10x Rewards: Becoming Invincible With My Sign-in System

Chapter 182: The Final Vestige

Cali reached the Outer Turrets in no time, excited for her battle. All of her previous battles in the Supremacy Games had been easy for her. But this was different.

She finally got the chance to face a Rank 6.

Soon, the towering figure of a man walked out from the other side, glaring hatefully at her. She even detected killing intent in his gaze, which confused her greatly.

"You seem to hate me a lot," Cali said, taking a step forward. "But why?"

An incredulous look appeared on the Fighter's face as he asked, his voice filled with suppressed anger, "You don't remember it?"

"Am I supposed to?" Cali asked in return, tilting her head in confusion. "Have we met before?"

The Fighter gritted his teeth in anger and ripped apart his armour with his bare hands, showing his scar-filled chest. "Do you recognise these?"

"Uh! No, I don't have the habit of checking men's chests," Cali said, giving a glance at his scars. "Looks pretty rough though."

"You gave them to me!" The Fighter shouted. "And now you'll pay for these."

"I did?" Cali blinked in surprise, before giving a deeper look at the scars. "Hmm, I might have. Well, you're just one of many, so I don't remember."

"I'll make sure you do!" The Fighter launched himself forward, carrying himself with powerful momentum even in his weakened state.

Although she still didn't recognise him, Cali was never one to back down from a fight. So, she just smiled and hurled herself forward, with a single word escaping her lips.

"Boost!"

They collided in the middle, their fists slamming against each other with such terrible force that it sent shockwaves all around them, damaging the minions coming near them.

They didn't stop there. Just as Cali was getting overpowered by his strength, she smiled and shifted her weight to kick his belly.

Sensing her intentions, the Fighter countered quickly by adding his own leg in the way. With a sonic boom, the forces collided yet again, sending a great impact coursing inside both of them.

The Body Pathway allowed one to strengthen every single part of their body, including skin, flesh, bones, marrow, organs, and even smaller components within.

Even in their weakened forms, both of them released enough power to affect those strengthened organs. Still, they held on as the two of them continued to exchange blow after blow.

Sonic booms became common, as every single attack broke the sound barrier, while they themselves turned blue, killing all the Minions and giving them level ups in the process.

"Haha!"

Cali laughed after receiving a terrible blow to her ribs. She was at a disadvantage because of her lower Rank and also because of the Fighter's combat techniques, so it wasn't a surprise that she was being overpowered.

His technique allowed him to penetrate through defences and gain a boost the more he was damaged. It was due to his strange Affinity with Blood, even though he wasn't a mage. The more he bled, the stronger his attacks became.

But she still laughed in happiness because she genuinely enjoyed this battle. Finally, someone was giving her a hard time, pushing her to the limits and forcing her to use her combat techniques beyond their usual limits.

After dodging a feint from her, the Fighter lowered his posture and punched at her belly. Feeling as if a massive beast had slammed into her with all its force, Cali grunted and was pushed back.

The Fighter paused, taking deep breaths. A Rank 6 Tank could go on for several minutes without breathing, but he was currently weakened and had also pushed all his strength into the battle.

Even he needed a short break to catch his breath.

"You're good!" Cali said, still laughing between grunts of pain. "But do you remember how I gave you those scars?"

"I know!" the Fighter said, taking a step forward. "I won't let it happen again, you lowly bitch."

"Same insults again. At least get creative," Cali shook her head in disappointment and stood back up, her eyes blazing with excitement.

A single word once again left her mouth, as if declaring her intentions to the world itself and forcing it to bend to fulfil her wishes.

A surge of power coursed through her body, shocking the Fighter as they once again clashed.

Their HP dropped rapidly, as they intended to attack without defending at all. Punches cracked open their armours, even though they were supposed to be made of good quality materials. Blows dealt heavy damage to each other until they were both down to low HP.

This also meant the Fighter was brimming with boosted power. His crazed smile said it all, as he slammed his leg forward, cracking the ground as a shockwave stunned Cali for a second.

Taking advantage of it, he punched at her, but she instead increased her weight using her armour, making her body drop down despite being stunned.

The Fighter was surprised, and that was all Cali needed. She hurriedly changed the armour's weight again, and like a coiled-up serpent using its body to launch itself into the sky, she pushed herself upwards.

Her clenched fist landed directly on the Fighter's jaw, shattering it in an instant as she then proceeded to rain down a barrage of heavy punches filled with her boosted power onto his chest.

[Snow Domain Takes the First Kill]

As the Fighter dispersed into the atmosphere, Cali dropped back onto her butt with a satisfied look on her face. She wiped the corner of her mouth and said, "Come back for more scars."

...

On the Outer Turret of the Gold Lane, Elara stood calmly with her long blonde hair tied in a high ponytail. Her emerald green eyes stared ahead, with sheer confidence swirling within them.

In her hand, she held a curved bow nearly the size of her body. With a shade of dark brown and golden vein-like linings, it looked majestic and imposing.

Crouching behind her, Xavier stared forward and said, "You sure about going all out?"

"Yes. Just make sure to hinder the Tank. Forget about the Marksman," Elara nodded and said. "That's my responsibility."

"Got it!"

Soon, the Tank and Marksman of the Ash Domain also reached the Outer Turret. The Tank was a short, dwarf-like man with a round belly and a big shield in his hand, while the Marksman was a young woman with long, flowing black hair, her face hidden behind a skeleton mask, as she carried her bone-white bow as well.

Elara took a step forward, not even bothering to talk as she drew the string and muttered, "Ring of Thousand Hands!"

In the next moment, her hands turned blue as a thousand arrows made of moonlight rained down upon the enemies. The sky itself changed, turning bright from the moonlight as the surroundings also turned darker.

The Marksman's eyes widened in pure shock and disbelief as she stood rooted to her spot. The Tank moved before her, raising his shield as it grew in size and covered both of them.

For a few seconds, the arrows continued to rain endlessly from the skies, ready to skewer any and all beings. Worse than that were their destructive capabilities.

The Tank's feet sank into the ground as he gritted his teeth and tried to hold back the assault. He couldn't even understand how someone could possess such power even in her weakened state.

Just as the rain of moonlight arrows ended, he felt four layers of yellow light rising from around him. He grunted and slammed his shield down, breaking the spell before it could stun them.

The Marksman snapped out of her shock and used a skill to dash back, while also hurriedly drawing a crimson-red arrow on her bow.

But before she could even fire, a thick bolt of light flashed before her eyes, blinding her for a second. In the next moment, she felt the Tank move before her as something slammed into the shield and pushed him back onto her.

"Retreat!" the Tank muttered, his voice laced with fear.

The Marksman didn't try to push her luck and dragged the Tank back into their Turret's range. She had already noticed his HP bar dropping by more than half within seconds, so she knew they needed a different strategy here.

On the other side, Elara looked at her retreating enemies with eerie calmness and said, "No, you don't escape!"

With that, she pulled the string again. Her eyes blazed with a green hue as green mist leaked out of her fingertips before taking the vague shape of an arrow.

"The Final Vestige!"

Her tranquil voice echoed across the battlefield as the green mist surrounded her in an ethereal glow before she let the arrow loose.

The sky changed once more, gaining a greenish hue as the arrow shot past the Turret at a speed that put sound itself to shame.

Before the duo of the Tank and Marksman could even react, the arrow arrived before them and exploded into a brilliant mist of green.

What happened to them after the mist covered them remained unknown, as only the sound of killing echoed in everyone's ears.

Despite it all, Elara stood silent and calm, as if what she had done was something entirely normal.
