Take the poisonous insects and weeds near the Wild Rift, for example.

This leads to another consequence: the singular and fragile food chain cannot sustain too many Hunters.

Carnivores require energy consumption that is dozens of times more than the base level to survive.

Because the energy transfer efficiency from bottom to top is only about 10%, even if herbivores evolve to increase this ratio to a staggering 50%, it can still only support a limited number of predators.

Among carnivores, the most numerous are the Desert Wolf Pack that Lin Feng had encountered before.

Not only are they large in number, but they also gather in the Fallen Wolf Valley, depending on the genetic radiation of the Wolf King's Tomb to undergo life metamorphosis and continue their race's legacy.

So, by now, the so-called Village-level, Town-breaking Level, City-level, or even Country-level beast tide disasters have long ceased to exist.

The only recorded instances might have been thousands of years ago when underground shelters were first opened, and there were still large numbers of residual Beast Races from the Old Era capable of forming beast tide disasters.

However, even in that barbaric age, humans needed to attack and plunder each other to survive, let alone the newly awakened Evolutionary Beasts.

Only by enduring the initial shock of massive environmental changes and adapting to the wasteland's harsh conditions could a species survive.

During this period, Earth's life went from the great cataclysm and species explosion at the end of the Old Era into great extinction evolutionary processes.

In just several hundred years of the early stage, countless species unable to adapt to the new environment went extinct.

And the surviving populations, compared to humans, who have already rebuilt civilization in the wasteland, are insignificant.

Lin Feng, pondering this thought, added:

"When I previously traveled to the Taishan Ruins Forbidden Area to search for Desert Wolf Source Material for the Church, I encountered a place named Fallen Wolf Valley. "On our current East Asian Continent, wasn't there once the Pig King and the Tiger King, two Tier Three King Beasts as well?"

Only a very few, less than 1% lucky individuals, could become Evolvers, completely changing their destinies and establishing a foothold in this post-apocalyptic wasteland.

Thus, people like Lin Feng, who defy fate, although extraordinarily competitive, must seize opportunities that originally belonged to others during their rise and rapid progress.

Especially after Lin Feng stepped into Tier Two, advancing further required competing for the few available slots or directly through means of plunder to accumulate Evolutionary Resources.
