Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 223: The Twins Betray Their Mom

Dahlia, Arden, and the twins were scattered across the training hall.

Each of them was handling a group of elders who were still sweating and trembling after switching to the God Physique Path.

All elders who converted were before the early Third Realm or late Second Realm, so none of them could awaken their Unique Physiques yet.

Behind them, dozens more clan members were in the middle of the process.

Those in the First Realm handled it fine. They gritted their teeth, focused, and followed instructions.

But the Second Realm…

Every few minutes...

"AAARGH!! MY CORE!!"

A scream shook the hall.

Another one fell to his knees.

Another one grabbed his chest and rolled on the floor.

Dahlia rubbed her temples. "Yep… there it is again."

Arden sighed, calm but tired. "At least they're alive."

Clara pointed at a trembling elder in the fetal position. "Barely."

Eliza lifted her foot, nudging a groaning man out of her way. "Next! Don't lie down! We need space!"

The hall smelled like sweat, panic, and crushed egos.

Meanwhile, at the far side, the twins stood with stiff backs and awkward faces.

Because the person in front of them was Rachel, their mother figure.

Rynar scratched his cheek nervously. "Uh… mom… are you ready?"

Rynor held his hands up like he was approaching a wild animal. "We're going to, uh… crush your mana core now."

Rachel smiled warmly, the same gentle smile that raised them from chaos to decent human beings.

"It's alright, boys. Do what you need to do."

Rynar's expression cramped. "Mom… don't say it like you're sacrificing yourself…"

Rynor swallowed. "We can… We can skip you if you want..."

Rachel flicked both their foreheads at the same time.

PAK! PAK!

"Don't be silly," she said, hands on her hips. "If everyone else is doing it, of course I will too."

The twins rubbed their foreheads and exchanged helpless looks.

Rynar exhaled. "Fine… but we're doing this carefully."

Rynor nodded. "Super carefully."

Rachel laughed softly. "I raised you two brats. I'm not scared."

Rynar glanced at the trembling elders around them.

"…You should be."

Rachel pinched his ear instantly. "Language."

"A-ah! Okay! Okay! Sorry!"

Rynor stood straight like a soldier. "Mom, please don't hit me before the operation."

Rachel let go of Rynar and sighed. "Just do it."

The twins straightened, taking deep breaths.

Rynar placed his hand near her lower abdomen.

Rynor steadied her shoulders.

"Mom… we'll be gentle. As gentle as we can."

Rachel nodded with a soft smile. "I trust you. Go on."

Both twins froze for a moment.

Then Rynar clenched his fist.

"…Alright. Mom… I'm destroying it now."

Rynor held her steady, whispering, "Brace yourself, Mom."

And...

CRACK!

Rynar pushed his mana into her core.

Rachel's body jerked violently.

Her eyes widened...

"AAAHHHH!!"

Her scream echoed through the training hall like someone tore the world in half.

The elders flinched.

Some froze mid-cultivation.

Rynor tightened his grip on her shoulders. "Mom! Quickly! Use it! Pull the mana into the cell!"

Rachel gritted her teeth so hard her jaw shook.

"D-Damn… that hurts… okay… I'm… I'm doing it!"

Rynar pressed closer. "Follow the flow! Push everything into the new cell!"

Rachel's legs trembled. She dropped to one knee but kept her focus.

Her breath came out in sharp bursts.

"Haa… haa…! I can feel it! The cell… it's eating everything!"

Rynor shouted, "Good! Force it! Don't let the mana scatter!"

Rachel's hands slammed onto the floor as she leaned forward, veins standing out along her neck.

"It's… transforming! I can feel it!"

Rynar's eyes widened. "Mom! Hold it! Just a bit more!"

Energy surged through her body, bright and wild, swirling like wind around her.

A faint glow pulsed under her skin at her abdomen.

Rachel clenched her fists, her voice shaking, half-screaming, half-growling.

"C-COME ON!! FINISH IT!!!"

And then...

A burst of soft light spread around her.

Rachel collapsed onto her hands, breathing hard but with a small grin.

"…It's done," she whispered.

The twins knelt beside her instantly.

Rynar grabbed her arm. "Mom! You okay?!"

Rynor cupped her back. "Say something!"

Rachel raised a shaky thumb.

"I'm… fine… stronger… but you two… are grounded later…"

Both twins exhaled in relief... then froze.

"…We're WHAT?"

Rachel weakly flicked Rynar's forehead again.

"You made your mother scream louder than childbirth. Of course you're grounded."

The twins groaned at the same time.

Arden snorted from a few steps away, arms crossed.

"That's what you two get."

Eliza chuckled, adjusting an elder's posture. "Yep. Never mess with a mom."

Clara grinned wide. "Especially that mom."

Dahlia walked over with quick steps, holding a small cup filled with something suspiciously thick and oddly colored.

"Elder Rachel, drink this," she said, handing it over.

Rachel accepted it with a warm smile. "Thank you, dear."

She took one sip.

Her expression instantly twisted.

"…Ugh... why… Why is it always this horrible…?"

Dahlia laughed, hands on her hips. "Because if it tasted good, it wouldn't work. Just finish it."

Rachel gulped it down with a full-body shiver.

"I survived the core destruction, but this… this might actually kill me."

The twins nodded in agreement, whispering:

"Yep. That's the real torture."

Dahlia shot them a look. They both instantly straightened like soldiers.

"Good. Now..." Dahlia turned sharply to the elders behind her, clapping her hands once.

"Back to training! You, lift that weight higher. No slacking. And you... push more! Elbows straight! I said straight!"

The elders groaned miserably but moved.

Arden helped one of them up, steady and calm. "Keep breathing. Slow and steady."

Clara nudged another elder with her foot. "Come on, old man! If you can complain, you can lift!"

Rynar and Rynor exchanged glances and sighed dramatically.

Rynor whispered, "We created monsters."

Rynar nodded. "Master made them this way."

Dahlia pointed at the twins without even turning around.

"You two! Stop whispering! Go help the next group!"

The twins jumped.

"Yes, ma'am!"

Rachel watched them all with a tired but fond smile.

"…So this is the God Gym…? Loud… exhausting… a little insane…"

She looked at her trembling hands, then at the glowing mana swirling faintly around her.

"…But it feels alive."

Dahlia glanced back at her and softened.

"Welcome to the real family, Elder Rachel."

Rachel smiled warmly.

"Happy to be here… even if everything hurts."
