Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 176: Beta Male Massacre

Aveline didn't know what to say now. All the members of her clan just stared in disbelief at his nephew, Arden.

He had just challenged all the male members of the clan, leaving her unsure of how to respond.

Aveline then finally turned to Garion, her brows furrowing.

"Sir Garion... this situation... if we leave it like this, everyone will just come rushing to him. You understand that, right?"

Garion grinned, completely unbothered. "Then let them come at him."

Aveline blinked. "Excuse me?"

Garion chuckled, tilting his head. "Don't you know how we fight, Miss Avelin? It's never about numbers, but who lasts longer."

Aveline gave him a puzzled look, unsure if he was joking or not.

Before she could speak again, Raviel stepped forward and explained it to her.

"He's telling the truth, Aveline. Every time his disciples fight, they prefer to go against the group instead of individuals."

He gestured toward Dahlua, who was leaning casually against a wall.

"See her? She fought a dozen cultivators at once and became the champion of the once-a-decade youth tournament."

Dahlia raised her hand lazily. "To be fair, it just takes too long to fight individually."

Raviel ignored her and continued. "And the twins? They defeated everyone in three rounds to win my clan's tournament."

Aveline blinked again. "That's just... absurd."

Garion laughed. "Absurd? Maybe. But it's their style. That's just how the God Gym members are in the tournament."

Raviel looked over at Arden, who was rolling his shoulders and stretching his arms.

"Don't worry about him, Aveline. He'll be fine fighting against them... probably."

Garion laughed, adding. "He's right. Just let them come. Arden's stronger than he looks. You don't need to worry about him."

Aveline sighed, realizing that there was nothing that could stop this madness. "Fine. If that's the case..."

She turned toward the crowd and began to announce the match.

"With Sect Leader Garion's permission, I declare this match an open challenge! Anyone who wishes to fight him..."

She turned and pointed at Arden. "Step forward! Whether it's one-on-one or all of you at once, face him in the arena!"

The crowd was shocked after hearing what she said.

The female members and elders frowned and looked horrified. "All of them... at the same time? Is she serious?"

Meanwhile, the male members grinned widely as their aura flared one after another, feeling quite excited.

One of them stepped forward, cracking his knuckles. "Finally, we got the chance to crush that handsome face of his."

Another laughed. "You'll regret coming back here, pretty boy."

Meanwhile, Arden stepped into the center of the arena and smirked.

"Come on then, beta males! Let me show you what a real alpha looks like."

---

Ten men jumped down into the arena one after another, bursting their aura out.

Each one of them carried a weapon, whether it was a sword, spear, or other sharp weapon.

Some of the female elders looked nervous, while the male elders crossed their arms with excitement.

Garion whistled softly, grinning. "Ten at once, huh? Guess they're quite eager."

Dahlia also grinned, leaning forward. "This is going to be good."

She turned around, gesturing the other disciples to look at Arden.

"Watch closely, everyone, about how my junior brother fights. He's going to teach you all about what real controls are."

In the middle of the arena, Arden stood perfectly calm.

He dug his feet slightly into the dirt, keeping his breath steady.

He lowered his stance and raised both his hands, but not in a typical martial pose, but more relaxed and open.

Aveline narrowed her eyes. "That stance... I've never seen anything like it before."

Garion smiled proudly. "Let me tell you that it's called [Aikido]. It's not about attacking first but about using your enemy's power."

Aveline looked confused. "Using your enemy's power? How can it be?"

Garion only smiled, waving his hands. "You'll see. Just watch the match."

The ten men surrounded Arden, forming a loose circle. One of them, a tall man, gripped his spear and sneered.

"No weapon? You really think you can fight us barehanded and win?"

Arden tilted his head slightly and smirked. "Weapons? I don't need any."

The man growled and charged forward, lunging and aiming straight at Arden's chest.

Arden stepped to the side, and his movement was smooth and effortless.

He caught the spear with one hand, twisted his body, and used the man's own momentum to flip him over his shoulder.

The man was slammed into the ground with a loud thud, surprising the crowd.

Then two more men rushed him from both sides, one with a sword and the other with a heavy hammer.

Arden moved again, moving like flowing water as he sidestepped, grabbed the hammer-wielding wrist, and then...

He redirected the force of the swing towards the swordsman, causing both men to crash into each other.

Garion clapped once, grinning wide. "Perfect! That's what you should do."

Raviel was amazed. "I see. He's not fighting them head-on but basically letting them beat themselves."

Arden spun around, catching another attacker by the arm.

He shifted his stance, pulling the man forward, and sent him flying with a clean shoulder throw.

Dahlia laughed loudly. "Nice! That's three down, seven to go!"

The remaining man hesitated for a brief moment, not knowing what to do.

Arden stood tall in the center of the arena, brushing a bit of dust off his shoulder.

He looked at them and grinned. "Is that all? You talk big, but the moment someone fights back, you freeze."

He pointed at them all and laughed. "Just as I expected, nothing but weak, beta males hiding behind your pride."

All seven of them frowned, their faces red with anger after being called weak.

"You arrogant bastard!"

"Don't get cocky just because you know a few tricks!"

The seven men roared and charged at Arden at the same time, not caring about anything.

Arden didn't back down. He just waited for a moment before suddenly moving.

In one fluid motion, he caught the arm of the first attacker, twisted, and redirected his force perfectly.

He spun his body, using his opponent's own momentum and also a bit of his mana to throw him straight into the rest of the rushing cultivators.

There was a loud crashing sound as bodies collided and tumbled across the arena floor.
