After a busy day, everyone returned to the villa, quite tired. Lin Rui, along with the other adults and children, had all had a great time.

For the next three days, they went shopping in New York. On the fourth day, the group went to the University of Rochester. Since the city was close to Canada, right next to Lake Ontario, the climate was generally on the colder side.

First, they checked out the dormitories. The conditions were all quite similar, and single rooms were available. Lin Feng wanted to provide the best for Third Bao. "I checked the apartment next door; it's quite nice. Do you want to live there instead?"

Zhang Yuxi, however, was worried. "Would that be safe? Maybe staying on campus is better."

After weighing their options, they chose the apartment next door, which had the best security system. Needless to say, the apartment was expensive. It was lavishly decorated and equipped with a full kitchen and every other amenity.

This time, besides enrolling in her classes, Third Bao also had her musical instruments shipped over on a private plane. Lin Feng cleared out a room especially for her to store them.

After getting everything settled, Lin Feng returned to the hotel feeling very downhearted. He now had another child studying abroad.

While he was mulling over his feelings, Little Bao finished her bath and came toddling out, with Zhang Yuxi chasing after her.

"Come back here, you haven't dried yourself off properly!"

Clutching her chubby duck toy, Little Bao imitated a duck's quack and approached Lin Feng. As if presenting a treasure, she announced, "Daddy, I just gave birth to a little duck in the water. I'm a duck mommy!"

Zhang Yuxi scooped her up in her arms. "Then what is Mommy to the little duck?"

Little Bao thought for a moment. "Grandma!"

Looking at his wife and daughter, Lin Feng pushed aside the trace of sadness in his heart. "Then what am I?"

"Husband!"

"Huh? Why?"

"Because you're my husband!"

Little Bao quacked the word "husband" at Lin Feng. Lin Feng tried to correct their new family dynamic, "I should be Grandpa!"

But Little Bao insisted on calling him husband, so Lin Feng had to let it go. Once children reach a certain age, they start saying all sorts of things and developing their own ideas.

This trip meant that Third Bao wouldn't be returning with them; she was officially starting her college life. Lin Feng spoke English, and the quadruplets knew some as well, so normal communication wasn't a problem.

Since the school was nearby, Lin Feng took Third Bao to get her ID documents, which would make it convenient for travel later on. Juggling fun with errands, the next few days flew by.

"Here, this is a supplementary card from Daddy, take it," Lin Feng said, his voice thick with emotion. "When you're on your own, eat whatever you want and buy whatever you want. Don't worry about the money; Daddy has plenty. Also, take good care of yourself. Be extra mindful of your safety, and send Mom and me a WeChat message every day. When we're free, we'll come visit you. And if you ever feel homesick or don't want to study abroad anymore, that's okay. You can come back and continue your studies at home!"

The sadness on Lin Feng's face was plain to see. Third Bao nodded obediently, agreeing to everything. She accepted the bank card not for the money, but to ease her father's worries.

Standing to the side, Zhang Yuxi's eyes grew red. "Third Bao, dear, if anything feels uncomfortable, you have to tell Mom and Dad. Being on your own is different from being at home. You must, must take good care of yourself. If you need, Mom can find an 'auntie' to help you out. The most important thing is that you're comfortable!"

Third Bao smiled faintly. "Mom, Dad, please don't worry. I'll take good care of myself!"

Her other siblings all said their own heartfelt goodbyes. Third Bao and First Bao's schools were close, only about a two-hour flight apart.

"Second Sister, I'm leaving now," Third Bao said.

"When I have time, I'll come back and find you."

Second Bao immediately burst into tears. "Third Sister, you have to take good care of yourself!"

Third Bao teased her, "Second Sister, I'm even better at taking care of myself than you are!"

This left Second Bao unsure whether she should keep crying.

After Lin Feng explained what was happening, Little Bao let out a wail. Her crying threatened to break the dam of emotions everyone had just managed to hold back. Little Bao refused to let Third Bao leave, repeating over and over, "I want Third Sister!"

It took a long time to console her. Finally, tired from crying, Little Bao nodded. "Third Sister, you have to buy toys for Little Bao! And we have to video call and phone call!"

Third Bao gently touched her little cheek, her gaze tender. "Okay, I'll buy lots and lots of toys for Little Bao!"

Only then did Little Bao seem satisfied. "I'll miss you!"

That simple sentence nearly made Third Bao cry. "Third Sister will miss Little Bao too! Be a good girl at home, eat your meals, and sleep well, okay?"

Third Bao nodded.

Nearby, An Lan and Lin Rui also offered some words of advice. After the goodbyes were over, they comforted Lin Feng's family, saying that it's inevitable for children to grow up and leave. In the future, they would be busy with work, marriage, and their own children.

After seeing off Third Bao, they saw off First Bao.

On the way back, Lin Feng felt a rare sense of melancholy. Soon, Fourth Bao will leave for Jingcheng to join the national team. In another year, Second Bao will graduate…

On the flight home, Lin Feng looked at the sleeping Little Bao and gently pinched her chubby little cheek. He could still vividly remember how the quadruplets looked at Little Bao's age. To think I first met them when they were only two months old, and in the blink of an eye, I've cared for them all the way to college!

After his wave of sentimentality passed, Lin Feng carefully placed Little Bao in her little bed.

"Daddy…" Little Bao murmured, sensing his presence.

Lin Feng responded softly, "Daddy's here. Go to sleep."

Little Bao nodded, shifted into a comfortable position, and turned over to sleep, making Lin Feng's heart melt.

When they got home, Lin Feng checked the time and called his children who were abroad. Everything was fine.

With two fewer people in the house, Little Bao was the unhappiest. At first, she couldn't get used to it at all and would video call Third Bao at every opportunity, even if it was the middle of the night on her sister's end. Third Bao always answered.

"I miss Third Sister… When is Third Sister coming back?"

"Don't forget to buy toys for Little Bao! Little Bao wants lots and lots of fun toys…"

"Look! This is what Daddy bought for Little Bao today. It's super fun! You can play with it when you come back!"

"This is the pink Peppa Pig I found…"

"Fatty slept for a long time today. Daddy said Fatty is getting old…"

Little Bao chattered on to the screen, with a sleepy Third Bao murmuring responses from the other side. Mid-conversation, Little Bao realized her sister had fallen asleep.

Lin Feng came over and ended the call. "Little Bao, how about we video call your brother and sisters at night from now on? It's nighttime where they are right now!"

"Nighttime?"

Facing Little Bao's curious expression, Lin Feng explained, "Because Mr. Sun is resting where your brother and sisters are. He came over to our side to work today!"

The explanation seemed to make perfect sense to Little Bao, who uttered a half-understanding "Oh."

Lin Feng picked her up. "Come on, let's go to the supermarket!"

The little girl was nearing two years old. She was chubby, adorable, and growing fast without thinning out. Anyone who saw her would think she was four. When she stood in a group of her peers, she stood head and shoulders above them.

For her birthday this year, only Fourth Bao and Second Bao were home. The atmosphere was much more subdued. Even so, the party was a grand affair. They hired a planner and invited everyone they could.
