Defying the Fate of Beheading

Chapter 182: Want to See You (5000 Words)_3

Clusters of roses surrounded an exquisite box, inside of which lay a bottle of perfume.

"What's it called?"

"[Longing to See You]."

With a flutter, Beatrice's face turned red.

This guy is really getting more and more straightforward.

Louis blushed slightly: "Is it too straightforward?"

Beatrice touched her burning face and said:

"Now you realize?"

Louis let out a light hum and said:

"This is how I truly feel. You've pulled me ashore, you can't just abandon me now."

Beatrice said nothing, just held his hand a little tighter.

Louis chuckled and said:

"I actually thought of a tagline for it."

Beatrice's gaze turned inquisitively towards him.

Louis said:

"I want to meet you, you choose the place."

"The forest, the desert, the lakeside at dusk."

"The prairie, the ocean, the street corner in morning mist."

"Just don't let it be in a dream."

Beatrice's eyes sparkled.

To Louis's surprise, he found himself blushing under her gaze.

He lowered his head, reached out, and handed over the bouquet.

Just as Beatrice reached out to take it, Louis's right hand dipped into the roses, and a ring appeared in his hand.

Subconsciously, Beatrice covered her mouth.

Louis said nothing, kneeling on one knee, he slid the ring onto her finger.

The significance of perfume lies in, when you smell the familiar scent elsewhere, memories will overwhelm you.

Louis hoped she would cherish their time together.

Tucked in her heart.

So, many years later, when she encountered the familiar aroma again, the scene from today would immediately flood her mind, and they would share a knowing smile.

Beatrice flung herself into Louis's arms.

The emotions pent up within the girl burned like flames, greedily wanting to consume Louis completely.

She tilted her head, reluctant to release his lips, avidly savoring his warmth.

Louis was no different.

Their breaths grew quick and unsteady.

After a long while, when they finally separated, Beatrice's eyes were misted over.

With a thud.

Louis found himself pressed onto the bed by Beatrice.

"Don't move."

She said to Louis in a near-commanding tone.

But looking at her flushed cheeks, the words carried no intimidation; instead, they fueled Louis's impulse.

The urge to pin the future queen beneath him and relentlessly tease her.

Beatrice snorted softly:

"Staying by my side is a very dangerous affair, do your best, my Young Prince."

Rebellious feelings surged in Louis, and he retorted without hesitation:

"I think you're more dangerous than any of them."

"Tsk... Beatrice, what are you doing?"

Beatrice's hands grabbed onto the tail trapped under Louis.

She leisurely flicked her fangs over his tail, like a conqueror reigning over Louis.

"I told you, there's a reward."

"No, not there... Tsk!"

...1,000 words omitted...

Moonlight crept into the room, shyly slinking away.

The lunar glow cast over the room, blending their shadows together.

For a long, long time.

Beatrice let out a cough.

Gently rubbing her swollen cheeks, unable to speak for quite some time.

"Take it easy."

...

The next day.

Sunlight streamed into the room.

Perhaps because of the previous night's antics, when an early-rising Louis looked at Beatrice in his arms, she seemed like she was dusted with a thin frost in the morning light.

"Louis..." she mumbled in her sleep.

"I'm here."

He only realized after speaking that Beatrice wasn't yet awake.

He chuckled silently, gently lifting her hair to reveal her delicate face; her brows furrowed slightly, as if trapped in a nightmare.

Louis kissed her on the forehead.

"Take it easy."

His voice was a bit hoarse.

Holding Louis, Beatrice's expression gradually relaxed, and soon enough, her hand began to wander restlessly.

As if sensing his breath, Beatrice's nose twitched, blearily opening her eyes, looking at Louis who was quietly watching her, taking a long while to respond.

Instead, like a kitten, she snuggled closer in his embrace.

Relishing the inexplicable sense of peace, she finally realized.

"Tsk... is it already the next day?"

She felt as if she'd crossed time.

She's not that kind to indulge the pleasures of X, how could she have played all night?

The aftermath of shame left her with none of the princess's composure.

Louis directly picked her up and said:

"Good morning, dear wife, I'm very satisfied with last night's reward!"

"Don't talk about it in front of me again!!"

Beatrice panicked.

So much so, she didn't even notice the "dear wife" address.

The atmosphere last night was so right, her original reward upgraded, upgraded, and upgraded again.

Almost to the point where progress was filled out completely.

Now waking up, she felt embarrassed by her actions the previous night.

"Beatrice, are you mad?!"

"Ugh, but last night was so happy!"

"Damn, why is this man so tempting!"

Seeing Louis snickering by her side, she got annoyed and directly entwined herself onto him.

"Don't, don't move!"

Louis panicked.

If this continues, he might not be able to guard the final gate.

"Alright~"

Beatrice pouted, now wrestling with a troubling thought.

Is Louis perhaps too enduring?

He couldn't imagine, if it really came down to the final step, how miserable she would be.

She stretched lazily, only to find her clothes were a bit tattered.

She glared at Louis:

"Hands up."

Louis obediently complied.

Then Beatrice just stripped him of his top.

Not long after, clad in just Louis's shirt, Beatrice dashed off to freshen up in the room.

After cleaning up thoroughly, Beatrice shouted:

"Qian, bring me something..."

Louis: "Wait, I..."

Qian had already pushed the door open gently, moving in front of Beatrice.

"...I haven't changed clothes yet."

Louis finally finished the sentence.

Qian, who had just placed new clothes into Beatrice's hands, paused.

Beatrice was stunned too.

A moment later, Qian's face flushed red.

Poor her could only leave behind the words "I'll go find some clothes for the prince," then turned and ran.
