Ved found himself in a dark place, he felt weightless. All of his senses were gone including the sense of touch.

' Manas, what the hell is happening?' Manas's voice came out sounding with panic.

" You've been put under a hex, it seems she has an artefacts that can strengthen her will, I'll try to guide you to the best of my abilities but don't be optimistic."

Ved grimaced, it seemed that woman was more troublesome than he ever expected her to be.

The projection of himself in his mind jumped back. Ved followed it movements then suddenly found himself flying.

It was a strange feeling, he couldn't tell if he was actually moving or not yet he could feel that he had changed positions.

The projection moved again and he followed it movements exactly, as time went on or so he believes, the more he felt he was getting a hang of this.

" WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" Manas angry shout woke him up. ' I'm doing exactly what told me to.'

" What I told you to?" She sounded even angrier now. " You're doing the opposite of everything I'm telling you to, had you not have regeneration, your body would be filled with nothing but wounds right now."

Ved was confused, ' What the hell are you talking about? If I had been hit I would've felt it wouldn't I?'

Manas was quiet for a while. " I see, it seems this ability doesn't just effect your five senses, your pain receptors are none responsive as well.

Can you use your soul sense." ' No, I've tried.' " I have bad knews, this hex didn't just shut down all of your senses, your sense of direction is also messed up and you can't feel pain, you realise how bad that is right?"

Ved grimaced, people tended to not realise the importance of having functioning pain receptors.

Losing pain receptors on top of all of his other senses was the worst situation possible.

He had zero means to detect any attack or even know if any attack landed on him. ' Can you do something about it?'

" If your sense of direction is reversed, it's possible to adjust but if it changes randomly, then I'm afraid even with my calculations, it would impossible to know how your body will act."

' Can't you just use your ability to see the future or something?' "See the future? I don't have anything like that, it's just probability calculation."

She sounded annoyed at him. " Don't worry though, the more they wound you the stronger you get, their attack aren't effecting you as much as they did before.

However it's strange, neither of them have used their images.". ' Perhaps they think it's unnecessary.'

" Perhaps." She didn't sound convinced. " Time to test the theory, imagine yourself doing the exact opposite of what I'm going to show you."

He nodded and did it. The projection moved to the left and he moved to what he believed to be right through his memory.

He heard Manas sighed. " As I feared, it's completely random. Your mind actually had the correct direction but your body moved forward.

I can't calculate your moves, you're on your own here.". ' Shit.' Ved thought, he contemplated summoning the other avatars but the situation might just be worse.

Realising the situation was dire he decided to got nut. If he lacked the sense of direction and all the necessary senses then he would do the most senseless thing he could think.

He roared, he wasn't sure if his voice came out as he couldn't even hear it himself. Then started shooting everything he can, everywhere.

Lightning bolts, nuclear blasts. He punched and slashed the air. Crushed the ground below, he believed.

He opened his mouth and was about to release black death when he stopped. ' Fuck.'

He remembered Naledi was still close by, if he continued firing everything everywhere she might get hit.

With her strength, she might survive the rest but black death would certainly kill her if she's unconscious and unable to remove it with her will.

He gritted his teeth, Ved was lost on what to do now. If only Naledi was far from here, things would be at least a bit easier.

He could instinctively feel himself changing positions every now and then meaning he was being beaten around by either the wolves or Nicholas and there was nothing he can do about it.

He decided to try one last strategy, it didn't place as much danger to Naledi so it was worth a try.

Then it suddenly dawned on him, he was never their target, Naledi was, meaning they can just take her away and he couldn't even interfere.

He felt anger blazed inside him. " Don't worry Ved, they haven't touched her yet, with you thrashing around like a child throwing a tantrum.

That Nicholas guy is forced to pay attention to you and the witch seemed to be too mentally drained to do anything else right now."

' Her wolves, what about her wolves?' she was quiet for a bit. " They only seem to focus on you, maybe when she imagined them, she imagined their purpose being to take you down, they can't do anything beyond their purpose.

But that's just my thoughts, I could be wrong." ' Can a system even be wrong?' " I'm not omniscient you know?"

Ved relaxed a bit but only a bit, they hadn't touched her yet but who's to say what they will do in the next second.

So the best thing Ved can do is keep Nicholas as busy as long as possible.

Sabrina watched as the dragon created hundreds of weapons around himself. They started spinning around him defensively.

Then he created more every second. Nicholas fought and broke those weapons as easily as breaking glass but more kept coming endlessly.

She was really frustrated, if she could use her image, this fight would've been over really quickly but she really couldn't risk exposing it.

The dragon kept surprising her, after using this void ability, the fight always ended quickly after but not this one.

Not only was the dragon strong, he had an abnormally powerful regeneration. Suddenly she heard a crack.

Ved felt a soft hand on his face. ' I.. felt?', suddenly having the sense of touch was disorienting, then a sweet voice was transmitted to his mind.

' Thank you, I'm okay now.' Ved smiled, ' I'm glad.' then he slumped down and relaxed.
