Wizard: Stronger through Marriage

Chapter 231: Hell Invasion (Part 2)

Although this passage can only accommodate demons of the First-Ring Level, it's already sufficient to deal with this minor plane.

They only need to occupy this minor plane to open the Gate of Hell, allowing more powerful demons to enter here.

Then they can use it as a springboard to enter the Wizard World.

They have many such plans; Hell is the ultimate destination for all creatures in the world!

"These foolish humans think our seal will never be broken, but we're just waiting for the passage to become large enough for us to pass through."

"Indeed," another demon said coldly. "This time we will bring even stronger power."

"This Wizard World's subsidiary plane will become our springboard into the Wizard World."

"We want to nourish this world with their blood, let Hell descend!"

The third demon's face twisted, its eyes burning with hatred and venom, "Let the whole world tremble under our cold, unfeeling rule!"

The towering Ice Demon extended its finger to the distance: "Look! There's a wizard's barrier."

"Hm, wizards are truly laughable." The Leader-Level Demon sneered dismissively, "Do they think they can stop us? They're nothing more than an ant, worthless before us."

As its voice fell, a stronger, more terrifying aura emerged from the depths of the passage, a suffocating ominous premonition from the Abyss.

"Prepare to meet your doom, humans."

The Ice Demon Commander slowly raised its arm, a powerful and piercing chill instantly enveloped the surroundings.

It turned to its companion, "Follow me, we're going to destroy this place, make the whole world tremble at the forces from Hell!"

"For the King of Ice!"

The other demons responded in unison, charging forward like a gale, the disaster sweeping across the Bright Continent was quietly unfolding.

Outside the barrier.

David had already summoned the powerful witches and knights of the continent.

"They're coming."

"All are First-Ring Level Ice Demons, along with numerous Snow Demons."

David sensed briefly, his expression becoming very grim.

If it were the original Bright Continent, it truly would have no defense against these Ice Demons.

But now, the Bright Continent already possesses numerous Tier Nine witches and knights, along with himself as a Third-Ring Mage and the Elemental Barrier he set up, the possibility to fight is certain.

The Ice Demon Commander Aijia and his companions raged like malicious winds, swiftly approaching the Sealing Barrier David set up.

The Sealing Barrier emitted a faint radiance, multicolored Elemental Energy interweaving to form an indestructible shield.

However, in the face of the Ice Demons, all this seemed so fragile.

"Tsk, these humans actually dare to use such feeble power to resist us."

Aijia's lips curled into a cold smile. "Let's see how long they can last!"

At his command, a powerful chill was released from his hand, instantaneously transforming into a cold, sharp arrow aimed directly at the barrier.

"Let them feel despair!"

A demon behind him shouted, unleashing countless Snow Demons in rapid succession.

These Snow Demons, swift like the wind, rushed towards the barrier, trying to tear through it with freezing cold and sharp ice spikes.

David stood inside the barrier, gripping his Magic Staff tightly, gravely observing the situation within the barrier's enclosure.

"Prepare for battle! Stick to the formation, don't let them break through!" he commanded decisively.

Witches and knights gathered around, amassing their strength, infusing the barrier with Elemental Energy to enhance its defense.

With the continual attacks from the Ice Demons, one piercing blow after another quietly descended.

Some Snow Demons had already collided against the barrier, frenzied like a blizzard.

Under the mighty impact, the Elemental Barrier shuddered slightly but remained steadfast.

Everyone could feel the enemy's increasingly powerful offensive pressure, yet they maintained a thread of belief in their hearts.

They knew this battle wasn't just about survival but concerned the future of the entire Bright Continent!

Just then, a loud crash shook the entire scene.

Aijia yelled, "Break open this barrier for me!"

It raised both hands high, an extreme chill coalescing around it, as unstoppable as frozen time.

The chill instantly converged into a massive Ice Blade, slicing towards the Elemental Barrier with incomparable speed!

Bang, a loud crash!

The gigantic Ice Blade struck the Elemental Barrier set up on the Bright Continent, resulting in a great tremor.

Dazzling light blended with biting cold, momentarily freezing time.

The abundant energy ripples generated from the fierce collision spread out, causing several knights standing close by to brace their bodies to avoid being pushed back.

Yet, even after that intense impact, the impregnable barrier remained intact.

Instead, it gleamed with even more brilliant, scorching golden flames, contrasting sharply with the ferocious, sinisterly bloodthirsty figures from the Abyss around it.

David stood at the forefront of the group, dragging the Elemental Wizard Tower in his hand.

Immediately, his Third-Ring Mage power radiated forth, the four Talent Marks of Wind, Water, Earth, and Fire within him activated simultaneously.

All Elemental Power immediately surged into the Elemental Wizard Tower, continuously reinforcing the Elemental Barrier.

The Elemental Barrier shimmered brilliantly, powerful energy flowing continuously, like a towering fortress, blocking the Ice Demons' attacks outside.

David gathered all Elemental Power, preparing to launch a counterattack.

Suddenly, Elemental Energy intertwined and gathered into a dazzling pillar of light, shooting straight from his Magic Staff's tip.

This pillar of light accurately hit the barrier, causing the surrounding protective screen to flare with brilliant golden light.

Powerful energy surged from deep within the barrier, sweeping out like a tide, making numerous Ice Demons and Snow Demons feel unprecedented oppression.

"What?!"

Aijia felt a sense of unease, and immediately recalled the gesture of attack, witnessing the new change in the powerful surging energy within the barrier.

"How... how is this possible?!"

"This aura exceeds the First Ring; how can the Bright Continent have creatures exceeding the First Ring?"

The Ice Demons were all shocked.

For so many years, Ice Hell never gave up exploring the Bright Continent.

The Demon Believers on the Bright Continent were apostles Hell stationed on this continent.

And according to these apostles' feedback, there have always been very few entities exceeding the Official Mage Level on the Bright Continent.

This was the main reason these Ice Demons were so confidently entering the Bright Continent to completely occupy it.

But now, suddenly appeared a mage far beyond the First Ring, perhaps even exceeding the Second Ring in power.

"Let them witness the true power of a wizard!" David said calmly and firmly.

He again swung his Magic Staff, a giant fiery tornado rising from behind him like a tornado of flames, descending upon those Snow Demons and Ice Demons trying to breach the barrier.

The fiery tornado tore into the enemies like a fierce beast, they howled and struggled in the flames, but had nowhere to escape, being instantly reduced to ashes.

Aijia was shocked to see this: "Fall back! Quickly retreat!"

Yet this powerful counterattack did not cease.

A blast of wild wind then surged forth, forming a massive rotating airflow around David, sweeping all remaining Snow Demons into it.

Those tiny lives were shredded like paper by the sheer wind.

"We cannot sit and wait to die!" another Ice Demon roared angrily.

He gathered a more intense, more deadly chill in his hands, risking danger to launch a final, desperate charge at the barrier.

But this attack barely touched the unyieldingly strong barrier, as if colliding with an unshakeable mountain, not only failing to breach but being rebounded and consumed by frost.
