Chapter 579(Magic Castle Extra Chapter)

"And when it completely reaches the level of its ancestors, it will open more eyes."

"The more eyes it has, the purer the bloodline, the higher the talent, and the more terrifying the strength."

"The Twelve Golden Eyes recorded in ancient texts are the highest level ever observed for a Dragon Leviathan Fish."

"In this state, its bloodline has already approached that of the Winged Dragon clan."

Ethan's voice was calm, almost indifferent, as if he were merely stating an ordinary fact.

Yet those words landed like thunder in everyone's hearts.

"The Winged Dragon clan…?"

Elara's pupils shrank. She inhaled sharply.

That was a race spoken of only in legends—true dragonkin, ancient overlords of the skies, beings that once suppressed entire eras. Even a trace of their bloodline was enough to elevate a demon beast into a terrifying existence.

"This Dragon Leviathan Fish…" Elara said with a bitter smile, "appears extremely rarely in the Demon Territory. Most records place it exclusively within the Training Trial Secret Realm."

"For Mr. Ethan to recognize it so clearly… your knowledge is astonishing."

She wasn't flattering him out of politeness.

She was genuinely shaken.

"I admire you," Risa said sincerely, cupping her fists toward Ethan.

Strength alone was frightening.

But strength combined with insight, experience, and composure—this was true terror.

Only now did Risa truly understand how narrow her own vision had been.

There really were people beyond people. Skies beyond skies.

Ethan's gaze never left the Dragon Leviathan Fish.

Twelve golden eyes rotated slowly across its massive head, each pupil cold and ancient, as though gazing down upon insects.

Such a creature being trapped inside the Training Trial Secret Realm was, in truth, a kind of imprisonment.

With so few living creatures in the swamp to devour, and little exposure to slaughter and killing intent, its growth had been severely stunted.

Had it existed in the outside world…

Ethan narrowed his eyes.

It would likely already be an Ultimate Demon Lord.

Perhaps even an Perfect Demon Lord.

"The Dragon Leviathan Fish has extremely low intelligence," Ethan murmured to himself. "But its instincts are terrifying."

"I wonder…"

A thought surfaced in his mind.

Could the Infinite Ten Thousand Beasts Technique subdue it?

The answer was uncertain.

The Infinite Ten Thousand Beasts Technique did suppress demon beasts—but suppression depended on relative strength and mental dominance.

Against a creature of this level, attempting to forcibly imprint control without first breaking its will would be suicidal.

First, it must be defeated.

Only then could domination even be considered.

"Everyone," Ethan said suddenly, his tone sharpening.

"Strengthen your mental defenses."

At the same time, his eyes flickered.

He felt it.

A subtle, spreading fluctuation—like invisible ripples across still water.

Mental energy.

The Dragon Leviathan Fish was gathering it.

"So it really can launch mental attacks," Ethan sneered softly.

This was no ordinary roar.

With twelve golden eyes awakened, the Dragon Leviathan Fish's voice had already transcended physical sound. It directly shook the sea of consciousness.

If unguarded, even a Mahayana cultivator could have their mind shattered in an instant.

At best, they would lose all combat capability.

At worst, their consciousness would collapse entirely—leaving behind a living shell.

Kara's expression tightened. Without hesitation, she gathered her mental energy inward, forming layered mental barriers.

Elara followed suit, her face pale but resolute.

Even Risa, already injured, gritted her teeth and stabilized her sea of consciousness.

The Dragon Leviathan Fish opened its abyss-like mouth.

Golden light gathered within.

The twelve eyes glowed simultaneously, and the mental pressure in the air skyrocketed.

On the other side, Ember and the others had not yet realized what was coming.

After all, Dragon Leviathan Fish with Twelve Golden Eyes existed mostly in rumors. Very few had ever encountered one that had fully awakened its bloodline.

They knew it was powerful.

But they did not know how dangerous its roar truly was.

"Eryon," Ember said coldly, her gaze flicking toward Ethan. "Keep an eye on him and his group."

"Don't let them escape while chaos breaks out."

"Can you manage that?"

Eryon crossed his arms, lips curling slightly. "Miss Ember, rest assured."

The next instant—

He vanished.

So did Seris and Kairon.

When they reappeared, they were already positioned around Ethan's group, forming a loose encirclement.

Not attacking.

Not retreating.

Simply watching.

Like predators waiting for prey to misstep.

They did not underestimate Ethan.

Anyone capable of slaughtering Zeph and two Heavenly Palace elders was not someone to be taken lightly.

If this man had hidden cards, they would not give him the chance to use them.

After the Dragon Leviathan Fish was dealt with, the three of them would move together.

At that point, escape would be impossible.

"Mr. Ethan," Elara said quickly through mental transmission, her voice tense. "The three who just moved are from the Slaughter Palace—the White Tiger clan."

"The one in front is Eryon. His combat power is terrifying—stronger than Zeph. In Blue-Wave City, he's only slightly inferior to Lunara and Ember."

"As for the other two… I've never seen them before. But they are definitely not weaker."

Ethan nodded almost imperceptibly.

"I know."

His gaze swept across the three figures.

The White Tiger clan's lineup was formidable.

Eryon himself was dangerous.

The white-bearded elder… terrifying.

Only a single step away from Ultimate Demon Lord.

And the seemingly harmless young man with delicate features…

Ethan's eyes lingered for half a breath longer.

That one was the most dangerous.

His realm was lower.

But the killing intent coiled deep within him was sharp, restrained, and frighteningly pure.

This one… could probably contend with Lunara head-on.

"Don't panic," Ethan said calmly.

"They're wary. They won't act recklessly."

"With the Palace of the Four Cycles gathered here, open conflict isn't in our favor."

"When the Dragon Leviathan Fish strikes, we'll seize the chance to disengage."

"Our priority is the treasure."

His voice was steady, decisive.

Not a trace of doubt.

On the other side, Lunara suddenly felt a chill run down her spine.

She turned her head slightly.

Ethan's gaze met hers across the battlefield.

His lips moved soundlessly.

A message entered her mind.

"Prepare your mental defenses."
