========================
A/N:
Yet again, I've found myself in a rut I can't get out of. Uni is taking up all my time right now.
And regrettably, that means I'm going to have to disappoint you all.
This Sucks. I know. I hate it.
But I don't want to rush this story for the money. I'd much rather just do it the justice it deserves, and release a little slower.
The money I'll earn will be significantly less. Probably even none at all, since the Algorithm will drop me like a hot potato the moment I stop these daily releases.
But I'm exhausted. So utterly burnt out. Writing feels like I'm trying to sprint through the Lake of Hindrance. My mind just refuses to do anything. And that's not conducive to writing a good story at all. And its not conducive to my mental health, or my university workload.
So this is basically just me saying, I'm sorry I can't be more consistent. All of you have the right to rage in the comments. By all means, please do.
But...I did my best. No one can take that from me. Not Webnovel. Not Readers, free, paid or privilege. I did my utmost. And it had me staring at a tree for two hours this morning.
I'm done. Well-done. Fucking cooked. Toasted. Roasted. Fried. Whatever the fuck.
My brain is just going "NO."
So, for now, Infinite Regeneration will be going on a short break. This is NOT a hiatus. It'll only be gone for a week or so AT MOST, just so I can re-charge my batteries, sort out these godforsaken University deadlines and exams, and come back actually WANTING to write, as I did when I first started.
Because that's when I do my best work.
And to those of you who have continued to support me through my inconsistency, continued to send me powerstones and golden tickets, some even going as far as gifting me...
I want to give you my best work. Because you deserve nothing but my best. And what I've been writing in the last few days is definitely not my best. So I'll see you in a week, if you do decide to stick with me that long.
-Teishoku.
P.S.
The first 400 or so words of the next chapter is below.

"Well, my Gift might have...rejected it."
Intisak's left eye twitched.
"Your gift...rejected it..." he repeated.
I stared on, seeing the growing amalgamation of anger and disbelief in his eyes.
"Intisak," interjected Abisai, "Let de boy speak. You'll find what he has to say most interesting."
The Chieftain's brows raised slightly before he forced himself into calm.
I nodded, then continued.
"Recall what I told you my gift was, Chieftain. Understand what it means when my Gift acts."
His eyes narrowed, then slowly widened as he remembered my words.
"It doesn't just regenerate the damage I sustain. It also improves me in a way that makes it so I don't have to endure the same type of damage again."
"So, in this case..." my arms spread out wide in the sand, "...My gift saw all the changes induced by the Bloodline as 'damage'. And it regenerated that damage, returning me to my original form...but also changing me in a way that made the Bloodline itself...redundant. And the only way to do that...was to induce changes that were superior to the Bloodline in every way, whilst still maintaining my human form."
Intisak didn't blink. His jaw hung a little loose, thin lips parted as his mind raced.
I continued, "The result...was a Physique."
Intisak's face contorted in undisguised shock. Abisai remained silent.
The faceless voice had deduced that much the moment I first returned to the Caverns. It made me question *how* he had been able to sense such a thing. But, I knew I wouldn't get any answers about that.
That same voice was the one to break the silence, "Your Physique...speak its name. Tell Abisai *exactly* what it says in your words."
My gaze flicked between the System Prompts and Intisak's shocked expression, as if still unable to accept what I had acquired.
My head finally swiveled back to face the Monolith, sand crunching underneath.
"The Words call it the 'Subdermal Hyper-Scorpathic Frame'. But I haven't yet had the chance to rea---"
I caught myself.
"---To hear what it can do. But I know my attributes are a far-cry beyond what they were before."

I'm going to put in a bit of filler here, just so I can post this damn Announcement. Not about mgs or anything.
----------------------
The ravine walls loomed higher and higher as we went, and then there it was.
The Outpost.
The cliff-face ahead split open into a wide mouth of stone brick. A cave, but shaped by far more than nature. Great wood pillars reinforced the arch, iron bands driven deep into the rock. And to the sides of the entrance, stood massive Guard Towers, though they couldn't compare to the modern architecture of Earth.
Soldiers manned the gates, crossbows slung at their sides. Some leaded against the walls with the casual confidence of men who thought themselves safe. Others stood rigid, executing their duties to a tee.
I could already hear the noise within as we approached the gate---boots striking stone, the clang of hammers, voices raised in orders and arguments.
When Freya had called it an outpost, I'd expected a small clearing protected by wooden palisades and spears stuck into the ground. This here was more akin to a small town, carved straight into the cliff.
"Freya!" I heard someone shout from above. A guard, his hand raised in recognition, "Back already? Did ya forget sum'n? It's only been a day, ya know!"
Freya lifted a hand in return, a genuine smile gracing her face, "Nay, Herthal, just found us an ambitious explorer here! Thought I'd show the kid to the outpost so he doesn't find himself dead by the morn!"
We passed under the gate only to have Herthal shout back from behind us, "How in the Hells diddi get past all of us though? Only ways in 'n out the settlement is through here!"
Gerard's voice boomed back at the man, "Why don't ya mind ya own business, ya bollocks!"
"Hey, Hey, I's only curious is all!"
Freya shook her head helplessly, "We'll report in later, Herthal. The kid's barely got clothes on."
_Humans...truly are peculiar._
The defenses were heavy, but also unserious. My eyes flicked back to the ramparts and the towers, all lined with giant crossbows.
_So it is like that..._
_They prepare for war, but keep the mood light for morale._
