She had been thinking about waiting until after they finished elementary school, but to her surprise, Lin Feng had been even more considerate than she was. He had already found the perfect house.

However, despite her joy, she was still worried about the children's schooling. "Honey, let me handle this," he said. "Go pack your jewelry and skincare products, and make sure to label the boxes."

Zhang Yuxi set aside some skincare samples for that evening and packed up everything else. Half an hour later, Lin Feng had finished packing and labeling his share of the items.

"Honey, I'm going to check on the children."

Third Treasure, of course, had packed his things neatly, much to Lin Feng's satisfaction. Second Treasure was another story. As a girl, she was naturally meticulous. Her previously carefree personality had become much more attentive after serving as the deputy class leader for a few years. While her packing wasn't quite as orderly as Third Treasure's, it was still very good.

He opened the door to First Treasure and Fourth Treasure's room. Hmph. Just as I thought, they're playing. Packing? What packing?

The movers arrived and began loading the boxes onto the truck, one by one. Third Treasure's violin was in its case, but the piano was not only expensive but also something he cherished deeply. As the movers handled it, Zhang Yuxi couldn't help but remind them repeatedly, "Please be careful, thank you!"

Lastly, there were the pets' supplies: dog and cat food, cat litter, bowls, beds, and so on. They wouldn't know if they had forgotten anything until everything was unpacked.

The first floor had only a lounge, which didn't count as a bedroom. The second floor had five rooms: a storage room, a small study, and three bedrooms. The third floor, besides the master bedroom, had two additional rooms, with the rest of the space taken up by a walk-in closet and a large study. Their plan was to eventually renovate the first-floor lounge, the second-floor storeroom, and the small study into guest rooms. Even with seven official bedrooms, there were still many other usable rooms. There was plenty of space for Third Treasure's music room and Second Treasure's workshop.

"There are three bedrooms on the second floor," Lin Feng announced. "And besides Mom and Dad's room, there are two more on the third floor. Take your pick!"

After a quick discussion, Third Treasure and Second Treasure chose the third floor. They preferred the quiet, while First Treasure and Fourth Treasure were self-aware enough to know they were the rowdier pair.

"Alright, now that rooms are assigned, let's get them organized!" Lin Feng said while unpacking. "When we have more time, we can slowly renovate your bedrooms to your liking!"

The children, however, were completely captivated by their new home and paid no mind to future renovations.

"Yay!"

Once they were mostly settled, Lin Feng started making dinner. That's right, they had brought the refrigerator with them.

After dinner, with the sun not yet set, the family went out to play in the yard.

"Watch out for mosquitoes!" Zhang Yuxi called out worriedly. "Come here and spray on some repellent!"

Watching the kids play, Lin Feng had an idea. "Honey, why don't we clear out a patch of land? I could plant some vegetables!"

Zhang Yuxi had no objections. "That sounds good! I got used to having fruit trees in our old yard. This bare lawn still feels a little strange to me!"

Lin Feng smiled. "I'll have those fruit trees from our old place transplanted here!"

The couple began to plan out the yard. One-third would be a play area for the children. One-third would be for their vegetable garden. The final third would be for fruit trees, a swing set, and a small pavilion.

The children loved the idea and couldn't wait to have a swing. The old tree in the yard was perfect for it!

It looked like this summer vacation was going to be a busy one. A new home always came with new projects.

The long, busy day did nothing to diminish Lin Feng's energy that night.
