Chapter 128: Out of Control Part 2

Perhaps, in the eyes of the Elf Race, this is not betrayal.

According to the alliance agreements made with the various races, the rights and obligations are limited to the Continent of Aslante. Once they leave this continent, all rights and obligations automatically disappear.

Sometimes ignorance is a kind of bliss.

The Orc High Levels, unaware of the Elf Race's desire to flee, based on the strategy of "sharing cold lips, sharing teeth," assumed that the Elf Race would fully support them.

If the Alpha Kingdom were to unify the Orc Prairie, the power balance between the two camps would not just be disrupted but would tilt entirely in favor of the Human Race.

At that point, even if the Anti-Human Alliance were to push their limits collectively, they could only struggle for a few more days; their demise would be only a matter of time.

...

"Report!"

"Urgent news from the rear: a group of rebels broke through the blockade line and entered the Sanctuary!

According to messages from surviving soldiers, it appears that invaders and Human Strongmen joined forces to ambush our interception troops.

It has been confirmed that two Sanctuary Powerhouses and twenty-eight Eighth-order Strongmen have perished, along with about twenty thousand elite soldiers lost..."

The terrible news brought by the Messenger Soldiers cast a shadow over the meeting. The morale that had been hard won was quickly scattered.

To cut off the source of the invaders, the Orc Empire deployed heavy troops to block the Sanctuary. The initial plan progressed smoothly, reducing invaders one by one, and the situation was moving in a favorable direction.

Unfortunately, plans couldn't keep up with changes; the blockade line that the invaders couldn't break through suddenly turned into a paper barrier due to the Humans' intervention.

For every orc deceived into entering the Sanctuary, the number of invaders would increase accordingly. All previous efforts to slaughter the invaders were now reduced to zero.

Externally, there's the formidable enemy, the Alpha Kingdom, threatening the safety of the Orc Empire; internally, the mad rush of Sanctuary invaders continues to drain the strength of the Orc Empire.

Both are adversaries that will not stop until death, and compromise is not an option.

"The information might be flawed; with the continual victories on the battlefield, the Alpha People have become increasingly arrogant.

Though they might sink further along with the invaders, the chance of direct collaboration is not high.

In previous battles, the troops sent by the Alpha People had attacked invaders. If they were to meet, a confrontation is likely.

After all, these invaders from the Sanctuary are too evil, acting mostly on instinct, far beyond the limits of human acceptance!"

The Silver Moon Wolf Emperor analyzed rationally.

As foes of several hundred years, the Orcs' understanding of the Alpha Kingdom is even deeper than some Alpha People.

Compared to them, the Humans undoubtedly have a higher threshold. What they cannot accept is exceedingly unlikely to be accepted by the Humans.

Though true unification isn't possible, using a 'borrowed knife to kill' approach against the "Orcs" is possible. However, for the sake of morale, the Silver Moon Wolf Emperor decided to suppress it.

Unless the paper window is pierced, this incident remains an accident. If it turns into a deliberate act by the enemies, then it becomes a strategic layout of inside-out assault by the enemies.

This hides a message: the enemies are not worried about the success of the Sanctuary creatures' invasion or gaining control over the Orc Empire.

There are only two possible reasons for such judgment:

Either they have enough confidence in their own strength, believing they can solve all problems; or they have sufficient understanding of the Sanctuary, knowing the limits of these Sanctuary invaders.

Regardless of the situation, it is not good news for the Orc Empire.

"Whether the enemies are united or not, our situation remains the same. I don't have a great idea, but I do have a lousy one.

Directly relay the message to the allies, tell the Elf Race that if they do not send troops within ten days, we will abandon the Prairie and retreat to the easternmost mountain hills of the continent!"

The Bearman Emperor said indignantly.

It is evident that his resentment towards the Elf Race as the champion of doing nothing has been growing day by day.

Originally deterred by the power of the Elf Race, no matter how much resentment there was, it was only enough to keep holding it in.

The situation has evolved to this point; if we continue to endure, the Orc Empire will become history.

Since maintaining the alliance through relations can't help the Orc Empire get out of the predicament, it might as well change the approach.

Using threatening means may not make the Elf Race willing to help, but it is effective enough.

If the Orcs choose to give up, the Alpha Kingdom, which controls the entire Prairie, will become the greatest threat to the Elf Race, keeping the entire Anti-Human Alliance in constant unrest.

After these words, the room fell silent as the Orc High Levels began weighing the pros and cons.

"Let's do it!

Anyway, our relations with the Elf Race are not good. Now that the Human Race is in power, the Elf Race won't do anything to us before this common enemy disappears."

The Boar King was the first to echo.

Without the help of the Elf Race, even if other allies wanted to support us, they are currently powerless. The defeat of the Orc Empire is only a matter of time.

If defeated again, the Orcs' living space is bound to be further squeezed.

A new round of resource contention will begin, and species with insufficient combat power will be eliminated in the shortest time.

Next would be the unlucky races in great need of resources due to their numerous numbers. The constantly thriving Boar Clan with fair combat strength will undoubtedly become the target of public criticism.

Silence was broken, and many Orc High Levels expressed their stances. Besides a few Orc Clan Leaders hesitating in their decisions, most of the Orc High Levels expressed their support.
