed, they were purple. Ye Xiao didn't know much about Purple Fire Mountain, but he knew it was named so because of the large patches of cedar trees growing on the mountain, and these cedar trees were purple. Though it was winter now, the purple cedar trees stubbornly showed off their fiery purple color.

"Purple cedar, truly lives up to its name!" Ye Xiao said with a smile, "If those timber merchants knew there were such precious purple cedars here, they'd definitely risk their lives to poach them."

Upon hearing Ye Xiao's words, Tang Heng smiled immediately and said, "That depends on whether they really want to risk their lives!"

Tang Heng was right; the flora of Purple Fire Mountain was not something ordinary people could damage.

A stone-paved path spiraled up directly to the peak of Purple Fire Peak. However, because the mountain was covered with purple cedars, it was hard for ordinary people to find this stone path, especially now during the snow season, making the path even harder to notice.

Despite the heavy snow on the stone path, Ye Xiao and Tang Heng walked as if on flat ground, quickly climbing towards the summit of Purple Fire Peak, leaving two rows of footprints in the snow.

In the distance, the grand gate of the Purple Fire Sect appeared before Ye Xiao. It would be an understatement to describe it as majestic; it was even more imposing than the Cold Moon Sect. Of course, compared to the Qiu Mountain Sect, it was slightly inferior, as the Qiu Mountain Sect was the leader of the Yan Country's Martial Arts World, something no ordinary sect could replace.

Evidently, Tang Heng held a respectable position in the Purple Fire Sect. Many people greeted him warmly, and Tang Heng responded to all. The two passed through several courtyards and large halls until they arrived in front of a large building called the Purple Fire Hall.

As soon as Tang Heng and Ye Xiao appeared, a disciple of the Purple Fire Sect approached, looking at Tang Heng with a stern expression and said, "Hui Heng, who is this person?"

Tang Heng immediately said, "Please report that the person Master Yuan Hui wants to see has arrived."

Upon hearing that it was someone "Yuan Hui" wanted to see, the disciple didn't dare delay and quickly said, "Alright, please wait a moment!"

Then the disciple went straight into the Purple Fire Hall.

"He called you..." Ye Xiao looked at Tang Heng.

Tang Heng said, "I belong to the Hui generation; outside, I'm known as Tang Heng, but here I am known as Hui Heng."

"I see!" Ye Xiao smiled and said, "Then why did you just say I'm the person your Master Yuan Hui wants to see?"

"Because only then can we justifiably enter the Purple Fire Hall. Outsiders aren't allowed to enter the Purple Fire Hall at will, even though Rongrong has a good reputation here, she's just a disciple."

Ye Xiao understood Tang Heng's explanation and nodded slightly, asking no further questions.

About a minute later, a girl wearing the Purple Fire Sect's garb ran out from the entrance of the Purple Fire Hall. She stood gracefully; though her face showed youthfulness, she had an alluring figure, undoubtedly a beauty in the making.

"Big brother!" Tang Rong shouted loudly upon seeing Ye Xiao standing with Tang Heng.

Ye Xiao looked closely and realized who else could this girl be but Tang Rong? At this moment, Tang Rong's eyes were red; clearly, seeing Ye Xiao made her truly excited.

In fact, when Tang Rong first heard Ye Xiao was coming to the Northern Territory, she was somewhat incredulous. Even when she made a scene at the Purple Fire Hall, she held the belief of better believing than not. Now seeing Ye Xiao in person, she couldn't hold back her excitement.

Tang Rong ran to Ye Xiao, disregarding any image concerns, and gave Ye Xiao a heartfelt hug, then clung to him sobbing bitterly, filled with grievance.

Tang Rong continued crying, and the people around the Purple Fire Hall were quite shocked. Since Tang Rong came to the Purple Fire Sect, she always gave off an icy vibe, never showing any emotion. Yet now, not only was she hugging Ye Xiao without restraint, she was crying profusely.

She cried for a good five minutes before Ye Xiao slowly spoke.

"Rongrong, big brother has wronged you, letting you suffer." Ye Xiao spoke these words with sincerity. Ever since he was separated from Tang Rong, Ye Xiao had always felt ashamed. It was because of Tang Rong's efforts to ensure Ye Xiao's escape that she agreed to stay with the Tang family.

At this moment, Tang Rong's grievance and pain must have been repressed all this time. Although she wasn't bullied in the Tang family or the Purple Fire Sect, to her, both were outsiders. Only facing Ye Xiao did she feel a sense of warmth.

"Big brother, don't say that. I'm fine; I just missed you too much." Seeing Ye Xiao's guilty face, Tang Rong hurriedly reassured him, not wanting him to blame himself.

Ye Xiao glanced at the entrance of the Purple Fire Hall, where several people stood. These were evidently elders, distinguishable by their attire, unmistakably top experts of the Purple Fire Hall.

Ye Xiao looked at them, and they too looked at Ye Xiao, their expressions serious!

Ye Xiao sincerely told Tang Rong, "Rongrong, that's not a problem. If you're willing to leave with me now, whoever dares to stand in our way, I'll fight them."
