Garion hung in the air, blood dripping slowly onto the road below.
Each drop hit the stone with a dull sound.
He lifted his head and looked at both of them.
"…You two," he said hoarsely. "You really think this is the end?"
Morveth smirked.
"Of course," he replied calmly. "You're bound. Sealed. You're nothing more than meat waiting to be cut."
Zathrek laughed along with him, arms crossed, ash rolling lazily off his body.
Garion suddenly laughed.
It was low, rough, but steady.
"Let me ask you something," Garion said. "Eating my flesh made you stronger, right? Strong enough to become a Duke."
Morveth raised an eyebrow.
"And?"
Garion's eyes sharpened.
"Don't you think that means I'm way stronger than you?"
Zathrek scoffed. "Stronger than a Demon Duke? Don't make me laugh."
Morveth shook his head slightly.
"You're sealed," he said. "Powerless. Whatever strength you think you have doesn't matter anymore."
Garion smiled.
"Yeah," he said. "You sealed my mana."
Morveth watched closely.
Garion's chest rose as he took a breath.
Then...
[Gravity Hole]
The space around Garion darkened.
His body turned pitch-black, like it was swallowing light itself.
The air around him twisted violently, pulling inward toward his body.
A massive suction force erupted.
The ground cracked.
Loose stones lifted into the air and shot toward Garion.
Broken debris, dust, and even blood were dragged inward.
Morveth's eyes widened.
"…What is this?" he demanded. "How are you using mana?"
Garion laughed softly.
"You really don't get it," he said.
The suction intensified.
Morveth felt his footing slide forward.
Garion continued calmly.
"You sealed the mana I release outside my body," he said. "The mana I circulate through space."
His blackened body pulsed.
"But this skill?" Garion continued. "It doesn't come from outside."
Morveth tried to reinforce his seals.
Nothing responded.
Garion looked straight at him.
"Every cell in my body is a mana core," he said. "The mana inside my cells?"
He smiled wider.
"You didn't seal that at all."
Morveth's expression finally cracked.
"…Impossible."
He tried to activate [Lock of Judgement] again.
Sealing marks slammed onto Garion's body once more, crawling across his chest and arm.
The restriction was real. The seal was complete.
Garion's body was still sealed.
Yet...
The pull did not stop.
The blackened space around Garion continued to twist inward, growing heavier by the second.
Morveth's eyes widened.
"…It's sealed," he muttered. "I sealed you."
His voice rose in anger.
"Then why is your skill still active?"
Garion laughed.
A loud, open laugh, despite the blood still dripping from his body.
"Didn't I already tell you?" Garion said. "It's useless."
Morveth roared.
"What the hell are you talking about?" he shouted. "Outer mana? Mana inside cells?"
His voice cracked with frustration.
"It's all mana! How can it not be sealed?"
Garion shook his head.
"Haha… right," he said. "I forgot."
He looked straight at Morveth.
"You're a demon," Garion continued. "And of course you're stupid when it comes to bodies."
Morveth snarled. "Watch your mouth!"
Garion's smile sharpened.
"You seal mana that flows," he said. "Mana that moves outside the body. Mana that circulates through space."
The pull intensified.
"But my power?" Garion continued calmly. "It's not flowing."
He tapped his chest lightly.
"It's stored. Inside every cell."
Morveth's breathing turned ragged.
"…No," he muttered. "That's impossible."
Garion lifted his head.
"And now," he said, "you die."
Morveth's eyes widened in panic.
"No!" he shouted. "I can't die! I'm a Demon Duke!"
Garion nodded.
"Of course you are," he said. "And that's exactly why your death will be glorious."
The gravity warped harder.
Morveth screamed as his body was dragged forward, his feet leaving the ground.
"Let me tell you something," Garion said, his voice steady.
"The Black Ash City?"
Morveth struggled, clawing at the air.
"It wasn't destroyed by a Demon Gate explosion," Garion continued.
Morveth shook his head violently.
"No… no…"
Garion's eyes were cold.
"It was destroyed by this."
[Gravity Hole]
"So basically," Garion finished, "you're about to die to the same thing that erased a Demon Gate."
Morveth's face twisted in horror.
"…NO!" he screamed.
The pull surged.
There was no time for another word.
The Demon Duke, Morveth, was dragged forward violently, his body twisting as space itself collapsed inward around him.
The runes carved across his flesh flared out of control, seals activating one after another in desperation.
"LOCK!" he tried to shout.
Nothing responded.
The force dragged him completely off his footing, tearing him toward the center as the ground beneath him shattered.
Then he was gone.
Swallowed whole by [Gravity Hole].
The road went silent.
Garion stood there, his body still darkened, the crushing pull slowly fading.
He let out a long breath and straightened his posture.
"…Damn," he muttered. "That feels good."
He rolled his left shoulder and flexed his fingers. The stiffness was gone.
The resistance that had locked his body earlier had vanished completely.
"Finally," Garion said. "I can move properly again."
Around him, the demons froze.
Zathrek stared at the empty space where Morveth had been.
"…The Duke," he whispered. "Duke Morveth… died?"
His legs trembled.
Other demons backed away instinctively. Some dropped their weapons. Some fell to their knees without being told.
"This... this isn't possible!"
"That was a Demon Duke!"
Fear spread fast.
Garion looked around slowly.
Then he smiled.
"And now," he said calmly, "it's your turn."
Zathrek's eyes widened.
"…Wait!"
Garion lifted his hand.
The air bent again.
This time, the pull was stronger.
Much stronger.
[Gravity Hole]
The ground shattered outward.
Stones, weapons, bodies... everything was dragged toward Garion.
Demons screamed as they were lifted off the ground, clawing at nothing.
"Mercy!"
"Please!"
"We'll serve you!"
Garion laughed.
"You should've said that before," he replied.
Zathrek tried to run.
He didn't get far.
The pull caught him mid-step.
His feet lifted off the ground as if the road itself had rejected him.
Ash exploded from his body as he struggled wildly, arms flailing, claws scraping uselessly through the air.
"NO!"
His face twisted in pure terror.
"DAMN YOU, HUMAN!" Zathrek screamed. "DAMN YOU!"
He reached out, trying to grab onto anything.
Nothing held.
The pull intensified.
Zathrek was dragged backward in a blur of ash and broken stone.
Then...
He vanished.
One by one, the remaining demons were ripped off their feet.
Some screamed.
Some begged.
Some couldn't even make a sound.
Their cries were cut short as the gravity collapsed inward, swallowing them whole and leaving nothing behind.
Then... silence.
The road was empty.
Garion let the power fade and stood alone.
He looked at the ruined path and shook his head.
"…Yeah," he said quietly. "That went about right."
