Chapter 198: Silver Claw Tribe_3

Soon, in the innermost area, on a wooden board covered with straw mats, lay a human.

Vika quickly locked onto the target.

——A human knight around forty years old, with brown hair, a calm demeanor, and a small leader.

Vika waved his hand, and four mountain cat people followed him, surrounding the target.

Vika raised his bone knife, staring intently at the target's neck, inching closer.

Vika could already envision the scene of slitting the throat of this human minor leader.

"Human, the Sharp Claw Race will remember your contribution."

Vika whispered in his heart.

Just a step away from the target, the target on the straw mat suddenly opened his eyes!

In the next moment, the target drew a dark blue longsword from beneath him, sweeping towards Vika and the mountain cat people!

"Retreat!"

Vika exclaimed, quickly leading his kin two steps back.

"So you were already awake, Chris."

Vika's eyes flashed with ferocity, "But you must die today!"

"Kill him!"

Vika commanded, then prepared to pounce on Chris!

"I didn't expect you to really become the lizardmen's slaves, proud mountain cat people."

A calm voice echoed at the cave entrance.

Though the alien language sounded a bit awkward, Vika could still understand it.

Vika immediately turned his head.

Seeing a handsome young man slowly walk into the cave.

"I am the Baron Lord of Black Pine Ridge, Luo De Tulip."

The young man's voice rang out again, "Give up resistance, and fewer of your people will die."

As Luo De's words fell, there was shouting and screaming from outside.

The cries of the mountain cat people were piercing, clearly audible even inside the cave.

"You only have ten tribesmen outside, while I have deployed fifty people."

Luo De said calmly, "And here, I have my Frost Iron Guard."

As he finished speaking, heavy footsteps echoed from the adjacent cave, and a dozen fully-armed soldiers charged out.

Their silver-white armor gleamed in the firelight, their shields and longswords raised, surrounding all the mountain cat people.

Vika now realized that this was a trap.

"The Silver Claw will not surrender easily!"

Vika snarled, "Fight our way out!"

Vika glanced at the cave exit ahead, gripped his bone knife, and rushed forward first!

Luo De helplessly shook his head slightly, raised his hand, and waved it forcefully forward.

The Frost Iron Guard understood, advancing slowly with their shields, confronting the mountain cat people.

"Boom, boom, boom..."

The heavy footsteps resonated in the cave, pounding on Vika's heart like a hammer.

Instinctively retreating, the mountain cat people huddled back-to-back, nervously facing the Frost Iron Guard.

"Kill!"

Vika brandished his bone knife, trying to carve a path of blood.

Clang clang clang!

The blade clashed with the shield, producing only metallic clangs, with no substantial damage.

Facing the attack, the Frost Iron Guard swung their shields, forcing the mountain cat people to stagger back.

The shield wall stood as firm as an iron wall, leaving the mountain cat people with less and less space.

Yet Vika gritted his teeth and refused to surrender.

At this moment, another middle-aged guard—Durant ran into the cave.

"Take them all!"

Durant reported loudly: "According to your instructions, we didn't kill them. Three severely wounded, six lightly injured, only one with a scratch."

"These mountain cat people are quite stubborn."

Luo De said with a calm expression, "Bring that scratched mountain cat person in."

"Yes, Lord Baron."

Durant responded, immediately going out to bring the mountain cat person in.

Luo De took the mountain cat person from the soldier's hand, pinching the person's cheek,

"Your leader is very stubborn, why don't you try to persuade him?"

The mountain cat person hung their head, silent.

In fact, with one order, the Frost Iron Guard could chop these mountain cat people into mincemeat.

But that wouldn't benefit Luo De at all.

Luo De thought that since these mountain cat people could serve the lizardmen, they could serve him too.

And their adeptness at concealment could provide him with an assassination organization.

However, Luo De knew these mountain cat people were very stubborn.

He needed to figure out a way to make these mountain cat people completely submit.

At the very least, they had to obediently lay down their weapons first.

"Proud."

Luo De grasped the captive's neck, shouting outside,

"Frost."

As his words fell, the two-legged flying dragon slowly walked into the cave.

Luo De lifted the mountain cat person captive and walked to Frost, looking back at Vika,

"My pet hasn't had its supper yet."
