Angelica collided with the undead army. Their death aura tried to effect her but her golden metal energy destroyed it.
She stabbed, a ray of golden light shot out from the spear and pierced thousands of undead soldiers.
Yet instead of falling like expected they continued lunging at her. She frowned, Sbonga laughed at her.
" Oh captain, it will take more than that to take down my undying army." She didn't need him to remind her.
Taking down these things will certainly take more effort than she expected. She ran through the army like a golden lightning bolt.
Her spear turned into a golden blur and everywhere she passed, heads and limbs flew yet no blood came out.
She figured if she couldn't kill them, she would cut off their limbs so they can't even move.
Sbonga realised her plan too but he wasn't worried. Instead he smiled mockingly. Black smoke flew from his hand into the undead.
Their limbs moved on their own like they were drawn with strings and merged back into their bodies. Angelica clicked her tongue.
She didn't stop and continued cutting them into pieces while running towards him. These weaker undead could do nothing to stop her.
When she was only a few hundred metres away from him, she pulled back her arm preparing to stab her spear forward.
Golden light coalesced at the tip of her spear. With the assistance of the vessel spirit, the process was made much faster and smoother.
She stabbed her spear through the air, the golden light turned into a thin ray of light. Suddenly four figures appeared Infront of Sbonga.
Two orcs, a human and a tiger. Each at the peak of rank four. Their bodies were covered by black fog strengthening them.
Even so they were not as powerful as they were when they were still alive so her ray cut through them like they were pieces of paper.
The ray continued shooting towards Sbonga, just as it was only a few metres away from him the space bent Infront of him.
Goldi appeared like a shadow and slapped the ray away. It was deflected and shot to the side piercing through multiple undead soldiers.
Sbonga laughed. " Do you like my new toy? He's a specially made one, took a lot of effort and resources.
Unlike the rest, he's one of only two who retained their abilities with minimal loss of strength. Do you want to find out how good he is?" He smiled at her.
Angelica gritted her teeth. Corpse Goldi attacked, space bent around his body and he appeared Infront of her like a shadow.
He slapped at her, space bent Infront of his palm creating a tremendous force. Angelica swung her spear to deflect the palm.
Just as they collided Goldi twisted his wrist his arm bent around her spear, she was caught off guard and hit on the chest.
She coughed up blood and flew back colliding with the undead behind her. Their bodies shattered from the impact.
She stood up and looked at Goldi then smiled sadly. " It seems you haven't lost your edge even in death."
She understood how terrifying Goldi was, if you based his strength solely on his aura you would be in for a lot of trouble.
A lot of people especially amongst the beast race underestimated how important martial arts was.
Except for him, very few beasts including their king practiced martial art and from what she heard, king Ved might even be better than Goldi now.
A true martial arts expert can breach the gap between them and a character who is physically stronger than them.
Angelica with the enhancement of her more pure essence plus her divine spark was faster and stronger than Goldi.
Her techniques were also stronger but she understood that taking down Goldi would take more than that.
He moved and teleported behind her, she stabbed her spear behind but just as it was about to stab his neck he twisted it.
She heard a snap as if her his neck broke, the spear passed by him generating winds so powerful they drew scratches on his face.
However he didn't bleed which was something she noticed all the undead couldn't do. Before she could pull back her spear his hand shot out and grabbed it.
He pulled himself towards her, his golden body towered over hers and his tongue shot out.
As a frog he had a long and powerful tongue but unlike a normal frog, his tongue was barbed and was as sharp as a sword.
It cut towards her neck like a snapping whip. The tongue seemed to skip space and reached her in a blink of an eye.
She knew even with her speed she couldn't dodge it so golden light condensed around her neck forming an incredibly strong metal like structure.
The sound of clashing metal reverberated across the battlefield when they clashed. Angelica grinned.
" Got you." Chains appeared around her spear and bound his hand to it. Spikes came out of the metal around her neck and stabbed his tongue holding him in place.
Before he could react she shot an energy spear into his head. The spear pierced right through leaving a hole the size of a fist.
She new this wouldn't be enough to kill him so she prepared a second attack, Sbonga realised what she was trying to do and waved his hand.
Five other rank 4 undead lunged at her. Strong as she was she couldn't let their attacks land on her body.
She crouched and dodged a massive sword swinging above her from the orc then did a back flip and kicked him on the chin.
A tiger tried to bite her with a mouth so huge it could swallow her whole. She pulled Goldi onto it path.
However what she expected did not happen, just as the tiger was about to bite Goldi he kicked it on the face sending it crashing hundreds of metres away.
Sbonga frowned, he waved his hand and healed Goldi's wound. Although undead didn't need their brains Goldi was special.
Having his brain wounded would slow him down. Just as Angelica was about to attack Goldi her spear grew heavier and crashed on the ground.
She gritted her teeth and released Goldi then pulled back. " Damn old ghost, still troublesome even after death."
