Then he checked his notifications. There were a lot and most were just about the points he received, he ignored them all except one.

( You've obtained 5.02 evolution points.) ' That's quite a lot of evolution points.' these are the points he received from eating that man.

Even rank 4 beasts don't give that many points even though they're much larger and he didn't even eat all of him, just half.

' System do humans give more evolution points?' There was no answer. ' I guess I'll have to figure that out myself.'

Then he checked another notification. ( WARNING: Time remaining before next essence wave 223:42:15)

Just slightly over 9 days before the next wave arrives. Ved didn't know if the wave will be followed by another invasion and after seeing the Nameless of Nightmares, he was a bit worried and terrified.

A group of the tower's caretakers brought him a massive tray filled with a mountain of demonic beast carcasses.

' Avery.' he called out, " Yes my lord." Avery appeared behind him like a shadow. Her shadow movement skill was still as impressive as ever.

' Station soldiers in every city under my domain within a week.' " My lord?" Avery was confused by the order.

' They will be stationed there until the next wave ends' " As you wish." She bowed and disappeared into her shadow, even though she didn't understand she didn't question him, it was not her place to question her lord.

Ved started eating his meal happily, unbeknownst to him or anybody in the world, a new threat was approaching.

----------------------------------------------------------

Beyond the spatial crack hidden in the mist was a massive world. It earth was a mixture of red and black.

Desolate without a single sign of plant life for hundreds of thousands of kilometres. The red skies were covered by dark clouds that flashed with thunder and lightning.

Massive storms raged through this world. The seas and rivers ran dry and cracks ran through the earth like colossal snakes.

Occasionally lightning would fall like heavenly spear leaving massive craters on the earth below.

This planet was obviously not suitable for life yet in such a harsh environment stood a massive city that lay on the earth like a slumbering beast.

At the centre of this city stood a gigantic black castle. Within it was a massive throne hall.

Currently multiple figures could be seen inside the throne hall. These figures were huge with red skin and two horns on their foreheads.

At the end of the throne hall were two huge thrones occupied by two beings. A woman and a man.

The woman was over 3 metres tall with a lean muscular figure, her green eyes scanned through the room with ruthless coldness.

The man besides her was larger, standing at over 5 metres tall. His arms were as thick as logs, his upper body was naked and tattoos covered his entire body.

They glared at the group of men kneeling below them. " Is what you say true?" The woman asked coldly.

One of the men nodded, " Yes Boraggal. We found a crack in the world barrier leading to another world, the laws of that world felt unstable, the world appears to be young."

" You do know the consequences of lying to the Boragg do you not?" Asked the woman, the men shivered with fear.

" We know Boraggal, we would never deceive the Boragg or the Boraggal." The woman nodded. Boragg and Boraggal meant king and queen in the orc tongue.

" You may leave." Said the Boragg in a deep voice. After the men left, he looked at Abaro, his mate. She had been with him for thousands of years.

Through years of conquest and war she had stood by him, when all of his friends and family died, she was by him.

It has been 11 thousand years since Orkarro became the Boragg of the orcs. During his reign he has personally conquered two worlds.

On top of the 6 worlds under the control of his race, his empire now ruled 8 worlds but the situation was still dire.

He was losing too many soldiers to the war with the Arkhalam. Their race had 2 creation realm experts as opposed to only one in the orc race, which is him.

There were even rumours they had a hidden sovereign but he didn't believe that. However one thing was for certain, had it not been for the Elves keeping the Arkhalam in check.

His own world would've been long conquered by now, how much of a joke would that be. A race of conquerors being conquered by another.

On top of the Arkhalam he he also had to deal with the invasion of the Nameless and on that front, he was fighting a losing war, they all were.

Their only respite was that the world was still strong enough to limit the existence of the Nameless themselves, so they could only send their minions.

He felt a soft hand touch his, " Do not worry my Boragg, the sun will shine on our people one more, we will restore the glory of our ancestors."

He sighed, Orkarro had the purest bloodline of any orc in the past one hundred thousand years, with a mid legendary grade bloodline.

So it can be imagined the pressure of the expectations placed on his shoulders. Had it not been for the woman next to him, he probably would've broken down by now.

He stood up, his massive body shaking the ground with every step. He stood at the balcony of his palace looking over the city below.

He had thought about moving his people to a new planets and moving the people there to this world ravaged by war.

However those old crones in the council opposed that idea saying this was their ancestral world, they couldn't abandon it.

Were the harsh conditions not helpful in tempering orc bodies, he would've ignored them completely.

Abaro appeared next him," Do you want to check out this new world?" He shook his head, " I can feel it, I can't enter." His vision stretched beyond the crack into the thick mist on the other side.

Infact Orkarro felt it the moment the world barrier cracked, the changes in spatial laws were too obvious but before he could check it out the hunter team appeared to report so he just kept quiet and pretended to not know.
