Farming with Entries: From Lord to Emperor

Chapter 160: Winter Fishing and the Air Force (Part 3)

If it weren't for Luo De's strength, he wouldn't have been able to pull it up.

"Alright, alright, I'll skip dinner tonight!"

Otto quickly agreed.

"Alright, put the fish down." Luo De waved his hand.

Otto realized it, put down the fish, and exclaimed joyfully, "This fish is huge, sir, at least a meter long!"

"Good, it's a sign of good luck."

Luo De looked at the big fish and smiled, "At least you won't be punished."

Otto quickly agreed with a smile, "You're merciful, your expectations are quite low."

"Keep pulling the net."

With a command from Luo De, Luo Fei continued to work.

Perhaps it was the luck brought by the fish, as several more fish followed, including Qiao Zui, Bai Yu, and Ji Yu.

However, there was still a long way to go to reach two hundred kilos.

"There's about twenty meters left, keep it up, Luo Fei!"

Luo De patted his shoulder in encouragement.

"Okay, my lord, if you say so, there must be more big ones ahead."

Luo Fei said lightheartedly.

Thanks to the light from Wu Si's, he's never lacking in wine.

Speaking of which, Luo Fei saw the shadows in front of the net, slowing his actions.

"Perch, it's a big perch!"

Otto exclaimed, rushing forward again to take the perch down, offering it to Luo De with both hands.

"My lord, it's a rare perch!"

Otto shouted happily.

Perch is delicious, especially when harvested in winter's cold waters, lacking any earthy smell and perfect for slicing and eating raw.

Even in River Bay, it's very rare and expensive.

"To catch such a plump perch in the first net, Frost Leaf Town will surely have another year of harvest and prosperity next year!"

Otto became more and more excited,

"Under your control, Frost Leaf Town will definitely keep getting better, as splendid as summer's blossoms, as shining as autumn's wheat fields!"

Luo De looked at Otto in surprise, not expecting this illiterate fellow to suddenly spout such a bunch of vocabulary.

It seems he must have memorized it in advance.

But catching such a fresh perch was beyond his expectations.

And indeed, perch represents good luck in winter fishing.

"Please enjoy this perch from the first net!"

"Alright."

Luo De nodded, "Then I'll have a taste."

"Everyone, come here!"

At Otto's command, slaves at the back promptly brought out a prepared hot pot.

Otto personally sliced the fish into slices, dexterously placing them on a plate, clearly having practiced many times.

Vivian willingly stepped forward, picked up a piece of fish, and swished it in the pot.

Under everyone's gaze, she added sauce and placed the first piece of fish in Luo De's mouth.

"Its taste is indeed tender."

Luo De praised with satisfaction.

Actually, this perch is best enjoyed raw for its superior taste.

In this season, coldwater fish parasites are few, making them clean.

The custom was for the town chief to eat it raw, sliced.

But here, Luo De calls the shots.

Being cautious, Luo De indeed preferred the hot pot method.

After all, Luo De decides how things are done in his domain.

That's why Otto prepared a hot pot in advance.

"Everyone should enjoy such a delicacy. So I've decided, all the fish from the first net will be for everyone to taste today!"

Luo De announced loudly, "And whether this net reaches two hundred kilos or not, tonight I'll treat everyone to drinks at the pub!"

"Thank you, my lord!"

"Long live the lord!"

The cheers echoed across the lake, raising spirits, making the deep winter feel less so cold.

Luo De took Vivian's chopsticks, picked up a slice, swished it in the pot, and placed it directly in Vivian's mouth,

"It's a pity your sister can't taste it, you can try it on her behalf."

...

...

"Achoo!"

In the Sea Abyss Wizard Tower, Avril sneezed twice beside the bookshelf.

"Sister, what happened? Do you have a cold?"

Milly asked with concern.

"No."

Avril shook her head slightly, "It's probably just a bit of dust."

The temperature inside the Wizard Tower is comfortable, far from the cold outside, making illness unlikely.

She quickly regained focus, continuing her search for the desired tomes.

"Sister, what are you looking for?" Milly asked curiously.

"Luo De asked me to see if there's any information here about Sea Pattern Grinding Iron Ore's forging methods."

Avril replied without looking up, her fingers sliding quickly along the bookshelf.

Just as her words fell, Milly pulled out a hefty tome from the shelf below, holding it with effort and offering it to Avril,

"Is it this one?"

"Huh?"

Avril, snapping back to reality, took the tome, carefully examining the crooked text:

"Detailed Explanation of Deep Sea Minerals"

Avril's eyes lit up,

"That's it!"

Avril came to herself, frowning slightly.

She gently said to Milly, "Milly, don't use your abilities recklessly, it's harmful to you."

"It's alright, wolves are cute."

Milly squeezed her hand, "Very soft and nice to squeeze..."

Avril paused for a moment, then asked, "You're not afraid anymore?"

"Yeah, yeah."

Milly nodded, a smile emerging on her face,

"Wolves are good friends."
