"This should be the place."
Zhou Yingting checked the map and compared it with his surroundings, roughly confirming this was the spot he was looking for.
After confirming, Zhou Yingting put away the map, cautiously glanced around, and then found the tallest building and quickly climbed up.
A moment later, Zhou Yingting reached the top of the building, and cast his gaze downward, not seeing any robots around.
After making sure there were no robots nearby, Zhou Yingting felt slightly relieved and promptly ran toward a shopping mall nearby.
He had previously heard news that there might be something inside this mall, and with this information, he wanted to come and take a look.
Perhaps in this mall, he could find a way to solve the problem with the intelligent brain.
As Zhou Yingting entered the mall, his gaze quickly scanned the interior, and moments later, his eyes fell on a sign nearby.
The sign clearly marked the shop situation on each floor.
After Zhou Yingting glanced at the sign, he quickly locked onto the fifth floor.
The fifth floor was hosting a technology exhibition, and perhaps he could find some useful things there.
The height of the fifth floor was not very high, so to save time, Zhou Yingting jumped and quickly got up to the fifth floor.
Soon, Zhou Yingting's eyes landed on a nearby counter, and much to his delight, there were indeed some exhibits that hadn't been taken away.
Seeing this, Zhou Yingting immediately approached, and among the items on display, the most conspicuous were several robots.
These robots seemed almost indistinguishable from humans; whether it be their skin or eyes, they were very close to human-like.
However, the robots Zhou Yingting saw now could easily be recognized as robots at first glance.
The robots here, on the other hand, appeared to be bionic robots.
If the sign didn't clearly say they were robots, one might think they were people standing there.
Zhou Yingting walked to the counter, assessed these robots, and after confirming there was no danger, he began to probe them.
Probably due to a lack of energy, these robots had shut down.
Zhou Yingting spent quite some time trying, but couldn't figure out how to turn on the robots. Fortunately, there was a manual nearby, which he picked up to look at.
The words on it were foreign to him, perhaps the unique language system of this world, but the booklet did contain animated explanations on how to activate the robots.
The instructions were clearly depicted in illustrations, showing how to activate the robots. After examining the illustrations, Zhou Yingting proceeded to activate a robot.
Once Zhou Yingting activated the robot, he looked at the manual again and started to ponder while touching his chin.
"It seems this robot is a third-generation model."
"These third-generation robots were made by the natives. Originally, their concept of mechanical ascension meant merely changing their bodies, but they still hoped the robot's body would be somewhat human-like."
"Thus, even if their bodies changed, they'd still be similar to humans."
After carefully studying these third-generation robots, Zhou Yingting roughly understood the ideas the natives had back then.
To them, changing bodies didn't mean they wished to be cold, mechanical robots.
If possible, they wanted the robot to have a body much like humans.
In this way, they could prolong their lifespan, unaffected by negative tag effects, while still maintaining their original human-like existence.
Clearly, these natives weren't foolish enough to turn themselves into cold, mechanical beings.
They still wanted to be much like humans.
"But, the negative effect of the tag above is too strong, is that why this generation of robots couldn't be used?"
Zhou Yingting turned his attention to the robot that had been activated, focusing on the internal tags and starting to ponder.
This robot had few internal tags, but the few present had very powerful negative effects.
That might be the reason why this generation of robots remained unused.
Zhou Yingting examined the robot, and then noticed a redefined tag within its internal system.
The tag clearly stated that upon definition, it would become human.
Once redefined, this robot could be treated as human, possessing human-like senses such as touch and taste.
With the robot's inherent technology, it could essentially be considered human.
After seeing this tag, Zhou Yingting felt a slight stir in his heart.
"So, those external robots, once redefined into humans, might be this kind of robot; in their view, that is what they see as human after redefinition."
"Or perhaps, possessing such tags makes them considered human in the eyes of those robots."
"If so, this tag could be quite useful..."
Focusing on the three robots before him, Zhou Yingting decided to take all three back with him for thorough research.
