Chapter 414

Atlas sneered inwardly, gratitude surging once more for his earlier decision.

If he had hesitated even a little longer…

The Endless Mountains Holy Land would already be walking a road of annihilation.

"Atlas," the Blood Marquis said calmly, glancing at him,

"I have to say—you're very smart. Your choice saved the Endless Mountains Holy Land."

"…"

Atlas coughed twice, neither denying nor affirming.

"Good," Drake Supreme sneered coldly.

"Then from today onward, Endless Mountains Holy Land is an enemy of my Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets."

"I don't know who your enemy is," Ethan spoke indifferently, shaking his head.

"I only know one thing."

His gaze swept across Malrik and the others like a blade.

"None of you are leaving today."

"Haha!"

Malrik suddenly laughed loudly, eyes filled with ridicule.

"If you had continued to maintain that Intent World, perhaps escape would have been impossible for us," he said mockingly.

"But you were too arrogant and dismantled it yourself."

He lifted the Sky-Suppressing Turtle Shell in his hand.

"Your strange Intent World has already fallen. With this incomplete artifact, we can come and go freely."

"What can you do to me?"

While speaking, he swallowed several pills in succession. Thick spiritual energy surged through his body as his pale face recovered a trace of color.

"Yes," Arza added cruelly, lips curling.

"And we've already sent people to Azure Origin Dao Sect."

Her eyes glittered viciously.

"Your sect will soon be destroyed. Your brothers, your closest relatives, your friends—one by one, they'll be tortured to death."

"Torture…?"

Ethan's eyes narrowed.

He looked Arza up and down slowly.

The calm, gentle gaze sent a chill straight through her scalp.

"You," Ethan said softly, smiling,

"are a very good woman."

Arza's heart thumped violently.

"I won't kill you today," Ethan continued leisurely.

"I'll spare your life, cripple your cultivation, and hand you over to my brothers in the Blood Tavern."

"And as for my friends in the Azure Origin Dao Sect—"

His smile deepened.

"It's up to you to repay the fright they received."

Silence fell.

Several Blood Tavern cultivators subconsciously swallowed, throats rolling.

They truly had never tasted a woman of this level.

"Shameless words," Arza spat coldly, suppressing fear.

"But let's see how you plan to keep us here."

She waved her hand sharply.

"Leave!"

At her command, the remaining Supremes turned, preparing to flee.

"Haha," Ethan laughed softly.

"Leave?"

He flicked his finger.

Clang—!

A holy-grade spiritual weapon flew out.

The Prisoner Dragon Lock.

In an instant, countless dark chains shot out like venomous dragons, weaving through the space and crashing down around Malrik and the others.

Rumble—!

The chains intertwined, forming a massive sealed cage that locked the surrounding space completely.

"This—!"

Malrik's expression changed violently.

"A top-tier holy weapon?!"

"You actually have something like this?!" he roared, veins bulging.

The incomplete artifact in his hand was powerful—but it was defensive and sealing in nature. It had no ability to break out.

"Why so surprised?" Ethan chuckled.

"I already have divine weapons. Is it strange to have a few holy-grade spiritual weapons as well?"

"Haha!" Malrik laughed bitterly.

"Even if you trap us, what then?"

He raised the Sky-Suppressing Turtle Shell.

"With this artifact, you still can't do anything to us. Once your strength is exhausted, we'll break this cage and escape."

"You'll be left staring helplessly."

He sat down cross-legged without hesitation.

"Everyone," Malrik said loudly, "maintaining a holy weapon consumes enormous strength. With this incomplete artifact, he can't harm us."

"Recover first."

The others hesitated briefly—then followed suit, sitting down to circulate their power.

Ethan almost laughed at the sight.

"You place too much faith in a broken artifact."

A faint blue flame ignited in his palm.

The air trembled.

"Go," Ethan said calmly.

"Pure Azure Flame."

He tossed the flame forward.

Boom—!

The original spiritual flame exploded outward, instantly enveloping the entire cage. It burned not flesh, but blood, spiritual energy, and soul.

"What flame is this?!"

"Original Spiritual Flame?!"

Enzo Vernal's face changed drastically.

The Sunflower Heart Sutra was a wood-attribute technique. Flames—especially innate and original spiritual flames—were its natural nemesis.

"This monster—!" Enzo roared.

"Such a powerful flame can actually penetrate the Sky-Suppressing Turtle Shell?!"

Malrik's face turned ashen as faint blue flames began licking around his body.

"This flame—" he hissed, "it's burning through defenses!"

"There's no need to panic," he forced out.

"It's just flames—"

Before he could finish, his eyes widened violently.

"Ahhh—!"

A shrill scream tore from his throat.

"It burns the soul!" Malrik screamed.

"This flame can burn the soul!"

The others had already realized it.

One by one, Supremes clutched their heads, faces contorted, teeth clenched as they screamed.

They frantically gathered soul power to resist the Pure Azure Flame.

But resistance was fleeting.

"This won't work," Arza gritted her teeth, eyes red.

"We must break out!"

If she truly fell into Ethan's hands…

She didn't even dare imagine the outcome.

Dignity. Pride. Power.

She would rather self-destruct.

Even if she died—she would drag others with her.

Minutes passed.

Malrik and the others relied on the Sky-Suppressing Turtle Shell to resist the flame.

But the balance was clearly tilting.

Malrik's face was deathly pale.

"Everyone," he gasped, "we're done for."

"Ethan's original spiritual flame is too terrifying. It carries divine power—this isn't something we can contend with!"

"Damn it!" Drake Supreme clenched his fists.

"Didn't you say he was exhausted?!"

"He already possesses divine power," Malrik said bitterly.

"His endurance far surpasses ours."

"We kicked a steel plate."

"This is all your Pavilion's fault!" someone roared.

"Wrong intelligence—flawed plans!"

"Haha," Arza sneered coldly.

"Then tell me—can you break through this holy weapon?"

Arguments erupted.

Useless.

Malrik's eyes hardened.

"Enough."

"One last attempt," he said hoarsely.

"Gather all strength. Activate the turtle shell's sealing power and break the cage."

"If we fail—"

He stared at Ethan with bloodshot eyes.

"We die sitting, await reincarnation, and seek revenge in the next life."

Enzo Vernal and the others fell silent.

Then, one by one, they nodded.

"Fine."

"Let's do it."

Ethan watched calmly, smiling faintly.

"Oh?"

"You're not planning to struggle to the death?"

He stepped closer to the cage and extended his palm.

"Are you all enjoying yourselves?" Ethan asked softly.

"Ethan, you deserve to die!" Malrik roared, mobilizing every last drop of power.

"Stubborn resistance."

Ethan's expression turned cold.

With a thought—

An exquisite, ancient, and simple compass appeared
