"Your Majesty, how may I help you?"
Felix asked, surprised by Alex's call.
"A problem has just arisen in the mission," Alex's voice sounded urgent and rushed.
"A problem? What happened? Is Your Majesty having trouble leading your team?"
Felix knew that his aunt or his mana general, as he alternated in calling her had plans for Alex and wanted him to mature as quickly as possible. Therefore, Felix wanted His Majesty to have a little experience of what it was like to lead, since that would vary greatly in the future.
Felix had given Alex a team of hunters and pushed the thief John toward him so that he could count on a hunter who had graduated from the academy. In this way, Alex would have someone he could rely on.
And most importantly, Felix knew that Alex would give his all, since the mission to which he had sent him would be where he would rescue his sister. Thus, Felix would kill two birds with one stone.
Seeing Alex calling him, Felix wondered what had happened.
"There are indications that there's a three-star hunter at the mission site," Alex reported his suspicions and the plan he had drawn for his team.
"Your Majesty, you should retreat and wait for reinforcements. I'll send a three-star hunter to take over the mission. Please, fall back and wait for the agent,"
Felix said worriedly. He knew that the current Alex would not be able to handle a three-star hunter at his current level. He was the Professor's son, that was a fact but Alex was not the Professor.
"I can't retreat now. The enemy already knows we're here. I highly doubt they'll let us withdraw without a fight. And more importantly, you said my sister is being held here, didn't you?"
"Yes, she is. An undercover agent confirmed that Lúcia is there."
"I'm sorry, Felix, but I'm going in. I'll tell John and Feliciana to fall back and wait for the agent you're sending. I'll try to save my sister and the other girls."
Felix felt the resolve in Alex's voice. He understood the other's anguish, because he would have done the same if he were in such a situation. He would never take away someone's chance to save their family.
"All right, but try to stay alive until the three-star agent arrives. If you run into an enemy you can't handle, try to buy time. Three-star hunters are arrogant maybe he won't take you seriously, I hope."
"I have to go. Send reinforcements quickly."
The call was ended on Alex's side. While they were talking, Felix had already contacted a three-star agent from the association.
"Felix, you called?" A woman wearing a light blue suit entered and handed Felix a bag of candy.
"It's been a while since I've seen you, Omega Platinum Hunter." Felix accepted the bag of candy and smiled at Felicia, who had just walked in.
"It's good to see you too." Her sweet voice rang amid the sound of several people working, each focused on their respective computers and screens.
"I'd love to chat since you just got back from the United States, but I have a mission for you," Felix said, showing a certain urgency.
"That's new. You seem worried about something what could it be? I thought you'd only called me to laugh at the embarrassment I went through in the United States of America," Felicia said, blinking her beautiful eyes as she adjusted her lovely blond curls.
"As for your embarrassment, I still want to hear all about it, but let's leave that for another time," Felix said, flashing a mischievous, boyish smile.
"What do you want me to do?" Felicia said, rolling her eyes.
"I want you to go to this coordinate and eliminate a three-star hunter; we have no information about him, but you need not worry the criminal branch he belongs to is low-level."
"This is what you called me for? I thought it would be something more." Felícia shrugged and approached Félix.
"I called you because you are fast enough to get there quickly; the mages who can use long-distance teleportation are all on mission," Félix said, sighing.
"We still have a shortage of high-level mages?"
"Yes, mages are rare and high-level ones are even rarer, and with the associations of large countries like, estados unidos, Rússia e china offering better conditions, it has been difficult to recruit high-level mages."
Felícia gave Félix a strange look before speaking, somewhat annoyed.
"I understand; these countries are so proud that, although sovereignty is equal between countries when it comes to agreements and conventions, the paradigm is different."
"We'll talk about that another time."
"Who is he?" Felícia looked at the information of an agent she had never seen before.
"His Majesty Alex Wellny."
"Wellny?"
"Yes, he is his son. Make sure to keep him safe; he is leading the mission you will intervene in."
"All right, I'm leaving then."
"Cyborg."
Felícia turned, frowned, and said coldly,
"I already told you not to address me by class; I have a name, you know?"
Félix shrugged.
"Hurry up and go; His Majesty is waiting for you. If he dies you'll have serious problems."
Félix gave Felícia a look that made her shiver.
"Aunt, what brings you here, mana?"
Crimson eyes, resembling a shining liquid, looked at Félix without emotion.
"Haven't I already told you to address me as General?"
"Mana, why do you keep picking on me?" Félix said, reaching out his hand toward the General, who took a candy and handed it to him.
"How is Alex doing on his mission?"
"A three-star hunter ended up showing up."
"Did he retreat?" the General asked, raising an eyebrow.
"He decided to save his sister anyway."
"And why are you so calm? You're not hysterical." Thinking for a moment, the General looked at Félix and asked,
"You sent someone after him, didn't you?"
Félix replied with a mischievous smile.
"Why didn't you consult me before sending someone?"
"I thought I had the authority and autonomy to handle ongoing missions as I saw fit," Félix said, shrugging.
"Alex isn't an ordinary agent, you know. You delayed the mission I assigned to him, and now you decide to interfere."
A gust of wind made everyone working there shiver. They all trembled in fear, but Félix didn't flinch.
"And what are you going to do?" Félix said with a smile. The General raised her fingers to her temple and sighed in annoyance.
"Who did you send to help him?"
"The Cyborg," Félix replied.
"Call her."
Félix looked at the General and refused to obey, but the General's eyes flashed for an instant, and Félix gave in.

Felicia crossed the sky at an absurd speed. On her back, a thruster rose, propelling her to an inhuman velocity, and her legs released a dazzling jet of blue light.
In just five minutes, she had reached her destination. Her eyes turned mechanical and scanned the area below; in a single second, countless pieces of information filled her mind.
Felicia saw the association's mission vehicle of the Hunters. Her vision allowed her to see inside, and after collecting the necessary information, she continued, crossing a kilometer and a half in mere seconds.
Felicia spotted a residence being destroyed from the inside out. Her bionic eyes scanned the entire building, allowing her to understand what was happening.
She saw Alex and his knights fighting against Fumaça. Having located her target, Felicia decided to eliminate him.
Her right hand transformed into a cannon containing a high concentration of energy. Her eyes locked onto her target, ready to unleash a burst that would instantly vaporize him.
The energy was calibrated to eliminate an ordinary three-star hunter. She adjusted the cannon according to the aura emitted by Fumaça.
Before Felicia could fire the cannon, a voice echoed in her head.
"Do not interfere."
The voice was identified, and the appearance of a person was linked before even half of the first syllable was spoken.
"General," Felicia said in surprise.
"Do not interfere, do you hear me?" the voice echoed again in her head.
"Understood, General."
Felicia retracted her cannon, making her right hand return to its normal form.
"General, according to my analysis, Alex has only three minutes of life left. Even if he miraculously wins, he'll still die," Felicia said, analyzing Alex's infected body.
She then looked at Alex's knights with a furrowed brow there was nothing like them registered in her database.
"Looks like Félix will have to update me again," Felicia muttered to herself.
"You don't need to worry; I'll take care of him."
This time, the voice Felicia heard didn't come from inside her head.
Beside her, high above the clouds where she hovered, a figure appeared as if by magic.
Pointed ears, blond hair more beautiful than hers, crimson liquid eyes, and a majestic presence.
"General, you're here!"
Felicia looked at the General, who was watching the battle unfolding below them with undisguised interest.
