Ved flew back to his minor world. " Leave me." He said to Avery who was standing behind him.
He took his human form and stood Infront of a huge mirror in his room. What faced him was a handsome man with golden eyes.
Ved looked identical to his former human self but more handsome. His skin was a bit darker than he was before.
He had long silky hair of black and white. Combined with his pure while clothes made of his web, he looked like some super handsome movie hero.
However those beautiful golden eyes reflected nothing but coldness. Then his form changed.
He still looked exactly the same but with long ears, green eyes and long golden hair. He took the form of a dark elf.
He changed again. His skin turned darker, his eyes and hair turned silver, he was now a dark elf.
He obtained their DNA from the battlefield just before retreating. His clones ate enough of them to obtain the complete genetic makeup before turning into blood drops and merging with him.
He turned back into his true form, before him floated a stack of papers left by Avery. They were report on how the war was going.
Things were bad, spiritual beasts were being hunted all over the world. To begin with, spiritual beasts were very valuable to other races.
Especially those with a lineage, their bones and claws made better weapons than even demonic beasts since they could conduct essence better.
Their cores and organs can be used to make elixirs so it made sense why other races would target them so much.
However it still pissed him off. As he was reading a certain page he stopped and sighed.
" You fool." He whispered. The report was about Orochi. The fool got himself killed trying to stop an entire army himself.
Ved closed his eyes and felt his anger boil like lava. Then he opened them and calmed himself down.
Being angry will not solve anything. " Avery " he called out. Avery came out of the shadows.
" Yes my lord." Ved looked at her coldly, she could sense he was angry and the anger was not directed at her yet she still felt terrified, she knew something big was going to happen.
" Send word, every beast is to retreat to this minor world, inform Linglong as well, see if she's interested."
" My lord?" Avery looked confused. " Do it." She bowed, " As you wish." After she left he stood up to leave as well.
After reading her reports he realised they were too scattered which made them easy targets.
To combat this, it was better to come together and form a united defence. Of course this stood it own risks.
If they were defeated they would all die at once. Then an idea struck him and he smiled.
He needed to send a message that his people weren't just sheeps to be slaughtered by the others as they see fit.
" Do you think this is a good idea?" " I have to do it." Manas sighed. " I'm just worried about you."
As soon as Avery left the tower Evergreen appeared Infront of her. " Did he..?" Evergreen asked. " Yes." Avery nodded.
" The order has been issued, we are to call everybody here." Evergreen sighed with relief. " Hopefully this will make resisting easier."
Ved on the other hand teleported two avatars out of the minor world. They took to the sky under the stealth trait.
Both headed in the same direction.
----------------------------------------------------------
Alfadon, the city of elves. This was a newly built city taken from the humans of this world.
The elves changed it a bit to match their artistic tastes. The city was surrounded by a massive wall of steel.
On the wall grew long vines with beautiful flowers on them. The vines were on the city gate as well.
Currently a line of elves could be seen going in and out of the city. Some of them were carrying large carcasses of spiritual and demonic beasts.
Some were dragging chained humans and spiritual beasts. Although the humans were protected by the Eternal Dawn Empire.
Some races like elves who didn't fear the empire still enslaved them if they got the chance.
Amongst them was a dark elf dragging a human on a chain. The chain had runic arrays drawn all over to it to seal the humans power.
When they reached the gate a rank 4 elf stopped them. " Your identification please." The guard said outstretching his hand.
" Is that really necessary? you know nobody would dare try to sneak into our city so why does this matter."
" It's protocol." The guard replied with a flat expression. The rank 3 dark elf took his identification card and gave it to the guard.
The guard scanned it on some artefact then gave it back to him. He pointed the artefact and scanned him then nodded.
The elf went inside the city still dragging the human behind. They went into a stone house near the edge of the city.
After locking the door behind them they both sighed. The chains came loose, " First phase complete, second phase start when the night falls."
These two were Ved's avatars. The forms they took were from an actual dark elf and human slave.
He used the sub skill skin walker to assume their forms. Although he couldn't use their abilities, he could perfectly match their auras and soul signatures.
Not a single person in this world would be able to see through his disguise and using mind eater on top made it even easier to mimic their personalities and mannerisms.
Not only did he look like them, he had their memories as well. As night came, both avatars used stealth to hide themselves.
Maintaining skin walker was already mentally draining, even more so than basic transformation.
Using other abilities on top drained his mental energy even faster. He was already feeling a headache coming his way.
He had to work fast and be gone my morning or he will stand the risk of damaging his mind.
The two spread out and went in different directions. Their target was specifically the inner parts of the city.
That's where the leaders and nobles of the elf race resided. He placed something on a conor of a hide wooden house.
As he walked back he saw an elven couple walking and laughing together. They looked nothing like the monsters who murdered children of his race in cold blood.
Or at least they would if they weren't wearing teeth made from a young beast as a necklace.
Before dawn, the two avatars left the city unnoticed.
