Chapter 217: I Want Them All (2)

With all his strength, he turned around to look, and against the setting sun, a gigantic White Wolf stood proudly on the hillside.

And on the back of the White Wolf was the handsome young man he knew, holding a crimson longbow!

Like a prince from another world, more like a War God draped in the glow of dawn!

Beside him, dozens of knights riding giant wolves surged down, rushing towards the lizard monsters!

"Baron Rod!"

Blom's eyes widened as he exclaimed in surprise, a joyful smile quickly climbing onto his face!

But the smile was more pitiful than crying, tears mingling with blood at the corners of his eyes.

At this moment, more arrows were shot down, pinpointing the lizard monsters one by one!

The ordinary lizard monster heads couldn't withstand the sharp arrows; Blom watched as an arrow pierced through the head of one lizard monster and pinned another to the ground!

Meanwhile, the giant wolf cavalry had charged in, their massive axes cleaving the lizard monsters in half with the force of their charge!

No flesh could withstand the chopping of the war axe, not even the scales of the lizard monsters!

The Wolf Cavalry, like the reaper, every swing of their axes brought a spray of limbs and blood!

And the ferocity of the giant wolves was no less than the lizard monsters!

In their eyes, there was no fear of the monsters, only a thirst for blood and slaughter!

"Kill all these beasts!" the leading Wolfhoof shouted angrily.

"Kill!"

The Wolf Cavalry roared, slashing back and forth through the monster horde, accompanied by the splatter of blood and the screams of the lizard monsters!

In the blink of an eye, the valley of Chaotic Stone Village turned into an abattoir, black and red ichor flowing like rivers, the stench of blood reeking in the air!

The lizard monsters proved not to be utterly fearless; as axe blades cleaved heads and chests, they began to scream and retreat!

But the giant wolves had no intention of letting them leave, lunging forward to tear them into pieces one by one.

Moments later, all the lizard monsters lay fallen on the black and red ground.

The valley returned to silence, with only the heavy stench of blood lingering.

"Can you still move?"

Luo De dismounted from the White Wolf, looking Blom up and down.

Blom tried to stand but could only shake his head weakly.

"My leg is broken."

"The back should be cracked open."

"Don't worry, I won't let you die."

As Luo De finished speaking, a military physician came up with a medicine box, quickly tending to Blom's wounds.

"Thank you, Baron Rod."

Blom bowed his head, swallowing hard, "I feel a bit thirsty. Could you give me some water?"

"You've lost too much blood, you can't drink water."

Luo De rejected Blom's request, "Just lie still, my physicians won't let you die."

"Alright."

Blom sighed softly, "It's okay. If I die, the Ice Blade Valley is yours, Baron Rod."

Blom struggled to pull out his seal from his pocket and handed it to Luo De,

"Write the transfer agreement yourself."

"But the lizard monsters within Ice Blade Valley you should tidy up yourself, I'm just a waste, I can't help you."

Luo De looked at the seal in Blom's hand, frowning slightly.

Luo De understood Blom's feelings now.

Despair, sadness, a heart like dead ashes.

Everything painstakingly accumulated was destroyed in less than a day.

Even when a game account or save file was lost, Luo De felt dejected for a long time in the past.

Let alone what Baron Blom lost were real assets and loyal guards.

This kind of blow was enough to destroy a person's mindset.

But Luo De would not allow this to happen.

He raised his hand and slapped the Lord Seal away,

"If I wanted Ice Blade Valley, I wouldn't have come to rescue you."

"What I value is your courage to venture into the Desert as a Lord."

Luo De grabbed Blom by the collar, "Don't give me that half-dead look just because of a few lizard monsters; at worst, we kill and take it back!"

"But they're all dead! They're all dead! Everything's gone!"

Luo De's words made Blom unable to hold back his emotions, crying out,

"My knights! My loyal guards were torn to pieces before my eyes!"

"Then you mustn't present this self-defeating attitude!"

Luo De forcefully pulled Blom up, pointing to the shattered bodies of the guards ahead,

"It was they who used their lives to hold back these monsters, giving me the time to come and save you!"

"And what does your current attitude mean?"

"Are you telling them they saved a useless person?"

Luo De sternly questioned, "Are you saying you don't care about the honor and courage that the War Blade Clan's soldiers defended with their lives?"

"No, I care!" Blom denied with all the strength he had left.

"If you care, then don't show this sad and pathetic demeanor!"

Luo De placed Blom back on the ground, "If you care, you should be thinking of avenging them, not giving up!"

"I want revenge!"

Blom's face was pained, "But Ice Blade Town is destroyed! I have nothing left! It's all over!"

"You still have yourself."

Luo De looked down at Blom, speaking calmly, "As long as you're alive, as long as you have courage, I can help you."

"Baron Rod..."

Blom stared blankly at Luo De, wanting to say something, but Luo De stopped him with a hand gesture.

"First, heal well, then we'll talk after you're better."

Luo De waved his hand, signaling for the soldiers to carry Blom away.

After clearing the battlefield of the aftermath, Wolfhoof walked slowly to Luo De's side, watching Blom's departing figure, and couldn't help but ask in a low voice,

"Saint Master, he was already willing to offer Ice Blade Valley to you, why..."

Luo De smiled and patted Wolfhoof's shoulder, offering no further explanation.
